Re: The End Of The Bounty.
by

I believe that this is not the end of bounty campaigns as long as there are lots of people out there who wants a business in crypto market. I also think that limiting participants in bounty campaigns is unacceptable, we all know here that all of us just wanted an extra source of income or investment so let's us be fair to everyone.

Re: How to Choose a Good ICO

I suggest you consider all the factors you have said, all of these are important for you to determine good ICOs. Nowadays, you have to check everything about their project because it is so risky to invest in these ICOs

Re: Market can be manipulated?
by

Latest article by www.wired.co.uk stated that a newspaper by researchers  at the University of Texas at Austin's department of finance indicates that someone at Bitfinex cryptocurrency exchange may have artificially inflated the price of coins including bitcoin, ether, and Zcash. The responsible for this appears to have been Tether, a cryptocurrency with the same CEO as Bitfinex.
What are your thoughts about this? Do you think they really manipulated the price? Is it possible?
If you don't think there was at least a LITTLE market manipulation then you haven't been in the crypto community for very long. I remember even back when I was just getting started in 2013 how there were incessant claims about the market being manipulated, along with all kinds of other arguments about who was doing it, if it was the whales, the exchanges, if the normal users could do anything to fight against it, all kinds of fun things. I could probably go back into my post history and find out just how often there were threads like that since I typically ended up involving myself in them.

The chances that the market was manipulated and that there were some things that happened because of that - which wouldn't have happened otherwise - is incredibly significant and honestly, in my opinion, nearly guaranteed. It's like with Mt.Gox in 2013; the market was manipulated, inflating the price, bringing Bitcoin into the forefront of the news cycle for a while. I personally got involved due to that manipulation, so it's not always bad.
Yeah I haven't been in crypto for a very long time, I've just joined last year and still continuing to learn. Anyways, thank you for the information I think I still need to read and read articles or news anything about crypto.

The game with prices exists in all markets. The stock market is no exception, where strict control and regulation. The crypto market is the best place for manipulation, where there is no control. So why not?
In the stock market, you would have been imprisoned for 10 years for such manipulations. I'm not a fan of them, but they are very strict about such manipulations. And on the crypto market, we can expect anything
I absolutely agree with you, I just don't get it why they have to manipulate the market.

For me, giving information like accounts or anything about yourself is not a solution to reduce scams or dumpers. Bounty participants like us would not trust anyone with our KYC information, there are so many ways nowadays to steal anyone's account so I can't agree with your opinion.

Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO?

Yes it is true that there are so many scammed ICOs out there but there are still ICOs that are not a scam. Investing in ICOs is very profitable so it is always a good time to invest in these projects. If you are thinking twice about investing in these projects, try to visit their website first and research about their teams I'm sure it will be very helpful for you to decide whether to invest or not.

Yes I will encourage them to understand crypto so that they would be aware that cryptocurrencies existed. And they would know how risky it is to invest their money in this kind of market.

Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward?
by
herlips
on 17/06/2018, 13:27:58 UTC
The duration of waiting depends on the campaign that you have joined. But waiting for 6 months is too long for me. Most of the campaigns needs 2 weeks to 1 month before distributing the token because they wait for the ICO or the soft cap.

Re: Bounty campaign - waste of time or great passive income?

Bounty campaigns are definitely not a waste of time if you have joined a successful project. I usually join campaigns of campaign manager that I only trust. By knowing trustworthy manager, you will be confident in the project that you are joining.

Yes I strongly agree with you, I don't understand why others confidently leave their job and just depends on bounty campaigns. All of us needs a stable source of income because there are so many unexpected expenses and we should not just depends on our free or reward tokens.

Holding ethereum for 5-10 years is a really great idea if you have fixed your mind or goal to invest your money for this long time. Just make sure you won't need that money and you believe in ethereum that it will higher after that long time.

Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency

Well for me, people who only wanted to earn money or to be rich also believe in cryptocurrency. Because if they don't believe in crypto, they won't be trusting in this to earn money and they would just treat it as a scam.

I am participating in bounty campaigns  and if I already received my reward I wanted to hold it for a while. If it is enough for me, I'll withdraw only a part of it and use it for my studies.

It depends on you when to sell or hold your tokens. If the value is still not enough for you then hold your tokens for a while and wait for it to increase.

If you have a strong feeling that the altcoins you have bought will still recover, then just hold it for a few months,  we never know you might still recover your capital. But if you feel that ot is just going down and down, sell now before you loose everything of your capital.

Re: Why invest in altcoin?

Putting a part of your money in altcoins is a good investment. It is cheaper than real estate and stock markets. Altcoins also have a faster rate of increasing its value. You can also use it in many transactions.
