I was one of the dummies that sent coins from Cryptopia to the new wallet
Below is the process I went through to get them back and am happy to say it worked without any issues!

1. download the old wallet (I did this on a separate machine that what the new wallet is running on)
2. create a new receiving address (this will be the OLD VERSION on the swap engine page)
3. copy the OLD VERSION receiving address to a notepad and then back up the wallet (we'll call this OLD.dat).. copy the backup to your desktop or other accessible location
4. close the wallet
5. delete the wallet.dat from the Appdata\roaming\score
6. copy the .dat from the new wallet (containing the receiving address that I sent coins to from Cryptopia) and pasted it into the \score folder (this receiving address will be the NEW VERSION on the swap engine page)
7. Wait like 30 secs and then open the wallet.. If the wallet is fully synced, you should see the full balance of coins that was sent from Cryptopia..
8. Send a small test amount (100 coins) to the OLD VERSION address that you created eariler and copied to the notepad
9. Wait for the transaction to get a couple confirmations
10. close the wallet
11. Copy the wallet.dat from the /score folder (this should be the .dat from the new wallet) and paste it on your desktop or somewhere easily accessible
12. Copy OLD.dat into the /score folder
13. Wait 30 seconds and open the wallet
14. You should see the 100 coin test transfer
15. Follow instructions here to perform swap: http://scorecoin.net/swapengine.html

Say, for example, someone is a n00b and just sent coins from cryptopia to the new wallet.

Would this person's coins be gone or are they recoverable?

I was having similar issue when updating to new wallet.. There would be a message asking me if I wanted to reorg the blocks on disk (or something along those lines) and then it would get to a certain point and then the wallet would hang and close.

I closed the wallet, removed everything except for the wallet.dat (you should def back up your wallet.dat if you have not already) from the zcoin folder and restarted the wallet.. downloaded the entire chain and synced up, no problem

I would not recommend to use CPU to mine.  EQT using x11 algo.. There are ASICs for x11, so makes CPU/GPU completely worthless to mine with

How do I install/upgrade new wallet?

1. backup your wallet ( wallet.dat ) to a safe location
2. Navigate to C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Buzz
3. delete everything in the BuzzCoin folder except wallet.dat
4. delete any old Buzz QT wallets from the computer
5. download the latest wallet and bootstrap from website: http://www.buzzcoin.info/
6. Unzip bootstrap (this should give you a single folder)
7. Open that folder and copy all files and folders inside to %Appdata%\BuzzCoin folder
8. Open the wallet
9. add nodes
   click help > debug window > console
   addnode 51.15.95.128 add
   addnode 138.68.47.202 add
10. Wait 5-10 minutes and you'll start syncing


I upgraded but my total balance is incorrect.  Where are my missing coins?
   Click help > debug window > console
   type in: repairwallet
   You will receive a weird error
   Wait 5-10 mins and if your balance doesn't update, close and re-open wallet

Nice! This worked for me.. It was stuck on a block for about 10 minutes when I first opened the wallet but then it synced no problem.

At first, wallet was only showing a portion of my balance.  Ran wallet repair and am now able to see full balance!

I believe it was a maximum fee of 50k per transfer.. so if you transferred 10million coins, instead of getting charged 25% of that (2.5mil), you will only be charged 50k

But from the latest dev update, it looks like the 25% fee is being removed

Thanks, gave that a shot but ended up in the same boat as ElDyablo999.. 1 year 36 weeks behind.. stuck on block 273.. reckon we'll just wait for the new wallet

Hmm.. yea i downloaded latest version and extracted bootstrap and nodes into correct folder as suggested on website but wallet is now showing out of sync.. Looks to be stuck on block 742850.. I'll let it go for a while and see if it catches up

Wallets all in maintenance mode

Was receiving regular stakes.. Have not received any staking rewards for a little over 24 hours.. Any one else having this issue?

Just upgraded to new wallet.. synced in just a few mins.. staked coins from yesterday (and pending from today) are showing in balance on new wallet
