Re: [ANN][POOL][MULTI] Hash.so multicoin pool with easy coin switching, 40 coins!

Indeed, we lost some coins fork bad forks, and good forks that I just missed because I was away Sad

Anyways, the pool is closing down at least temporarily. I might start it up again if I can recruit few friends to help out with it. If other people are also working with you, it adds peer pressure which makes it harder to bail on the project (as happened here).

Anyways, most of the pools are currently a bit fucked up. I'll get them fixed and issue payouts before I shut the pool down.

I'm sorry for bad times near the end. Happy mining, and I hope to see you all again when/if we relaunch!

We are still passionately mining it at https://sol.hash.so/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks lools like we might be the only ones Smiley

I really like the coin, not too much noise, not too many hard forks. Very pleasant, very professional!

Admin is not dead Smiley All accounts unlocked. Rabbit payouts sent: http://rabbitco.in:8080/block/520576866c59dbe7dc3c773d686aaac8c9059e919b4c9e7a29b5117d4fa4b7d1

Smartcoin is in a weird fork state. I think our pool is pretty much the only thing that updated to the correct fork, but I'm not sure. Anyways, I'll resume payouts for it momentarily.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for mining with us!

Sorry for lack of updates from hash.so. We are on the "correct" fork, and everything is going smootly. I disabled payouts when the fork was going to happen so that it would be easier for miners. My intention was to release the coins when exchanges have updated, but now it seems like it has already been too long so I'm issuing payments momentarily. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry been extremely busy with real life, so near to zero progress on pool front, no new coins, no progress on any dev efforts Sad I just try to keep it functional. Sadly some frontends get confused quite often and lack of time means they will stay like that for 0-24 hours, depending how my schedule looks like.

I would really like to spend more time for the pool, but currently it's just not possible. Sorry Sad Hopefully I can devote more time for it in the future. Thank you for mining with us!

(LTC pool has been insanely lucky Wink)

What's happening with Hash.so?
Cron stalled, so payouts didn't happen and stats haven't been updating. Mining was not affected and everything is catching up now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Our frontend (www/cron) server failed today. Not a huge issue, but some crons were delayed by quite a bit. Everything should be fixed (except EAC, which is still a bit messed up). If you see issues please let us know.

I think the boat for AUR already sailed, diff is already too high. If you poke me enough, I might end up adding it anyways.

LTC Pool is now up! https://ltc.hash.so/ Happy hashing. It will take a while to get enough hashers in there, but I'll try hard to make it happen!

Hash.so has been upgraded and you can start mining:

https://rdd.hash.so/

(most other places haven't upgraded yet, so if you withdraw coins it will take a while for them to show up anywhere)

I have a working code ready, but we need to work this out with the pools, or else we will just fork the coin n-times. Please join #reddcoin on freenode so we can figure out how to proceed.

I don't think it fixed the issue.

edit: new wallet was started with "-rescan -reindex"

Delete everything but your wallet.dat file and restart.  We're pegging blocks on CripToe.

-Fuse

Please stop with the risk of everyone moving there and causing yet another fork? can we please calm down? You asume everyone to compile from your code and just go with it. Waiting for Dev ann

Do you understand that if we are on the highest chain, it will be the proper fork?  Essentially, the dev will need to verify the code, pull it, and then create a block checkpoint.  Highest fork wins, mate.  Right now, the pool is on the highest fork, and climbing.  That's how this works.

-Fuse

Edit: Also, when a coin forks, you can't just wait around.  You need to fix the issue before the forks grow too far apart and other forks happen.  The only thing my change does was limit connections between nodes by only allowing newer clients to connect.  It blacklists the old clients which probably caused the issue in the first place.  Check my pull request on github, nothing fancy there.
But if I take the old code, add your changes and connect to "your" network, I can still create a new fork? At least to me it seems that way, I don't think you fixed the underlying issue.

Also your fork is not the longest Smiley  84922 vs 84913

Working on and testing a fix right now... I will report back.
If only the devs were in irc so we could all help out Sad Seriously, poor show.
Let them work it out instead of people screaming at them at IRC, like they would have time for that now anyway...
I wasn't going to scream at them, I was going to help them fix the issue.

Any ETA on Auto yet?
Sadly no ETA yet Sad Been busy with non pool related things, hopefully get more time to work on it next week. I have made at least some progress, but maybe it was also a little bit more complex than I anticipated.

What about adding Auracoin?
I think you meant AuroraCoin: http://auroracoin.org/ if so, it's probably going to be added soon.

Is this Zeit.Hash.so pool working?  Accepting shares but site has 0 net hash rate and not distributing rewards.  Is it just the frontend fucking up?

I can see lots of accepted blocks for them on their site but have not been paid anything yet Sad

Previous experaicne with hash.so has been good so they are probably just catching up Smiley
I start the backend first (because it's more important), but frontend is now catching up as well, you should see some coins!
