Was able to log in and see my balances.   They even gave two coins for free, a while back, so they are at least generous in this way.  Hopefully, they have better tech contacts now and can stay up.

No need email to verify? Huh

Alright, the new core wallet is almost ready, but don't feel overly rushed as this version requires a mandatory upgrade for pool miners only before block 27500.  If you have a lot of pool miners to upgrade you can start pulling down the linux version (1084) now, but I will announce the release soon (when windows is ready).

So now that the upgrade is almost ready, Ill go into a little more detail as to why the 5 accounts were banned.

I have reason to believe one Hong Kong mining operation has been falsifying partial pool solution packets that hit as share solutions.  Basically they are running the PCs in parallel and finding the distinct biblehash, and then leaving the thread in solo mining mode for a certain percentage of the time so as to trick the pool only when it asks how the thread is doing.

So this caused me to write a report on any miner who has not been solving actual blocks (IE MinerWhoFoundBlock) and therefore I banned all miners who have more than 10 machines pointed at the pool who have not found a block in 90 days.

Now we require a more enhanced solution, containing the entire block and the entire coinbase transaction hex, and the biblehash, using this info we will verify that if the block was solved at that particular second, that the pool would have been compensated and that the nonce is correct.  We will now verify the solutions within 5 seconds also, so as to require real-time mining of the partial solution (preventing Hong Kong miners from pre-creating future solutions in the past).

After this release I will unlock the banned accounts that still exist (the Hong Kong accounts have been deleted) but you will need to re-create all your miners records.

So, Why I still can't login? You doubt that I am a miner of Hong Kong mining operation? Huh
I believe this will be a big misunderstanding if you used a personal domain name to make a judgments. Embarrassed
Today's society, the domain not just for business use only, everyone can buy domain for personal to be more convenient to own-self.

Please do not ignore me, why just is my account can't login but my friend still normal mining. Cry

Im sorry about that, I dont mean to come across as racist.  I made a rash decision a few nights back and deleted the 5 Hong Kong accounts who appeared to be in my list who did not solve a block in 90 days.  So, I might have deleted you.

Please PM your username and email and then you can start over, as long as you are running 1.0.8.6+.

Rob

Hi, Rob

I sent email and PM to you , please help resume back my account, thanks. Smiley

When I press the reset password button, it show"Unable to retrieve a user with that username".

I guess you already deleted my account.. Sad

The only way is to re-register?

Just give up!

No any reason for banned ,it is not an open and aboveboard.  Undecided

(Maybe I announced too much real data,Due to I need to calculate the cost of machine and I got analysis results)  Smiley

What's wrong in the pool?

I see the block gradually decreased from 45 to 37 now (Blocks Mined (24 hour period))

All miner working normal but no BBP gain?

Dear Rob
Can you tell me?
Why? Our mining project to get low coins?
Maybe i am error for test , the info below

1 PC = 24 core = share 48
1 PC = 24 core (tested 1 of 1vCPU = total 24 vPC ) = share 91
1 PC = 24 core (tested 1 of 4vCPU = total 6 vPC) = share 62
Same PC ~Same Ram ~Same network

Big Share= get more coin  or not?

I called top of 3 big dog to tested . This is correct detail data.
Please fix the problem.

If you feel this is good at BBP future that you keep doing that.
Big pool fee is ok , I support.
But low coin of day that is not good.
 Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh
I hope BBP will being just, fair and open.
I don't want any misunderstanding . Please explain. Love BBP Love this coin.

Thanks Rob ,Have are nice day

From Hong Kong ...Man

This problem is since... relese. Earlier in old topic Rob said he  wont change it because he want to support small minners with low core cpus.
But I think, You already know from this topic that multiwallet is your 24 core cpu best friend  Roll Eyes especially since Rob takeoff limitation of solutions per ip from pool?

I had finished the test about the gain of BBP.

Testing equipment : Machine A & B are Dual L5630 CPU (2.4Ghz 8Core16Thread), all setting are same except cpu core setting
Machine C : AMD Ryzen Pro 1700X (3.4Ghz 8Core16Thread)
-----------------

machine A:
each VM with 2 core (around 410HSP) , Total 8 VM in 9hours BBP Gain = 196.2544
BBP per hour = 21.80604444

machine B :
each VM with 1 core(around 200HSP) , Total 16VM in 9hours BBP Gain = 486.0898
BBP per hour = 54.00997778

Machine C :
All CPU resource used by one BBP process(8500HSP), Each Day = 309.3764
BBP per hour = 12.89068333

This is undoubtedly a disadvantage for high-performance machines in current BBP calculate method.

High cost of high-performance machines but the return rate is lower than the low performance machine.

For example, John pay $ 1000 a day for machine rent to get 5000 BBP
Peter pay $200 a day and gets the same 5000 BBP
I do not think anyone wants to be John....

The huge question for machine A, the fast ryzen, is it running competetive mining?
The elephant in the room here is since we have the anti-GPU feature, the low-nonce limiter, the first thing a fast machine will be doing is hashing faster per second, using up all its nonces.

Please check to see if the fast testbed is running competetivemining=true?

ALL in competetive mining ( "competetive_mining": true,)

I did not turn it off by config and this is default auto true by version 1.0.7.5 (or later) by your mentioned.

I also want to know why such a huge difference. The result was based on the test time and configuration were same and sent by email to you before. Cry

This is the result of my second test, and forced to add this command competetivemining = true in conf file, but the result is worse than low-performance machines. Confirmed Not affected by the GPU because I already disable GPU function before test again.

So I had to stop and re-plan how to do to be the best solution.
The first step may not use high-performance machines again as considering the machine using high cost, but the return is lower than the cheap machine

Machine C :
All CPU resource used by one BBP process(8500HSP), 10 Hour = 241.6102
BBP per hour = 24.16102

Machine A Dual L5630 Around 3200HSP share amount ~150 ,Machine C AMD Ryzen 1700X Around 8500HSP share amount ~25

BiblePay - 1.0.7.5
Leisure Upgrade

- Competetive mining feature:
The idea behind competetive mining, is for those with fast processors who mine so fast that they run out of nonces,
this feature automatically adds a tithe for the orphan foundation for a miniscule amount (IE 1 satoshi or .000001 bbp)
IF you run out of mining nonces, and only increments to 2 satoshi again if you run out.  However, when the block changes,
the amount is reset to 0 again.  Alex and I have tested this and it appears to give a 5% mining edge.  Therefore I wanted
to release this as quickly as possible for general consumption.  Since it gives a mining edge, I made the feature ON by default.
To turn it off add the key: competetivemining=false to your biblepay.conf file.

- Pool SSL Support (change pool=http:// to pool=https:// and remove poolport=80 in biblepay.conf file to use SSL).

Is it have a problem?I found some upgraded PC can't running bbp process , but old version still running normal....
I tried to reboot or change dns, and changed back to port80 but it seem not work..

quote:
# Error: Error: A fatal internal error occurred, see debug.log for details
Error: Failed to connect best block

I just got the same error. I am reindexing now...

EDIT: Re-indexing seemed to work

1.0.7.5 version seem have problem.

It is the second times occurred , I am re-indexing again.
I worry it will happen again....
