what is merge mining is this coin capable for that like Doge, also i see on bitcoin affiliate network they do merge mining with NMC and DOGE if iam not mistaken Doge is scrypt only whereas NMC and BTC are SHA256?

LiteDoge is now pure PoS, so no, it's not merge-minable.

This generally happens if multiple wallets found a block at the same time. Only one gets accepted by the network, and in this case, yours didn't.

When will LTC/LDOGE be opened? One LDOGE should not be worth more then 1 sats. I hope that Bittrex open the LTC market again, else next week there will not be any threads. This coin offer nothing new.

Why do you ask that when you know there are alternative pairs market with LTC/LDOGE. Do you want to pretend to be stupid or you are stupid?  Grin

Next week there will only be a market LTC/LDOGE as BTC/LDOGE will be 1 sats, that is why i ask. Mark my words...

But if you escrow'd the ICO if there was one, you'd be all over this..................

In some ways that's a valid point. I don't reckon this one is going to plummet that hard, not given how much hash was put onto it, but that does depend on how useful it becomes too. If it has no purpose other than exchanging for other coins, then yeah, outside of pump&dumps it hasn't got much value. On the other hand, if more applications for it come out, it could be very valuable.

An ICO is one thing that helps give it value, because those that invested won't want to see it drop too far. In some ways it could also act as an indicator of what people think the coin is worth, and indeed, a major component of any currency's value is what people believe its value is. However, the lack of one certianly isn't a guaranteed failure.

what about the bolt does it light up none of the icons there are hoverable or clickable?

Just mouseover on the lightning icon, it will either tell you that you dont have mature coins yet, or it will show your stake weight and estimated time to earn a PoS block.

"not staking because you don't have mature coins"   how longs that take im almost up to 2 mil coins and been mining since creation, Is anyone else out there able to stake yet?

You need to have had your coins for 8 hours without spending them, even if you have some left over. (Technically "don't spend them at all" isn't quite accurate, but if you don't understand how staking works, it's a good guideline to use for now.)

What's up with Suprnova? Something about a problem backend or something?

Pools often tend to have intermittent issues liek this with new coins. Suprnova has one of the best reputations out there, and I can pretty much guarantee they'll get it working again.
Ya but all my hash is there right now so I'm wondering if I should switch pools for the time being?

I wouldn't worry. As it says, your shares and hashrate are safe; it's only payouts that aren't working until it's fixed. (Which, for the record, it seems it's already fixed.) (EDIT: Or maybe not. Still; everything's safe, they just can't pay out your balance for the time being.)

Hallo wie wird mein windows wallet syncron?

I don't speak German, but I'm going to guess you're asking about why the wallet won't sync?

What you need to do is go to your Roaming AppData folder (by typing %APPDATA% into the address bar in any folder window), find the "litedoge" folder, and create a file "litedoge.conf" in it. Add these lines to it using any text editor:

addnode=45.56.117.191
addnode=212.71.254.189

Save it, and restart the wallet. It should sync fine after this.

Wallet appears to have the same issue the Hansa wallet had; in that if "Minimize to tray" is enabled but "Minimize on close" is not, it acts as if *both* are enabled.

We're currently in one of the block ranges with a large reward (though not as much so as blocks 8k-9k), so most likely we're going to see a LOT of dumping around now. Once those are past, I'm willing to bet the price'll go up a bit, especially if the coin becomes usable for something other than just trading.

Might be a good time to snatch up coins the miners are dumping on the cheap...

It appears we have two coins "Xaucoin" (this one) and "Xaurum", both with the symbol "XAU". At the very least I'd contact all major exchanges that might list either (or both) of them to let them know to warn users about this, otherwise it's likely to harm both coins...

I had listed a small amount (about 10% of what I mined, I think) on AlCurex, at prices lower than anyone else was selling but above mining cost. Didn't sell. Mostly just aiming to make back mining costs so I could hold the rest without risk. Now that we've hit a larger exchange, I think I might hold everything for a while though.

Hmm...
I will mine this if the dev insists on all exchanges allowing trading it only with DogeCoin. Tongue

Nah, I'll probably mine it either way.

I'd like to mine this, but Qubit rig rentals are a tad too pricey for my liking... I guess we'll see what I can get out of my GPU for this, probably a negligable amount (hashrate about 700KH/s) but we'll see if that adds up to anything...

EDIT: Yeah, negligable. Suprnova admin: Please feel free to take the 1/10th or whatever of an ASC I've mined as a donation to the pool. Smiley

Block rewards continue to rise. It will all balance out over the course of the PoW. Keep your eye on the pools and rentals.

Nah, I meant as in my hashrate isn't enough to make it worthwhile trying to mine it. I might keep an eye on rental prices, though...
I really need to get myself a proper mining rig... but fat chance I'll be able to afford it anytime soon. xD

The underlying concept may be, but that depends how affordable hashing power is by then. If you can't make more than a block is worth, it's not worthwhile. Transaction fees on blocks these days seem to be at most about 1.5% of the block reward, and even then, mining is considered unprofitable for many. Of course, if Bitcoin is used more widely, the transaction fees will increase in volume (and thus in total value), too.

As for literally Bitcoin itself, I'd be very surprised if SHA256 isn't broken within the next hundred years, either by simply something no one noticed before, or by computers becoming powerful enough that brute-forcing SHA256 is negligable.

As for this coin? Let's hope to see it go up! Cheesy

I'd say, give it a fair bit of warning before relaunch. If you were to just relaunch very soon, that'd almost be a ninja relaunch IMO...
