Many people just buy some Bitcoin and let it sit waiting for an eventual price rise. Some do trading, they will buy cryptos and them trade them in one of the trading site available.

I believed the one that can be hacked is the owner's wallet where the bitcoin is stored. There's so many phishing method in the internet that use by the hacker to obtain access to our wallet.

Re: How to control greed on gambling?

As i know gambling is all about luck and how to control my greed, except sportbetting (of course need skill and strategy).

I have experience in gambling (casino), somtime i hit big only with faucet or free money and i can withdraw from that. but because my greed i always want more and more, then i'll come again with my money as bankroll. Bet more and hope win more, but because of that i'll lose my money little by little and usually i'll stop after my bankroll to be "0". I call that with greed.
Anyone here have any suggestion to control my greed? Let me know.

Actually you doesn't need any advices and suggestions here to control your greed. It's you after all and the moment you asked questions like that, you already popped out from the usual manner when playing gambling.

You noticed that you are too much greedy in your gambling activity meaning you noticed that your money is losing at all. You realized it now and you care now for your future actions. How to control it? You already know the answer and doesn't need spiritual advice here. Good luck.

I agree with you. But here's a tip. Set a limit when you gamble, for example you will set 3 limits, if you reached one of those limit then STOP gambling for that day.

Re: If bitcoin owner die. It means bitcoin also lost forever?

I just got this question in my mind. What will happen if no one knows about the pasword of his/her acount will it posibly deduct to the main supply of bitcoin? Example bitcoin was 21million supply and one man got 1 million bitcoin he was holding and suddenly he died no one can open his wallet is it posible that the remaining 20 million bitcoin forever?

If the person die and no one from his/her family know the private key or the password. There is no way they can get or use the bitcoin of the deceased.

Re: Bitcoin or gold?

Because bitcoin is crowdsourced, its value is dependent on community participation while Gold is a Precious Metal used by mankind as a medium of exchange for millennia. It is also useful in technology and manufacturing, and is appreciated for its beauty in the form of jewelry, art and keepsakes. so i choose gold over bitcoin.

Re: Bitcoin or Altcoins? Which is safer or more profitable?

Long Term: Bitcoins
Short Term: Altcoins

Bitcoins is the first cryptocurrency, and that makes it the most trusted and used amongst all the other altcoins, so its the most safe to get hold of. However, since the price is so high right now, don't expect it to increase tenfold in the next few years as it would be a little unrealistic, but possible though.

Altcoins, or Initial Coin Offerings (ICO), can have potential if researched upon, which makes it more profitable, however, there are many scamcoins revolving about ICOs and altcoins, making it more risky than having Bitcoin.

It is up to you, but if you are new to BTC, I suggest getting some Bitcoin first. Smiley

Bitcoin has already proven and tested. More and more merchants are now accepting bitcoin as payment method.

Re: Why use Bitcoins ?

Bitcoin is not only a vessel to store value but it's also really useful in the remittance industry. I can send 100,000$ paying a mere 4$ in fees with Bitcoin while it would cost me 3000$ with PayPal and I'd take some risk to do the paypal transaction while doing the same thing from a traditional bank would cost some money, time & would probably raise questions.

We can also transact using bitcoin anonymously, so our identity is secure. instead of going to bank to process payment or to send money. We can do that using bitcoin online.

Since we can anonymously transact with other person using bitcoin as payment, it may lead to crime like buying drugs and other illegal transactions. It was being used nowadays in the dark web, bitcoin as mode of payment.

Re: When to buy and sell bitcoin
by

buy bitcoin when the price is low and sell it if the price increases. Bitcoin is volatile so no one can predict when or how much the price will change
