You are interpreting my funzie comment using logic. I'm going to be a party poop and say that, when it comes to Bitcoin, I don't really believe anything other than "given sufficient time, it's going up," which is really a paraphrase of Saylor's "it's going up forever, Laura!" In that sense, betting on a specific date for the price to exceed a specific value doesn't make much sense to me.

I can understand your 60/40 choice, given the long sideways streaks we've been observing lately. But the bull in me wants it to be higher. Like 100/0, LOL!

I felt obligated to take the other side of that bet, especially given the odds.  I couldn't help my lil selfie.

Could be time for a new poll?

I wouldn’t mind the price slowing down for a little bit, form some support at $100,000. That would give us a real base to attack a seriously high price later in the year.

I think $225,000 could be a blow off top but I will start selling at around $120,000 and ladder up to whatever the top ends up being. Ideally I will have fat fiat bags (after 24% CGT *spits*) to buy back when the inevitable bear market comes.

A funny incident. Cheesy

I had a similar opinion and idea to yours and I shared it.

This profit has made the summer more pleasant. Cheesy
Friends never forget the profit margin. Correction is always a possibility (a bitter reality for some of us). Cry
I would also like to see it increasing and being able to generate more profits because I am in profit at present but this makes me wonder whether there is any opportunity to buy later at a lower price perhaps ceasing to exist. Huh

A friend made a joke about my opinion and mocked me. You gave him 21 merits. Smiley

You could sell it all
Set your mind on buying cheap
Profit makes no rust

But now you have a similar thought to mine and you expressed it. Huh

Thanks for this reminder!.. I'd somehow missed this wonderful haiku!.. went back to re-merit it!

I’m not against liquidating some Bitcoin when life demands it, that’s just reality.

But doing it right at the start of the first New Chopper Post? That doesn’t sit well with me, especially if you genuinely believe this cycle could peak around $225K.

Trying to sell now just to buy back cheaper is usually a recipe for regret, particularly when you factor in a 24% capital gains tax. Unless the price drops more than 24% below your average sell price, you're not even breaking even.

And if you're laddering out as we go up, odds are you won’t get the full benefit of re-entering with that fiat stash.

Might be wiser to hodl through a few more chopper posts before making any big moves.

I am with you on this cycle, this will be an epic run! I have an even more ambitious target, 300k+, i mean 6T market cap will be broken, when the real money starts flowing in!

Hey ChatGPT, generate me the meme of the dad reading a book with his two kids, with the daughter asking the following…

“Dad have you ever front run any companies before?”

In the father’s caption make it say, “Yes, darling, a small textile company out at Omaha”

On the Son’s caption, the usual please…

Regarding the Arizona bill, Governor Hobbs is known to veto most of the bills, let's not get our hopes up there.

Nvidia is new to me, do you have any sources?

The US selling gold to buy bitcoin -- I believe it when I see it.

Hobbs is an incompetent idiot, but she won’t alienate Bitcoiners by vetoing this bill. It’ll pass automatically on Monday. That’s what I’m expecting.

The Nvidia rumor is all over X. If there is no truth to it, they got a lot of folks to repeat it.

The rumor I’m reading is that the United States will revalue their gold to current prices giving them a $900 billion dollar increase on their books, which they will use to sell off $100 billion and invest in Bitcoin. I think the old multiple of an investment’s effect on market cap is 15? If so, this sends us to $170K this year by itself. Add in $10 billion in short covering, $50 billion in buying from Strategy, potentially $100 billion from other large companies, billions from other governments, retail, banks… You can see the path to $444K beginning to materialize. You crazy bastards are going to get rich!

My only concern: Will coinbase (as an example for any CEX) let me sell some corn when the storm is happening/near the cycle top?
Are there any safer alternatives than selling through KYC-CEX?

I think the biggest issue with be liquidity…

Depending on your total value, you might need to start developing an OTC (KYC) relationship… when the time comes you can make the call. Instead of relying on CEX platforms that doesn’t scale during peak demands!

This will be epic!, the amount of bot/arb trades will totally crash the weaker platforms! They never learn from the past!

Hey bros.
Celebrating my first "wind fall" Social Security check that just landed in my bank account.
Went down to the local Social Security office on Monday to ask what was taking so long with my application for benefits.
Turns out it had nothing to do with all this Muskie Doge nonsense.

Social Security agent.... You put down March 1st as your start benefits date but you reached full retirement age 6 months ago.
Me...I know, I'm still working full time. I like my job. And they like me. Its why I'm still there after 30 years.
Social Security agent ... That's fine, but you can keep working and collect full benefit now with no penalty.
So would yo like to change your start benefits date to October 2024 and receive 6 months of retro benefit for first check?
Me....Well.....ok, twist my arm.

Added bonus...
My company just announced branch closure.  Laying off everyone over next 2 months. (They offered me a position at new location. "Do you want to move?"  me..."ummm... no thanx". lol)
I get 6 months full pay/benefits severance plus a 15% retainer bonus for staying on until they close this summer.. And paying me for all unused vacation time.
Glad I didn't retire in October. Perfect timing...lol

GO BITCOIN

Hope you enjoy your retirement mate!.. always a good thing wanting to work, instead of needing to work!

I will NOT ever sell this account. So you know.

But two things.

1.  "I am off."  What this means is I am crazy, damaged, weak, not myself, etc...  I am VERY off for what it's worth... but you know... life and shit.  Mostly life.  But also a LOT of shit.

But I will try to post less blathering.

2.  Do you beloved people see what's happening?

I really am interested/worried to see how the various blocksize concepts and restrictions play out considering all the noobs who just went through a 25-30% pullback (lol... so terrible... lol lol lol) are next going to be facing this frightening reality after being all aroused by the coming bull run.

Whatever.  I am probably a reverse indicator.  But on the other hand?  Whatever I am is not even worth the mist of a spring dew to put out the firestorm of craziness that is to come.

Hold.

Sometimes you need to stop worrying about others and pay more attention to yourself. Knowing something is wrong is 90% of the work required to getting better! The other 10% is doing something about it! Good luck with your challenges, and if you need any help getting back on track, reach out mate! Mental Health is a real thing!

All seriousness aside... You're definitely not yourself!... hold? what is this hold?

Since we aren't scared of the dip let's play some POKER

Wow you're still hankering for another fix?  Cheesy

I have to admit, it was pretty fun being able to gamble on infinite credit. Then they patched the game and it was no longer possible to make 100+ million in a single hand... boo.

Hey, I only gave you 83 million in one hand, I popped in and my 4 billion was gone, not cool!

I just took 3 credits from you! Up to 1009 now!

Sold worth a few k for quarterly mortgage (that I forgot to pay and I probably can't file this under STML anymore) about an hour ago.
You're all welcome..

#takingonefortheteam

Sorry for your loss… or thank you for your loss…  Huh

Thinking about all the munchies and goodies I could buy now if I sold it in time (like end of March when it was due) is a bit annoying admittedly, but then again given the price I paid ages ago for it still makes me smile (a sad smile, but still a smile).

All jokes aside, this is why we HODL… to be able to use it when we have to! And only use what we need…

Not sure why people are so worried! Cramer predicts a bloodbath on Monday… so we will be fine!

haha, I saw that. End of the day markets will probably be limit up.

It's entertaining watching the panic though. People always think it is the end of the world, fact is trump hasn't done jack to the monatary system so nothing has actually changed. We're still going to get an ever increasing money supply, which means number/s will be up again in the not too distant future. Those who understand this will be buying the global dip.

100% agree, in 2 weeks we will be making our way to the top of the cycle!.. and all this will just be another mark on the FUD chalkboard.

Not financial advice, just common sense, but #BTFD!
