Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project?
by
hinorizk
on 10/12/2020, 16:28:22 UTC
Many crypto projects today have to work with normal business to succeed and ain't like the old solo way. This leading to crypto being affected by the flow of business as well. For example, like this project, YOUC have to halt their progress.
⏱ YOUapp publication postponed!

Due to the pandemic situation in the world, and the still existing and extended lock-downs, many of our customers and shops are affected by the closure. Therefore, it would not make sense to publish it at the given time, as parts of the app cannot be used by most businesses and users at the moment. Stay tuned for updates!

^ Well, that's expected since any crypto project that has a deep integration with irl business also take a hitch too. At least, you guys are straight forward and give us an update. Guess there will a downtrend for YOUC till this blows over. Bad time for holders but good time for anyone wanting to accumulate YOUC token.

Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold?
by
hinorizk
on 03/09/2020, 20:29:15 UTC
cryptocurrency especially bitcoin and major coins have more value than gold, finance industry investors consider cryptocurrency was best place as their portofolio its proved day by day many investors put their money here.even giant finance institution have special allocation for it, be confidence we were on right place.
can be said like that the price of crypto is considerably higher than gold but in terms of clarity I don't think it can be confirmed for crypto, gold has the potential for stability and crypto can go up and down at any time So in my opinion, crypto and gold have their respective advantages
isn't gold price also have high volatile ? recently gold price increase alot caused many investors recognized gold as safest investment at this moment. but while commodity market have negative news its price will decline alot . in finance industry both gold or cryptocurrency have high risk the ddifference was gold used as money back up.
Yes, gold has spike here and there but that's nothing compared to the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Unless there is something grave like the stock market crash, economic depression, war or recently, pandemic, we won't see gold has high volatile as cryptocurrencies. That put gold to have another valuable point toward crypto.

Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020?

It maybe not profitable like before but it still very worthy of time if you really have nothing to do or cant utilize your skill for a better job. I think we're spoiled since the old time with so many good bounties project that literally free money with little or no effort for earning it.

A crypto coin with no value on it is useless no matter how many users they are boasting. Our time, our effort worth something and I refuse to believe anyone willing to throw away their time and effort for nothing. A project that wants to establish itself has to understand this and reward the user's effort accordingly. Pi Network somehow forgot about this.

Re: Who said that ICOs are dead?
by
hinorizk
on 06/08/2020, 18:44:08 UTC
Just look at the numbers. During 2018, we used to have 200-300 different ICOs going online every week. Currently, this has been reduced to a fraction of that level (< 10 per week). We had some great ICOs in 2017 and the preceding years, such as NEO, Ethereum, Stratis and NXT. But how many such projects we had in the last 12-18 months? I am not very hopeful about a revival of the ICO sector.

Damn was it really 300 a week? I know it was a lot but that's like 40 a day, even I don't think it was that much.

But 10 a week is still a heck lot of shit for ICOs that we all know are useless in general.

The only successful ones these days are by big companies that actually DON'T really need a fundraise, as they're well funded in private rounds.
Yeah, it surely going downhill since then, 2018 with fewer and fewer new projects going for ICO while there is IEO. Just one success ICO doesn't change much the general view about ICO and its state. To be honest, the way of ICO still gives me some bad vibe "We have raised x amount of money over y period of time, big success" Yeah, a lot of shit and scam ICO did that kind of thing back then.

After so many missed opportunities in 2017, my biggest fear is that I could become too FOMO and got rekt hard by buying when it was ATH since my experience.

Dont hold too many altcoins and sabotage yourself because you don't have time to check all of your holdings. That's such a waste and you could change to stop regretting.

I saw quite a lot of gold-backed crypto token a lot lately and pulling my hair why there are investors in those projects. How about today, when gold hit very much ATH on USD so does their gold-backed crypto token have the same increasing?

I wonder how many people lost their hard earn coin just like you: Using a centralized wallet and can't access the private key and when there is something wrong with the account. I bet must be a lot and wonder if those centralized wallets recover those lost coins and credit to them because they're the only ones who has the private key? Really shady.

You saw a lot of abandoned crypto projects with potential and you want to revive them? You only saw the surface but have you try to find out why it got abandoned? Don't go blindly into it because they're abandoned for a reason.

Just because the top altcoin has a low risk than new altcoin doesn't mean newbies shouldn't venture out to learn a thing or two. As long as newbies invest just a little amount, I think let them try because there is still a few new altcoins with good potential.

I would check their profile to see if they're a real person or just AI created portrait with some fake information pull together. To do this, I usually check if they have more than just one picture from the portrait of team member and checking if all picture are legit.

Re: Ethereum : Its not too late

Definitely not yet too late to invest in ethereum. There's a lot of development going to happen in the eth platform and I think its price in the market will still continue to rise. A lot of projects are using the ethereum platform and their success will be success of the eth platform also.
Yeah, look at how it still rally right now from $320 to now over $340. If anyone believes in ETH and its 2.0 then it is never too late to hold ETH because ETH will keep improving.

Self-moderated is just a tool of bitcointalk forum to help the thread owner can control and moderate any post he deems not fit that thread without bothering the mod. You shouldn't label any self-moderated bounty as a potential scam like that.

I think a lot of people interested in XRP after the massive gain it has. Don't mistake about it, after all, not just XRP alone have gained but other altcoins too. XRP is just a so-so investment in my opinion.

So what did we learn from this massive gain? That we should know that gain's limit and pull out before it goes down like today. Hope the trend will back to rally after this little setback.

Re: Will Crypto crash the system?
by

Unless a government backing crypto, I don't think crypto will ever able to crash the system with the currency like fiat. Even then, only fools would think crypto could replace fiat completely.
