The economy that you said in a recession might depend on the country and economy that you meant. I don't think bitcoin price depends solely on the economic condition because if it does it could have become zero as some countries have been in recession for up to five years now.

I doubt if the reason for them developing the currency is to affect Bitcoin because I'm not seeing any correlation between the two. This is a currency we are talking about that will be used as legal tender in the countries and is not like they don't have any existing currency before and this doesn't affect it.

As I will advise, when one hears about things firstly you do your research and decide on the best amount you can invest, so that people may not necessarily be procrastinating but doing their research into what they are investing their money in, if we tell a new investor to invest and wait till the next halving to have more profit and it doesn't happen what to tell then

I believe that anybody interested in Bitcoin has done some background check because all this fluctuation didn't start after the day he bought Bitcoin that is how the market works and his purchasing the coin won't stop that dimension, whatsoever decision your friend takes my point is just that he should try not to sell below the procuring price.

Before now, word of mouth do the work of marketing, by this I mean the referral method and it's a really good one that still works today for marketing, technology has advanced in a really good way making everyone a content creator for their brand and for those that can afford influencer can do it. This is a great act of humanity because some government will just pass this to a bill somewhere and won't do it. The Nigerian government also propagates this student loan in the country just hoping that government officials won't put corruption, nepotism, and red-tapism into the process and do well for every student who needs the loan.

For someone to spend bitcoin, he must at one point hold bitcoin before becoming a spender or he should have bought bitcoin, in either case, he is an investor at one point or another.
