I do really hope people still keep posting on r/bitcore_btx even though the campaign has ended. I personally have made it a habit, and I believe in the future of Bitcore. They won the hackathon by BB Bank (together with Dash team) recently.

And AFAIK, banks are not blind to the fact that blockchain and cryptocurrency can make their business more effective, and therefore, they are trying to incorporate it into their system as well. So, the future still provides cryptos more room to grow.

The first part is a very interesting question that I believe nobody has the definite answer. What we can see is based on the patterns of the price up to 2017, when the price tends to go up towards the end of the year, only to go down again afterward.

As for the second question, IMHO Bitcoin is still the most promising coin. The other coins (thousands in numbers) simply follow the price movement of Bitcoin.

(1) There are lots of fake coins around. Scammers are trying to fool investors.
(2) To avoid falling victim to these scammers, always DYOR, do your own research.

Cryptos and banks sound weird to go together. They do not fit each other.

I think there shouldn't be something like "a coin-for-all-purposes". Bitcoin is still OK, but other alts serving specific purposes should also thrive.

I still trust BTX, as it clearly shows up the road to take. Instead of becoming a pump and dump coin, it will be the one of the greatest coin. It takes time, patience, and support.

IMHO, it's only a matter of time before BTX blasts off. It has all the specs for a good coin. As a project, it also has the community's awesome support.

It's always a good idea to split our assets into multiple wallets, preferrable the one recommended by the developer. On top of that, we have to make sure that each wallet is encrypted using proper password, so that it adds additional security layer to our wallet. For a precaution, don't install browser extension unless you are sure what the extension is. By having safe practices of storing our assets, we are also helping the trust in cryptos, so that a wider adoption could be achieved, and all crypto supporters may flourish together.

Agree. In any kinds of investment, investors will have to do an extensive research. In crypto, the importance of doing our own research even doubles, as crypto is a new investment and technology arena.
On your last point, I also want to add that if we want to help crypto to flourish healthily, a proper DYOR will make people trust us, because the more investors are critical, the less scam ICOs will be. It's just a natural selection, in which bad ICOs will eventually perish, IMHO.
