Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin.
by

Been two days of weird pool issues, getting pool sent wrong data. Happening at two locations so I am assuming it's not me.

Ethash is the pool I am mining from (auto switching so it could be eth, music, or classic, I don't recall.

Going to try switching miners.

EDIT: Swapped all rigs to claymore 15 and they all seem to have started. That was randomly easy rofl must have been an update or a block reached that made the version I was on quit working....and the pool was fine, as always.

I can get this miner working directly to a pool. however, MiningRigRentals will not connect.

Any ideas as to why?

this in the consol:

""02:21:47 Connected to us-east01.miningrigrentals.com:3333
02:21:47 Subscribed to Stratum Server
02:21:47 Set Nonce: f800002e

02:21:52 Connected to us-east01.miningrigrentals.com:3333

02:21:52 Set Nonce: f800002e

02:21:52 Connection Error: End of file
02:21:52 All user mining pools are unavailable
02:21:53 Miner terminated, watchdog will restart process after 10 seconds""
Having the same issue but I am trying to connect directly to pools, I had the same issue with Bminer.

Hey guys,

win10(win8)+1063+latest drivers
epoch 177-178: work if use claymore with key -eres 0
epoch 179 (~8 apr): work if use ethminer 0.12.0+
epoch 180 (~12 apr): work if use driver 372.54 + claymore with key -eres 0
epoch 181 (~18 apr):  work if use Windows 7 or linux

conclusion: u can use win10(win8) + 1063 + driver 372.54 + claymore with key -eres 0 up to ~18.04.2018 after that only win7 or linux

or u can use win7 or linux now and forget about dag issue.

win7 up to ~ 11.2018
linux up to ~ 12.2018
Just so you know, your date was spot on, my 1060 3gb died a glorious unprofitable death in early December on Linux. Others had different dates, but for me and another person yours was correct.

Please learn the difference between break even and return of investment before making educational charts. Assuming that the price and difficulty stays the same (it won't), the device will pay itself in 43.5 months ("1305 days ROI" in your chart) and after that it will start mining for profit.
You're fighting a losing battle here.

Oh good, that means the antminer z9's will remain profitable for 1.5 years.

Seriously though, that's a long time away, a TON of things can happen by then.

So you're building out a 250k plus operation and you want people just to toss info at you. All of these questions are simple and easy to find by a normal person let alone a 250k operation. I can understand asking a question here or there but you're asking for a darn business plan.

I am sure someone will need this(for some specific reason), but I feel like if you're spending nearly a grand on a miner, you would at least install a 240v outlet.

noone should be mining right now. You are almost all mining at a loss with no granted profit.

Wrong. You can't generalize if someone should mine or not as you don't know how much he's paying for electricity + the hardware.
For most people you're right but there are still enough people mining at profit and not at a loss.
Pretty much sums it up, you can go pretty deep but at the end there is at least SOME speculation (but on the most basic levels most of us use, this is perfect).

Looking for a ” Miner OPTIONS” configuration for CryptoNight-Heavy that makes the AMD RX580 8GB cards run with their peak performance.

Under Windows 10 with SRBMiner these cards run around 950 H/s per card, but in SMOS they end up around 660 H/s in both XMRig and XMR-Stak, so if someone know which setting I need to add to the configuration in SMOS to solve this speed issue that would be great.
Yeah I need one also, I think its a threads issue 2 vs 1.

..snip...

There goes your Millions man.

Also, releasing it for free is great (really) but throwing mud at the other developer isn't kosher.

hashestohashes - I am unsure how I've thrown mud at another developer, and will fix it if I have. Please point me to it.

... as far as millions, don't we all wish...

I can't speak to the capabilities of others, but I spent a reasonable amount of time on my work (if others can do it faster, that is awesome!) and actually acquired licensed copies of IDA Professional and Hex-Rays ARM32 compiler to support this work, that alone cost $4100 USD plus tax. I also had to import a Z9, which after customs/taxes/shipping cost $4179. So before I even started the work, I was out $8279.

I've also spent numerous hours responding to email inquiries and PMs to provide support for installation, for overclocking, etc. I've spent a couple of hours this past week in 'teamviewer' helping another individual load on 8 machines....

I definitely didn't do this to "get rich". I only hacked this because I was frustrated that bitmain had locked 'my unit' after delaying it 3+ weeks. Smiley

I forgot who I was quoting, the first part was directed at you (the millions lol which was sarcasm). The second half was directed at OP. Fail on my part lol

Awesome! Thank you for sharing freely and openly.

.... and for the record, any one responding to my post and providing feedback, did it of their own volition. While that was 'good marketing', it was not driven by me and was completely organic.
.... and as far as comments about donations, you can see for yourself by checking the addresses for donation. The only funds sent to those were funds I mined myself during testing, and funds someone sent before talking to me asking to get the full version..

I've updated my post pointing people to you. Enjoy!

I'll stop working on per-hashboard-frequency management that would have worked on every single cgminer based miner Bitmain has released.

To do it, just add 2 more segments to cgminer, code up the frequency management reading functions back from cgminer.conf, then go into the main loop that handles frequency setting for the hashboards, jump the current function into your code, set up the same registers, and jump back into the function that actually sets the board frequencies.
Second, modify cgminer to support updating the frequencies across the boards by not having it restart. To do this, hook into bitmain_ZCASH_reinit_chain, but don't step on the functionility int he check_miner_status() function.

Also, please update the image to support auto-tuning of the frequencies once you have this done so the end users do not have to worry about the clocking manually. Many do not know how to SSH/etc.

Back to my day job!

here's the fees UPS wants:

$189.18 USD

for one unit..
They better get those American ASIC companies up and running pronto (so we can pay like 15% more than before, but 10% less than we have to pay now)

The first batch is not yet fully launched, and the profit fell to 8-10 dollars, depending on the cost of electricity.
https://www.asicminervalue.com/miners/bitmain/antminer-dr3
Now purchase orders are set for October 8-15. By this time, the profit will fall several more times and the asic may not be payable.

Those who bought in September will probably earn if they sell it now Smiley
A man giving out free advice on how to make money, seems sketchier than paying $99 for an ebook lol

I don't know the site or anything about it, but for all we know they shipped a stack of magazines until you get it and test it. So you may want to update AFTER you get it and not base it on shipping.
Please don't swear. I got notice of this website on Discord in a miners group. He is clearly talking about a company named "Blocksolutions" and i have looked the EUid yes very strange.. they might changed their domain name between those years?

UPDATE:

I placed my order and it's shipped already Topic can be closed. They are legit.

Batch 1 is SOLD OUT now!

looks like people are buying these up..

Bitmain likes to do dirty tricks with SOLD OUT to cause FOMO to save their company from going bankrupt. Nice try bitmain, that worked last year but 2018 is way different.

This shit ain't sold out. Especially with 25 percent added tariff's and a far superior DCR miner comming out from. Whatminer, plus obelisk DCR going online. I would not touch bitmain DCR with a 10 feet pole.

If you want DCR that badly just buy the damn coin. You'll get more units more so than what a miner can ever generate . Crypto is risky enough and mining is even riskier with no reward potential with current increasing mining difficulty and oversupply of miners.

If your the guy that bought a bitmain DCR you just went full retard.
sold out of first batch.....second batch has been up since launch so they're not sold out at all.

My batch 2 mini started off OK t 675 or so, but after days it went down, and now it's clear down to 662 or so, testing that now.
