Re: Thailand Legalize Crypto currency

There is no denying of the usefulness of bitcoin and thailand see it also that bitcoin is very helpful to the economy and the people. Another country who open their minds to this big change in financial system, this is a very good news.
I could not agree more! Thailand has more than 22,657,730 visitor arrivals annually and a percent of those tourists are bitcoin users, so it's good that cryptocurrency is widely accepted in their country, I hope others will follow.

Re: If you were to spread the word of Bitcoin..
by

Curiosity surrounds the world of Bitcoin, that's for sure. But if you were to be asked to introduce Bitcoin to someone who knows nothing about it, how would you do it? What approach will you take?

EDIT:

In addition to the question, how did you learn about Bitcoin? Do you think your first steps into the crypto world is something you want other's to experience? Or would you rather have them take another path that might shed more light on Bitcoin better
I would tell them that Bitcoin is not a scam, not a bubble, and definitely not a ponzi scheme.

Re: What to make bitcoin a popular payment method?
by
happistarjp
on 12/09/2018, 09:16:34 UTC

For something that can become a popular means of payment, you need the following:
Store of value: allowing individuals to make intemporal choices on when to spend their purchasing power
Medium of exchange: facilitating the exchange of goods and services by eliminating the inefficiencies associated with a barter economy
Unit of account: acting as a measure of value in the economic system.
Do you think the bitcoin has all three of these elements? I am looking forward to the bitcoin will become a popular payment method in the future.
3 points
  • Media Exposure
  • More people should be involved in the movement
  • use and patronize Btc

I don't think that Bitcoin is a Ponzi Scheme. It was never intended to scam or fool people, a lot of folks actually got a good ROI after investing to BTC. It just so happen that the market is a little shaky at the moment.

Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking?
by
happistarjp
on 10/09/2018, 09:47:44 UTC
Reports have it that bank frauds still continue to happen despite of strict security measures being taken by the banks. Just between January to July 2018, just timeshare fraud alone had 1.155 reported cases. It's when you’re told you can go on a free holiday or get rich by joining an exclusive holiday club or timeshare programme, but you’re eventually forced to pay for it through small print in the contact. That is not to mention other types of fraud like identity theft etc.

This gets me thinking, is it safer to just have bitcoins, or cryptocurrencies for that matter since it's not regulated by banks? What do you think?
Bitcoin is really safe and secure. Paper wallets can be used to store bitcoins offline, which significantly decreases the chances of the cryptocurrency being stolen by hackers or computer viruses.

How Does the Labouchere Betting System Work?
by
happistarjp
on 07/09/2018, 07:28:01 UTC
The Labouchere system works best with even-money bets on the roulette table. These bets are the Red/Black, Odd/Even, and 1-to-18/19-to-36.

First off, you must decide on the amount you want to win. Afterward, divide the amount into smaller numbers and write them down in any sequence you like. For example, you want to win US$5. Your number sequence can be:

1 – 2 – 1 – 1

However, you should create the sequence according to your liking. There is no right or wrong way of creating a sequence just as long as adding up all the numbers in your series will result to your target prize.

Next, you should add the first and last numbers in the sequence. The sum of both numbers will be the amount of your first bet. Based on the example, adding the first and last numbers (1 + 1) makes 2, which means you must bet US$2.

Say you won the round; you should cross out both the first and last numbers of the sequence, leaving you with:

1 – 2 – 1 – 1

The next bet would then be US$3 because the sum of the first and last numbers in the sequence (2 + 1) is 3.

What if you lose the round? You will add the amount lost to the end of the sequence. In this case, losing US$3 means you should add 3 to the end of your sequence:

2 – 1 – 3

Continue wagering according to the pattern until you clear all the numbers in the series. Crossing out the whole system means that you won your desired amount and completed the Labouchere system. You may now write a new sequence and follow these steps to win once again.

Re: Bitcoin [BTC] now accepted for bail at Federal Court
by

https://ambcrypto.com/bitcoin-btc-now-accepted-for-bail-at-federal-court/

Bitcoin is really going mainstream now. Even a federal court is already asking payments for bitcoin or any other crypto as bail. Is this news really legitimate or just another fake one just to at least ease our minds of what's happening recently to the crypto market. Hope this adoption of crypto even in federal courts will show great performance when it comes to the crypto market. So for all of those guys who have qualms about the situation of the market right now specially the dips of bitcoin, we just have to chill and relax then wait for the bull run soon.

What are your thoughts on this? Will this create great impact to bitcoin's value? Share your thoughts.
To be fair, the bail payment is accepted in any credible format hence, Bitcoin was accepted. I guess the law still varies in every state.

We all know that this year we experienced bitcoin surging up so high from $1k in January then on this month of December it almost touch up to $20k. So, do we have to expect more on Bitcoin just like this in the coming years that will go through?

For me I think I will be positive as this years has and hold the Bitcoin that I have right now.
Bitcoin may have faced a big drop, but anything is possible.

Guide to Iron Cross Betting Systems
by
happistarjp
on 30/08/2018, 09:28:26 UTC
Tired of the same old craps game? Improve the way you play with the Iron Cross Betting System!

Place a Field Bet and Place Bet After the Come-Out Roll

The field bet covers numbers 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, and 12. Meanwhile, the place bet covers the numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10. In the place bet, the only numbers not covered by the field bet are 5, 6, and 8. In order not to exhaust your wagers, you have to put your place bets only on 5, 6, and 8. When you place your wagers on the field bet and place bet, it will cover all of the numbers except 7.

Re: BITCOIN is useless!?

Bitcoin hedead to zero?
The former ceo of paypal Bill harris said that, bitcoin's value will continue to dwindle until it gets "eventually a whole lot closer to zero."and saying that there's just no value in bitcoin and "Bitcoin makes no revenue, no profitability."
he also called the cryptocurrency is a
"colossal pump-and-dump scheme, the likes of which the world has never seen."
I think this is non-sense, what about you?

Source: cnbc

I don't think so why are we going to base the fate of Bitcoin just because Bill Harris said that statement?

Re: Most Crypto investors are Cowards
by
happistarjp
on 17/08/2018, 07:42:55 UTC
The answer is just simple, we all are cowards  Smiley. Everyone will like to wake up one day and find out that Btc has reached 50,000. All these people are scared to invest hugely in bitcoin but want to become  Crypto millionaire and Billionaire. You ask them why they are scared and they are like crypto is volatile and so on. This is the time to set the record straight make people realize what they are into. If you are scared then there is no need for you to join this amazing fraternity Smiley.
Let's just say that crypto investors are risk takers, but not all of them are cowards some are just being wise I guess.

Re: Thailand Legalize Crypto currency

While there are several nations which are passing laws against crypto world.  Thailand has entered the list of the nations which have legalized crypto currency.  Thailand is mainly dependent on tourism industry.  So I think it is wise decision on t he part of a country where major source of income is from tourism.  So it will attract more tourists to this country.
It will benefit a lot to the country and is healthy signal for the health of Bitcoin family.
This is a good news I heard that there a lot Thai companies that are interested in digital currency, it's nice that the Thai market is booming and open about Bitcoin.

I think it's because the concept is somewhat new to people plus it's getting a lot of exposure from the media. And because it's the digital age, anything that has something to do with internet or technology gets all the attention.
