Re: What will happen when 1 satoshi is $ 1?
by

when 1 satoshi is 1$ people will pay more attention to filling faucets as a major source of bitcoin and more people will be attracted to bitcoins and people with bitcoins in their wallet will become richer.
Actually once satoshi's price goes that high then probably there would be no faucet anymore except for altcoin faucets. How can you supply a bitcoin faucet on which the lowest to be putted is 1$?
If 1 satoshi is ever equal to $1 then you sig. spammers will have to post 10 times more gibberish to get your weekly $1 payout.
That's quite a depressing thought.  Cry
There would be few signature campaign by then so signature spammers may just need to join some altcoin campaign to earn those.

 That's even more depressing.
 Sig.spammer pooled shitposting.

What's the matter with them preferring shariah?

Did m0gliE and DooMAD just seriously suggest that it's completely acceptable to support a form of religious law that actively wants a huge number of people dead for who they are, what they were born as and what they choose to believe in and try to make fun of me for saying it's not acceptable?

There really is no hope for people like you if that's what you genuinely think, free expression does not give you the right to harm others you fucking deranged lunatics and that's exactly what supporting Sharia Law means.

You're the dumb archaic old fag here. Supporting sharia law doesn't mean that at all. Supporting sharia law is just supporting a different law system and as long as you conform to the law system chosen by the majority I don't care about what you prefer. Supporting Sharia law is not so different from supporting death penalty you dumbass.

Moreover, if a more and more important part of your population is supporting as archaic and stupid as Sharia law, you might question your education system especially as you're telling most pro Sharia are young muslims.

I've read this whole thread and was going to keep my mouth shut but for fuck sake m0glie ,you sure are confused.
Are you one of them SJW Trigglypuff's I've been hearing about? I'm waiting on you saying "take your hate speech off muh forum"
The UK voted to leave.
This is a democracy and the British people have voted.
That's how voting works.
You're not from the UK so you've got fuck all to say about it.
That's about it really.
I'm 1 of the old cunt's that voted to leave the E.U. and Sharia law had fuck all to do with it,.Economic decisions were the deciding fact for me.
The UK will never be ruled by any religious law.
We are a secular society.
Money talks and your SJW bullshit walk's.

Brexit majority in Wales. Just votes from Gwynedd to be counted, and Brexit is leading by almost 100,000 votes. The votes from the major cities can still change the results. Less than half of the votes from London have been counted. And Bremain won big in cities such as Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff, and Liverpool. BTW... Bremain won Northern Ireland by a good margin, and looks like they are going to win in Scotland.

Scotland can be outvoted by London alone so Scotland's vote is pretty meaningless really.(one of the historic thing's that piss Scot's like me off mightily  Grin).
Hopefully the majority of England will vote leave.  Grin

Hmm. You may have had more activity if you entitled your post "Evidence of Wright maybe being Satoshi" or some such.

I found it a compelling read too but it left me thinking he was a conman that tried to bite of more than he could chew.
It took me 5 minutes to learn how to verify my address by signing a message and I'm clueless with computers.
So it seems extremely fishy to me that Wright made such a palaver of providing proof.
And this "trust holding the bitcoins" business seems like it's straight out of a crappy b movie plot.

I didn't believe most of the libertarian/braveheart/anarchist shite that a lot of people on this site seemed to believe when I first started reading about Bitcoin.
I still don't.  Grin
I believe Bitcoin or something like it will eventually be the hidden backbone to the worlds financial systems.
Bitcoin is interesting to me and the more I learn then the more I'm interested.

I'ts been like a soap opera about the wild west so far,all the old scams are new again.
I'm waiting for the jailings to start.

Re: The only way for Bitcoin to catch on is through banks
by
hikedoon
on 07/06/2016, 21:19:42 UTC
I keep hearing the same old story that "Bitcoin was born as a currency not controlled by banks" and "banks aren't needed for someone to keep his Bitcoins". I'm sorry to hear this. The masses will never turn to Bitcoin if they have to use a computer and take care of their own money. In fact, the masses couldn't care less about a bank-free world and peer-to-peer money.

 BINGO!
I couldn't agree more with you.
Most people want simplicity over cleverness.
I've been getting blank stares for 2 and a half years from most people I mention Bitcoin to.
Can't really blame them as I was the same till I spent the time to read up on what Bitcoin really is rather than just taking the media's version of what
 Bitcoin is.
Started to just keep my mouth shut now.

Without Bitcoin I would have remained ignorant as to just how untrustworthy a lot of you computer geeks really are.
Thank you Satoshi Nakamoto. You opened up the eyes of this computer illiterate.

Ever wondered if the Bitcoin experiment is actually about seeing who can be turned into scheming rat-bastard,untrustworthy thieves?
Like that Eddy Murphy film "Trading Places".

 Abstract
We developed and tested a novel scale to measure Need for Drama (NFD), a compound maladaptive personality trait in which people impulsively manipulate others from a position of perceived victimhood. We confirmed a three factor model of NFD consisting of interpersonal manipulation, impulsive outspokenness, and persistent perceived victimhood factors using Mechanical Turk and college student samples. The pattern of correlations between the NFD factors, dark-triad, attitudes toward gossip, and locus of control, suggest that NFD individuals can be characterized as manipulative, gossipy, and reactive. Correlations to Big-5 personality traits indicate NFD individuals are neurotic, lack conscientiousness, and are slightly more disagreeable. Tests of measurement invariance established that the factor structure and factor loadings of NFD are equivalent between men and women. Organizational, social, and personality researchers may find the NFD measure useful as a predictor of counterproductive workplace behaviors and other maladaptive interpersonal interactions. Future directions and limitations are discussed.

There are no "blue" Papaver Somniferum.(Thats an opium poppy to you OP.)
If you had a blue opium poppy then you could sell it to a seed company and make billions.
It's one of the holy grails of horticulture.
 Lol.
 Nice Meconopsis by the way.
Very tricky to grow in the same spot year after year.
 I grow them myself.
Corn Poppy is it's vulgar name though it has no relation to the Poppy at all.
No opium in them at all OP.
