How will the user pay for the required amount of space? How many megabytes do you borrow for so much and pay or will there be tariffs?

Storj DCS is already in production. Customers can pay with credit card or with STORJ token, which would also result in a 10% bonus being applied to the account balance.

Why would someone hold STORJ tokens? I am asking myself this more and more.
As a customer to use their service you can pay in USD. So there is no need for this token then??

Is there a good writeup about the tokenomics of the Storj network?

Customers will be offered a discount if they elect to pay with STORJ tokens. I suggest you read our blog to find articles describing the economic model such as https://storj.io/blog/2018/12/an-overview-of-tokens-uses-flows-and-policies-at-storj-labs/.

We are at the end of May. I still didn't receive payment for March and April. What is going on?
Yes, really disappointing. Seems like things completely slowed down since they collected a lot of money in the token sale. Sad

I invite you to actually check the github activity if you doubt the amount of actual activity going on with the new Storj network being built right now https://github.com/storj/storj/

Please also attend the upcoming Townhall meeting on June 5 where you can voice your concerns as the team will be answering questions. You can follow the Storj twitter handle @storjproject to get the link to the townhall live stream.

Re: [ANN] Age of Rust - Blockchain Adventure Game w/ RUSTBITS and GAME CARDS

hi dev, can i ask if where to trade or exchange rustbits token? is it already listed on other exchange? please give me details. thanks,

Yes, as previously stated, just the dex for now. If another decentralized exchange shows up for counterparty, that would be great.  While we've reached out to other exchanges, there's only a few that take counterparty and they don't take requests (tux) or respond to requests (like bittrex or poloniex).

While I love counterparty because it's easy to develop on and use, there might come a point where we need to move to another type of token on a different blockchain. Simply because people want to buy the tokens and cards using Eth and Bitcoin and the counterparty DEX makes it hard to do that since you have to buy XCP before hand. So it's not easy for players... We certainly wouldn't change anything without a thoughtful token conversion process, plus with the game rewards in Bitcoin and the game engine in bitcoin, moving to something like Ethereum would be a fundamental change that would set back things considerably.

No need to switch to another chain just in order to be able to trade game assets or rustbits directly for BTC. This is now possible with the new integration of BTCpay in the freewallet.io implementation of the Counterparty DEX. Those that already have donated to this wallet's donation address or bought one of the dev's Rare Pepe Cards called XCHAINPEPE now have full access to BTCpay and simplified trading on the DEX from inside freewallet. If you have not yet donated to development of this wallet, please do so now and enjoy the advantages of the new additions.

so no presale , just bounty and ICO ?

whats the hard cap? i see you guys already have invested $2million in the project. what value will our money bring to you?
patiently waiting for the reply

you can find all the details in the Whitepaper. It is listed on the website bananacoin.io  It shows how much money they need to raise to expand the total cultivated surface by 360 ha. something like a little over $7 million USD equivalent in BTC and ETH needs to be raised. So depending on the price of each token sold, will be how many BCO will be the total cap in the end. Note some 1 million tokens were sold a $0.25 each on the presale already, and some 600,000 more tokens on private sale (not sure exactly at what price). The price at the ICO will be $0.50.

what are the benefits for potential investors?

Why invest in BananaCoin
Bananacoin is the world's first blockchain option for investing in the production of organic bananas in Vientiane province, the Lao PDR.

-The deficit of export of bananas to China is estimated at 30,000 hectares, the consumption growth is increasing and more Chinese plantations are being closed for the use of chemistry
-The price of token Bananacoin is protected by the cost of one kilogram of bananas
-Having invested in Bananacoin you have the opportunity to get a minimum of 100% profit of the project implementation
-Our business is completely transparent, we have already passed all stages of its development and consider ourselves to be professionals in it
-Bananacoin is a full-fledged financial instrument that will be freely traded on the exchange
-Every investor has the right to personally visit our plantations in Vientiane province, the Lao PDR
-Our business is easy to scale and it is growing into a serious player in the Asian fruit market
-Cultivated variety of bananas Finger Lady is the most expensive and the most popular on the Chinese market

hii bananteam.... when this ico will start?
theres no information about that on bananacoin.io

according to this site, the ICO will start on Nov 29 and end on Dec 30. https://icotracker.net/upcoming

I love the concept of going from abstract to concrete. It also make ICO's more reliable
Yeah. This is a realized project, not just an idea, as many of ICOs
Banana is a coin - it's just a refuge of money. These are normal projects with normal profitability and risk. The greed and desire of the X's will lead to a complete loss of capital. This is the law of the market.
Wow, that's a nice quote. Expresses a comprehensive understanding of the project
Thanks, it took me for a while to read telegram chat and translate the message
Personally, I like projects of this kind (linked to the real sector of the economy) very much, BUT, I invest only in those of them that assume a share in the business.
And is banana coin one of them?
Not quite. But I recommend it to friends who are interested in agriculture
Honestly this looks like a mess thread and just full of paid spammers Smiley Im not knew to this. But anyway i hope the dev can scam more people. I don't believe in your project in the first place my questions before has no answered at all. What a team .

Please repost your original question that you say did not get answered. I have not seen the organizers of this project intentionally leaving any questions unanswered. However if you already decided this is a scam (which it is not) I suggest you go troll elsewhere.

Actually, I think that those that participate in the private sale going on now will get some shares in the business or something similar.

It is already known on which exchanges will the tokens of this company be traded?
While I have not seen any information about this
This will be known only in October
Well, what about the big investments? If I am willing to invest a large amount, how can I do this? Can I put fiat money into this project?

There is a private sale for such big investors advertised right now on the website https://bananacoin.io and you can just follow the instructions to get in touch directly with the founders to discuss your investment. Also they are available to chat on the telegram group where you can send them a DM.

If I invest in a project, can I visit the plantation as a guest?

The founders of this project have repeatedly stated that anyone is welcome to visit the plantation, as long as they advise sufficient time ahead of arrival when they plan to come so that arrangements can be made for giving you the tour and to get instructions how to find the place and accomodations to the visitors. Apart from that, they did hold a lottery among the pre-sale participants already and will give the 3 winners that were randomly chosen a free trip to visit the place and then show everyone a video of that visit and testimony of the winners so everyone can see this is a real existing and working plantation not a scam.

is it you have fields other than in china country? I suggest if the business is successful and many people are interested in investing. would be great if dev increase the number of their fields. Southeast Asian region is an endemic region for banana crops. almost impossible for dead banana trees or crop failures in the Southeast Asia land. so the risk that you will get smaller if you have banana fields in Southeast Asia. just a suggestion dude

The plantation is located in Laos, not China. The market is in China. Chinese plantations are using too many toxic pesticides which is why they were shut down by the Laos government recently, which opens an opportunity fot this project to step in and take their place with organically grown bananas. There is great demand for bananas in China that cannot currently be filled by supply. So in fact the company is holding the ICO exactly with the goal of expanding their current acreage that they already have under cultivation to around 4 times the surface area. Laos is already located in Southeast Asia, so that part is already covered also. All this is described in the documentation and youtube videos you can find linked on the website.

In which countries do you plan to export your product?
They say that the only market is China, then it is possible to expand into Japan
And why China, and not any other country?
In China at the moment, the deficit of this variety of bananas, many plantations have been closed due to the use of chemical fertilizers, which are harmful. The founders of this project, trying to fill an empty niche, and produce an environmentally friendly product
And where are the guarantees that this plantation will not use fertilizers? If you do not use fertilizer, then there will be no harvest, it's easy. After all, not just as they are used by other plantations

There are no rules against using organic fertilizers to produce organic bananas. The plantation operators use bat guano as fertilizer, as they have stated in the documentation that they have published about this project. Also, they already have produced 3 years worth of successful harvests on their current 100 ha plantation so I would guess that they are quite capable of knowing what organic fertilizers will give the plants the needed nutrients and minerals to produce a good yield.

The founders of this project say that I, as an investor, can visit the plantation, and see the whole process of growing and production alive. If I invest now, then how soon can I do their plantation?
To begin with, you need to successfully complete the ICO phase, then engage in land development and construction, and only after that you can visit the plantations (if you believe their plans after April 2018), although I may be wrong
But they already have a working plantation (as far as I understand), can not I visit it if I invest?

Yes, you can visit us Smiley
After pre ICO stage, we organize a lottery among investors, three of whom can personally communicate with farmers in Laos.
I thought that every investor has the right to visit a plantation in Laos. it turns out to be some kind of lottery, you did not talk about it before. = (

They will give away trips to the plantation to 3 Pre-ICO participants, and you can also feel free to come and visit at any time if you don´t win the lottery. Just be sure to let them know a bit ahead of time when you plan to visit so they can make arrangements for you to find the location and for accomodations.

Bananas? Come on, is it profitable? Around so many interesting, promising, progressive projects, and you invest in bananas!

I suggest you actually read the whitepaper and other materials provided on the website at https://www.bananacoin.io before coming to that conclusion. The company has been successfully farming 100 ha of banana plantation organically to get a competitive edge in the chinese exportation market for 3 years already. This is not a vaporware ICO as many others that are based on some possibly great ideas that may or may not turn into anything tangible or profitable at all. The founders are transparent with providing data to back up their claims. No need to ridicule the project solely based on the choice of crop they made. There are many successful commercial banana plantations in many countries around the world. The innovation here is the manner of fundraising chosen to finance the expansion of the existing plantations acreage based on unfilled demand in the chinese market, while allowing people from around the world to participate, not just some small group of big VCs or local funding agencies that each would want to get a say in the projects decision making process.

I suggest we give this project a chance to shine and wait with the FUD and complaining until when there are milestones missed or communication from the team suddenly grinds to a halt (as has happened with many other ICO funded projects that got people exited at first and then turned out to be duds).

Banana is my favorite fruit. what is the allocation of funds from this project to cultivate a banana plantation?
I want to know more about this project like plantation where etc.

The project is in Laos, Vientiane province. Funds will be used to expand the area under banana cultivation by 360%.

You can find all the pertinent information in the whitepaper https://www.bananacoin.io/files/Bananacoin_Eng_wp_1.4.pdf and on their website at https://www.bananacoin.io/
