A bit unclear what the purpose is

Well, it's not an entirely wrong speculation, Bitcoin decreased 90% back in 2013-2015, from that all time high of 1200 ish., so if you want to take a history record of how volatile Bitcoin can be, this would be the worst case scenario by far.

But it's highly unlikely, i suspect BTC to settle near 5-8k Levels, it woulden't suprise me at all if Bitcoin fell back to 5k.

I truly believe this coin is going to rise to greatness, in like 6-8 months time, it's going to explode overnight, because of how sophisticated and how much detail has gone into this project.

This is truly the next NEO/ETH insert top 20 coin here ____, in terms of potential gains. And if any whales do pick up this coin and start using their smartcontract system, then this is going to be a very bullish coin for whales.

Lastly, there's 1 suggestion i'd like to add, and that's more exchange support behind this coin. Getting listed to Kucoin, Bittrex, and eventually Binance once the mainnet is launched should be a top priority.

NEO will not surpass Bitcoin, because bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrencies, the most adopted, trusted and known digital currency to date. On those terms, you can't kill Bitcoin. The only thing that can kill Bitcoin, is Bitcoin itself (the network failure of BTC). Other than that, hold onto your hat, because this remains just high speculation. Noone knows future of coins

Now, i have no affiliation with the Universa team what so ever (but obviously an investor), but i really thing this coin is a gem in a sea of shit. Their mainnet boasts smart contracts, and 20k TPS nodes, along with other goodies. Their CEO is consistently promoting and going around the world to make deals and market his coin, something really unheard of by a team that's barely launched their Mainnet yet.

Truly the ETH of Russia, just like how NEO was the ETH of China.

Only $.04 per coin too, reminds me of NEO, but with a higher supply (roughly 3billion circ).

Universa the most underated coin this year. I can't wait for the day when people are posting and freaking out about UTN's gains, especially when the mainnet launches.

We can expect awesome things from the team, and all their affilations with big companies and etc makes this coin a dynamite buy. Despite the current market conditions, i think UTN is the ETH of Russia, just like NEO was selling for $.03 during ICO, UTN is taking the same type of steal buy.

eth can overtake bitcoin, but unlikely

Literally one of the best projects of 2018, and i'm not saying that to be a stakeholder, i'm saying that because i truly believe this is one of the hidden gems to launch in quite some time.

If the distribution is done perfectly (or near), and a mainnet is launched with some modifications, we're truly looking at a next top-100 coin on the markets. Maybe it woulden't happen initially due to selloff, but if there is continued support, there is no doubt this coin can easily achieve a 100million market cap status.

We'll see how well this coin is delivered though.

Good. KYC is a terrible thing to downfall on all cryptos. Because of it, i think there will be a big backlash one day, and one ICO will be found out to be selling/have their user's IDs stolen (if it hasn't occured already) it will happen soon enough. When big corporations can't protect your idenity from theft, what makes you think some two-bit ICO is going to? All they care about is your money, and as long as you comply, they don't give anything about you.

Yeah, almost all bounties and airdrops are worthless. I've seen wallets with like 50-100 airdropped coins, and only 2 of them were worth anything at all.

Out of every 50 airdrops you enter, expect only 1 to bring you some type of profit. Yes, the ratio's are that high for worthless airdrops to solid airdrops on Bitcointalk, very few actually understand what it takes.

There are very few ICO's that have anything worth looking at. To find these gems is exceptionally hard, because sometimes the ICO's worth looking at, that look so good, end up as complete scams, take note and point of Arcblock as an example of a scam.

The ones who revolutionize blockchains, like Universa for example, go unnoticed and have no hype whatsoever, but these types of ICO's have the greatest potential out of all coins. It isn't until they are pumped heavily, do they draw the masses attention, then they wish they got in sooner... and the cycle goes on endlessly.

The reason for this is, very few people understand what they are actually investing in, like i see it time and time again, just many clueless people. The majority of ICO's take advantage of this, and spoon feed investors and try to become instantly relate-able to that person.

A major lack of educated investments here is drawing all crypto's into a realm of stupidity, and the people who create ICO's know this, or are just creating some failed vision of theirs.

I heard some othercoin is making Blockchain 9000, just because you can tweak the blockchain a little, doesn't make it 2.0, 3.0 ... etc, just marketing hype.

I'm about to invest a little bit into DO, despite all that i think it will turn out to be relatively solid coin.

So much for airdropped coins, if people are going to abuse the system and ultimately require and ICO to enter or gain a reasonable amount of coins. Seems like airdrop is just another way to promote the coin

Reminded me of the coins of old, some solid writings in the whitepaper, and best of all asking for no funds at all. We'll see how this plays out, but if you can make the mainnet and distribute, i don't think you'll have any trouble entering the top 200-100 of cyrptos.

No they aren't, because cryptocurrencies have no govern authority, no infrastructure that can be used in the real world. Can be used for alternative payments, but won't be a threat to the dollar anytime soon.

The only thing that will kill the dollar, is the dollar/american government itself.
