Re: Risks
by
henmark
on 11/09/2025, 14:21:02 UTC
Judging the risk is half of the work, that's why most people fail at that level. You have to calculate the risk/reward ratio very carefully and if you do a good job then you are going to get what you want, but if you do a terrible job then you are not going to get what you need. Most of the time people make a mistake in that part and because they make a mistake, they end up with bad results as well.

For example, they risk too much for too little reward potential, but they do not calculate well, either the risk part or reward part, they either think a high risk is actually low, and make a mistake, or they think reward could be higher than what it will be. That is why they end up with bad results, and they need to do this better if they want to be a good trader.
Not learning from mistakes is another one as well. I understand that risk/reward ratio calculation and failing to calculate that properly is one of the biggest ones, but after they make a mistake and buy something that has high risk and low reward, then they should learn to do better.

Unfortunately there are so many who make that mistake and then keep doing the same mistake. A great example would be memecoin people, they invest, and they lose it all, and then they invest again, for what reason? Because they ended up with seeing some influencers or some stranger online make some huge returns on some silly shitcoin. Just because one in a million people got lucky, doesn't mean you should risk your money too. So learning from mistakes is a big one too.

This big news went under radar here. Nimo tai bhagwan ka roop dharan kar rahi hai lower/middle class ke liye. She gets trolled a lot but to be fair to her, she's doing her best since Covid. If we ignore Bitcoin- crypto bill thingy, she's doing some real work for majority of people.

Pehle no tax upto 12.75 lakh aur ab gst 2.0 reform.
She is really thinking about the middle class, I totally agree with this. Even the bitcoin-crypto bill was passed only considering that top wealthy class deals with cryptos. She will tax those individuals but in terms of middle class, she will really give it a thought. Yes, she was trolled like hell but what I feel is these wealthy people started trolls after they saw they were being targeted.

Even this is a big relief for corporate employees whose packages are below 12.75 lakhs. All they have to pay is professional tax of around 200rs to 400rs every month which is really not that bad.

Re: Traders or Gamblers? Most of Us Don’t Know Which One We Are
by
henmark
on 08/09/2025, 17:36:08 UTC
Trading is majorly based on luck and we should not forget about luck have been helping making gamblers to hit jackpot without full awareness they could gamble and make huge winnings. There are some bets that requires a lot to skills like poker and other related ones. Games like slots majorly relies on luck for you to keep making profits and when you don't have adequate luck to bring winnings for yourselves, then you might end up struggling to make profits trying to bet frequently which can lead to severe addiction that might be hard to reliquinsh.
Trading is not majorly based on luck, but gambling is. Trading mostly about knowledge and experience, because even if the market is not totally predictable, you can still know or at least have an idea about how it is going to react at a certain point, and you can utilize that info to make successful trades. Besides, trading is not like gambling where you decide the betting amount, press a button, and boom, you have either lost the money or won double or more the amount you had risked. In trading, you have tools such as stop-loss, that can mitigate the risks involved.

This is why I don't agree that trading is majorly based on luck. Yes, there are some types of trading that can be compared to gambling, such as binary trading, but that is actually gambling in another sense, because you are basically betting on the outcome of the market, and not actually buying or storing assets, which isn't trading in technical senses. Trading is when you buy and sell real assets, from the market, that are up for sale or are being bought by real people on the other end.

This is complete chaos and SA are still chasing some worst record but good thing is they already won this ODI trophy so they lost anything other than just a humiliating win from the Englishmen.

And you are right this now stands as the biggest ODI defeat by margin and also SA's second lowest ODI total in the history.
No understanding their strategy as second series win and second worst ever defeat for them, they needed to be thought about this because this always have serious impact on player's mentality in second ODI England done good resistance, but South Africa win this game by narrow margin but in third ODI things were completely out of context.

34 years old Yorkshire legend Joe Root score his 19th ODI century with the help from Jacob Bethell who score his madden century, and they score 414 in 50 overs but in reply South Africa bundled out on 72 just 3 batsmen able to touch double-digit Jofra Archer and Adil Rasheed done good damage and have won by highest ever margin for England this consolation win is going to be good boost for England for t20 series which is going to start on 10th September.

I really don't think so until we get rid of poverty which is quite difficult because of the population. Also the current super powers have a grid and will not let their positions slip away. India is definitely showing great progress every year still might be far away from becoming a super power.

I don't think we really want to become a superpower. We are quite happy as we are and have gained a respect around the globe. India has friendly relations with most superpowers so why to take their place when we can be friends with them?

Re: Crypto casinos are shutting down in India!
by
henmark
on 07/09/2025, 15:45:53 UTC
I was actually pretty sure this will happen sooner or later. Crypto casinos are closed business where sun don't shine for the government. They can hardly keep a track of the earnings as we can easily move the earnings and make it untraceable. Government will end up being fooled around while we don't pay any taxes on the earnings. This will be a big no-no for our government so they would never allow this to happen.

Government will start targeting all crypto based services as well so it is better to move your funds around or choose a decentralized services where you don't have to reveal your country of residence.

It's good to read some motivation but still it depends on individual's capability and capacity to mitigate failure. As rightly said, failure is the key to success. No one can achieve success without facing failures. Failures are really tough and not only effect financially but also mentally.

A lot of people will treat failure as their end of an era but that is just a beginning to a better future. You should not be afraid of failure instead should be strong enough to face failures and overcome them.

Failure in trading can be devastating as we might even loose all of our savings. Coming back is a key to success not will more money but with knowledge and skills which were taught by failure in the first place.

Updated the thread kinda. What is everyones point atm on the latest price actions. I am curious.

My personal opinion is that we've bottomed around here. We might see some spikes here and there to take up liquidations, but I see us moving up from here on.

Again, I am gonna hold and not gonna sell. I bought the absolute bottom (I pray I did). I know my ego is super big right now, but come in here and let's talk I litterly don't care if u were against me at first.

The biggest buy signal is if we retest 18k. You heard it here first folks.
Don't mind but I really don't think 18k is possible anymore. I see a good upward trend considering the price action for a couple of months. Bitcoins are gaining some momentum in a couple of days after staying above $105k and are not able to break the support. Next resistance levels are quick up and show a positive sign. Even I won't sell right now. Holding & patience will be the key to enjoy the bull ride. I really want to experience a good bull run so I can tell the next generation how everything is possible in the world of cryptos where even after a good pump & holding the pump, came another big pump.

If you don't mind, how did you end up on 18k as bottom line? I'm pretty sure there will be blood bath even if bitcoin crashes below $50k. So $18k almost seems impossible. But yes, I've heard it first from you so if in case we see 18k, you'll have my huge respect.

Re: Crypto adoption in India seems to be moving fast
by

on 05/09/2025, 15:40:32 UTC
When bitcoin hits mainstream media for its ATH or bulk buying by microstrategy or by Elon Musk etc, I have watched Indian media as well covering about bitcoin and then people around me start asking about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Right now, 30+% taxation on profits of crypto investments actually dragging backward the interest on crypto investments from new adaptors.

People need to realize that we need to pay 20% tax on short term profits from stock market then why not 30% tax on crypto profits? I mean, India is already too heavy on taxation hence cryptos cannot be an exception.

Overall, regulation has been blocking down the adaption rate in India still I agree on a bullish year we can see more people do get into crypto space.

Re: Is a University Degree Still Worth Anything?
by
henmark
on 21/07/2025, 12:45:42 UTC
Getting a university degree doesn't guarantee success in this generation that's the reason why a lot of people don't value it anymore. Acquiring education is an achievement, it improves your IQ and your level of reasoning, it also helps you know how to interact with others. But you need to think of learning a high paying skill to make money, relying on your certificate to get you a job might be disappointing
Here I want to say I am not against university degree because it has his own authenticity in few countries it's important for having job or good post but still without skills you have not good way or earning because without skills life never go on track.

In many countries if you have degree but not know about any skills they will never give you any job, or you will have no better way or earning it's always important technical institutes or school without having skills are just like bread without curry.

I personally know many youngsters those are having good education, but sadly they fail to achieve their goals because they were not well aware about ground realities or market sentiments which give them setback, and they lost many years for having experience in this.

Re: Should I Get a Loan?
by
henmark
on 06/02/2025, 05:54:10 UTC
Well, my advice to you is to work for a while and raise the money you'd want to use to trade. Borrowing money to do this is actually a bad idea unless you have a plan to pay back in case it doesn't work out as planned. As traders we all have our strategies that works perfectly fine for us but that doesn't mean you should always expect them to work, the market is full of surprises and at any time you should be ready to incur losses. Ask yourself, is this risk worth taking? Would you be able to deal with the consequences of defaulting when you fail to pay back the loan?
This is the best option always keeps safety first because if you fail things can go on worst situation which are surely not good try to understand ground reality and then jump into work with just earn money and then enter in trading world because it's full of surprises and have enough volatility which can eat quickly, and you never know when you will be able to stand back.

Everyone is love to live with his own strategy while things are needed more analysis and search which are most important if you are 100% then still you need to keep emotions under control and never trust on things which are looking good because these can take seconds for have changes. Bankruptcy is always brought consequences which are never been easy to handle just avoid all things on any cost which are having enough risk which are not easily handleable.

Re: How long does it take to become a Blockchain Developer?
by
henmark
on 03/02/2025, 17:19:52 UTC
No one can provide exact and correct answers to your questions because things will always be different for different people. To become a blockchain developer, you must be a developer first because it's important to be a programmer if you want to become a developer in any programming language.

When you ask how long it is going to take and whether 6 hours a day is enough for it or not, I would say that it depends on what you currently do and also what you like in general. You can't become a gamer if you hate playing games. Similarly, you can't become a blockchain developer if you don't have a general interest in the field and in technology as well.

It also depends on how sharp you are. Some people might learn a thing within a day, but for some, it might take them a week.

Until you deposit cash, you are allowed to withdraw cryptos.

It means, if you deposit cash to exchange, your crypto withdraw will be disabled; then you will have only cash withdraw option.

You need to use P2P, to buy crypto for cash from India. Here, you should not deposit cash to exchange but you need to transfer cash to seller's bank account, then cryptos will be credited to your account which are ready to withdraw to your personal address.

You may do these with binance, kucoin and paxful from India.

Being a buyer you do not need to pay 1% TDS but make sure about recent requirements/changes because these were all what I learned from wazirx. I have used kucoin P2P but stopped after their compliances with India law.

Paxful is not compliant with India (hence no TDS) but to open a buy order, I guess you need equivalent balance in your account. (Not sure how it will work for an all-new-beginner of crypto space).

I suggest not to use a regulated exchange to buy crypto from India to avoid future hassles. Better buy from your known friends. Or, use P2P platforms like Paxful (to use paxful you need to clear KYC with your phone number and documents). Or buy from this forum users through escrow.

Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season
by
henmark
on 07/01/2025, 14:35:51 UTC
Real Madrid at this moment knows that every point counts in their quest to progress to the next round of the competition? A home game against Salsburg I think will be an easy one for Carlo Ancelotti's men to get all three points. The quality of players at Real Madrid can't be matched by that of Salsburg, and now that Real Madrid knows they might fail to progress to the knockout stages of the competition, you should expect nothing but their very best in that game. My prediction is that Real Madrid will win that game as well as register 2+ goals.
That would be nice to bet on if you are quite sure of that outcome. Because the probability of happening may be indeed high as they have the motivation to achieve such position. But don't bet high stakes as you can't still guarantee the results. Be conservative with the amount of your bet even if you feel you will hit it right.
Real Madrid is now back into their business while they won their two games even things were not favourable for them against Valencia but still they have done good job and go through till last minute now we have few big games in coming days while we will have Real Madrid could be at his best because now there is no room for giving space and having any poor result we will be having good punishment for the Salzburg while going 2+ is surely good best because I am also feeling they can score good number of goals which will give them good confidence for their last game against Brest in France.

Carlos Ancelotti is one of the best in business, and he understands how to go through for big wins when they needed to be on wrong side January is going to be good for the Real Madrid while they will be having few good games which will give them good boost and chance of keeping things on top.

South Africa are in top position current score is 293 runs in a loss of three wickets. South Africa outstanding batting after losing first thre wickets. ryan rickelton batting performance is amazing as scored a well deserved one hundred fifty and currently playing at 170 runs very close to his double century. Temba Bavuma Captain of South Africa also playing well scored a well deserved century and playing at 105 runs. The fourth wicket partnership between Temba Bavuma and ryan rickeltonis more then 200 runs Pakistan bowlers failed to break this partnership and South Africa are very close to 300 mark. from Pakistan Khurram Shahzad and Muhammad Abbad picked one, one wickets. Salman Ali agha spinner also picked the wicket of Tristan Stubbs at duck.
After every success now South Africa is gaining more confident and things are getting impressive for them after having mix first session we see a complete control of game into their hands which allow them to have good end of first days proceedings we have 316 runs in 80 overs Temba Bavuma have good end with century inning and double century partnership with Ryan Rickelton 176 not out they punished inexperienced Pakistani bowlers which were completely clueless in both session of first day play.

But at the end, a big wicket still for them which give them some relief but now most chances we will have problems for Pakistan with Saim Ayub is injured, and their other batsmen have no enough experience of playing in these conditions which will help South Africa for ending this series with the result of 2–0 good start of 2025 for them.

Re: Turkish Super League 2024/25 Season
by
henmark
on 23/12/2024, 10:02:30 UTC
Galatasaray if you ask made one of the smartest moves during the summer transfer window by signing Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen on loan. Today in the Galatasaray's convincing win at Kayserispor, Osimhen scored yet another brace to take his total goal tally of the season to 12 goals in 15 matches for the Turkish champions. If Victor Osimhen continues to stay fit,  I don't think there's anything that'll stop Galatasaray from retaining the league title this season.
Definitely a great deal in my books. I was shocked when the news about Galatasaray signing him on loan broke out — I know they have strikers like Icardi and Batshuayi but Victor Osimhen was definitely a great deal for them.

Galatasaray will definitely win the title because the only contender is Fenerbahce and Fenerbahce have been mediocre this season albeit a few promising results.
Bringing Osimhen in Turkey and now having good chance of winning another title is surely the biggest achievements for them with after 16 rounds we have no defeat for them, and they are clearly leading league table by 8 points mean things are well under control for next half of season while we have 20 matches remaining and Galatasaray can go through without losing anything even they are having injuries issue but now with the services of Osimhen they are not worried about anything.

Fenerbahçe fails to bring improvement despite having José Mourinho and Besiktas is also going down which is giving open room to leaders Galatasaray for staying at top and enjoying wins huge margin like they have in last game against relegation zone team Kayserispor with score of 1–5.

Re: will Argentina follow El Salvador?
by
henmark
on 15/12/2024, 14:38:33 UTC
This is unexpected since we rarely hear news from this country, especially their movements or plans about BTC but this is great that they are now considering BTC too just like El Salvador and others out there because after El Salvador, I heard that there are then one and two countries that follow their footsteps. So that was 3 in total who made BTC a legal tender and Argentina is going to be 4th in the list.

Bitcoin is having an amazing property that is beneficial for those who adopt it, so yeah, definitely it can as well help a struggling country or its economy. This is the reason why many countries now are into BTC but it is just that they don't make it a legal tender yet. I think that decision is not easy but they might still get there soon. We only had to wait for it.

Today we have first T20I between Sri Lanka vs New Zealand as I am expecting good and entertaining cricket both good sides which are having good development in last few months, but we have early setbacks for the Kiwis as they lost three wickets with just 34 runs on board Sri Lanka bowlers doing impressive job in power play and having early control of the game as well.

After win of toss New Zealand choose to bat first at the Dambulla, but we have good bowling from Dunith Wellalage and Nuwan Thushara who give early breakthrough to their team now Glenn Phillips and Michael Bracewell on crease for having some recovery, but things are not favourable for them to have decent target on board for having good end of this game.

Lineup is already completed for the semifinals of the event as now after few hours we have first match between Zheng vs Krejcikova in this match Zheng is hot favorite due to his recent form while odds are @1.44 even we can expect good resistance from the Krejcikova, but things are clearly favoring Zheng to go into final of this big prize money event.

After this we have second semifinal between Sabalenka vs Gauff here Sabalenka is favorite for the win, but things are not easy for her because Gauff is also doing good and have fair chance of win and go through for the final but mostly are expected we will have final between Zheng vs Sabalenka with Sabalenka is going to win this big prize event just few hours left in all coming out.
