This is the real deal software. It's what I've been searching for. The problem was Dor needed to be removed. He didn't have any amazing skills and it looks bad having a CEO in a decentralized network. Dor also wanted to make the code closed source. Dor was more at the level of some $50,000 marketcap shitcoin than a project of this amazingness. Now rchain is a co-op and all open source (it always was open source) and things are looking up.
An important direction that I want to see is multiple rchain networks working together. The network is highly centralized with the rchain co-op having all the premined network usage tokens.

Though this service is really needed but i do not trust the source which it is coming from right now because it might even be used to promote scam coins or scam ico.
There are many other services that do this that look better and more trustworthy. I like public people who rate ICOs.

I've SILK on poloniex. Is this the same thing?
You need to download and sync the old Silkcoin wallet and move your coins from Poloniex, click here. Once Weaver opens for deposit register an account and send them there.
Why can't I sent it directly from poloniex to... weaver? Is that like some online wallet?
You should be able to... Reason people keep saying get your coins off Poloniex is you don't know when they are going to permanently take the wallet offline. Once that happens your coins are gone forever. They aren't supporting SILK since the delist. My recommendation, move your stuff ASAP...
You coins won't be gone forever but you might have to email poloniex and say you will be filing a complaint with the SEC if they don't give you your coins.

Poloniex delisted silkcoin, that means you need to withdraw your coins to a local wallet ASAP.
So this is the same coin and I can get it swapped?

That's not exactly how this coin is distributed but close. I think there may have been other coins in the mix for bounties prior to the 1CO and after it. People keep inventing new ways to distribute coins which messes up my model.
A more transparent distribution model that people would be more happy with would be 1COX2CO, without the private sales.

Is Synereo's success in part because of the private sales though? I'm sure the large private investors are willing to spend even more money to promote synereo once they own a large share. They might be why everyone is talking about synereo today.

I read on the slack channel that rich investors get bonus amps. This means price is lower for the big whales and they can sell for a bonus once they get their amps.

Why do you think that price will be under 20k? Best offer during crowdsale you can take with big volume is 28695 satoshi.
But yes, I too prefer single-IPO approach. I don't think Synereo is doing wise move here. But it was not a secret, they informed about it (in general) since the beginning and so it's hard to blame them. They are trying to think big and so let's see what they can do. On the other hand they should also be aware that crypto community is not the most patient one.
the site states crowdsale price is 33000 satoshi and upwards . on first day will be 33000 + a share of 1 million amps dependng on % of total invested on the day. impossible to predict what share of the 1 million amps anyone could get even with a huge volume buy.

I'll probably have 2 ways to interact with the system in the near future.
1 way will be free and semi-centralized and the other will have micropayments and be decentralized.
This will also help my current users of the app learn more about decentralized apps.
Something that a lot of people don't understand is using a decentralized network is extremely difficult for a user. They also need access to a node which then costs money. I could see a lot of users opting to use the free semi-centralized service instead of the decentralized service. Advertisers will need to use the decentralized advertising token to advertise on the DApp.
If mobile apps need to offer both a semi-centralized and decentralized option then this project already has half of the puzzle solved.
Interesting stuff. Semi decentralized. You get the benefits of both sides!
