It is worth it if you really think the project can succeed. Otherwise not worth the time IMO

So you are basically saying bitcoin will never ever reach old highs again? This is nonsense it is just a matter of time. Price cant go down forever.

You have to be active and actually understand what you are doing. If you just randomly buy a coin or trade btc you might aswell get 50 lottery tickets and have the same luck.

Re: $280 in one airdrop, is it legit?
by
hasemase
on 27/07/2018, 15:58:57 UTC
You cant really now. One thing I can say is, you should never ever do KYC on an airdrop if you are not 100% sure they are legit. They might aswell just scam you for every bit of information you have and then ditch on you or give u useless tokens.

Greed is a big factor. They think about the 10x 100x 1000x that are possible with ico but it is the same as playing lotto. You have a chance of winning big money but the possibility is just low

Re: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN NO ONE SELLS BUT HODL?
by
hasemase
on 16/07/2018, 13:41:12 UTC
Do you mind explaining why you think the market price would go down if everybody decides to HODL? Even though this cant be achieved in reality if all of the retailers would hodl and not sell the price would most likely move up.
Most of the people who hold their coins are now deep underwater and shouldnt even be selling.

You cant compare Bitcoin alone to the whole Stock Market. But there probably will be another financial crysis and I think bitcoin will do way better than the stocks if that happens Wink

Do not worry, bitcoin will never collapse, especially if we talk about the near future. Do you have any arguments to prove that bitcoin is a bubble?

Bitcoin was in a bubble phase as you can see in a chart with log switched off. The bubble(Parabola) popped and we are having a bear market. Altough it seems that bitcoin will recover well like in the past. Next bitcoin mania will sure this or in the next year.

If this inverse head and shoulders plays out we could be revisiting 8k. After that it is likely that we will continue the downtrend and make a new low (looking at 5400-5600) and bounce again.

Honestly I invest because I want to make money and see the potential. I trade because it is like a game and you can practice to get better. The time you invest will be worth it, it is like studying.

Thank you for the link. It seems that they are is going to be a new birth of BTC. I feel very curious about this. I am waiting to see what’s going to happen.

Why do you think there will be a rebirth? The book will tell stories about bitcoin and its creator. Bitcoin will still be Bitcoin.

Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin?

Volatility, Loss of Capital, Transaction Problems (History of high fees and long waiting time), better alternatives (Paypal for fast transactions, Gold/Stocks for long term investing)
these are the main points that into my mind.
Also, the hype in december was just because EVERYBODY could make money. Right now the market is shit thats why they arent investing. Maybe they will jump back at the bangwagon when we make higher highs (12k and +20k)
