In my time knowing Mr. Li, I have found him to be one of the most trustworthy and passionate individuals I have ever met. His commitment to the Bitcoin community seems endless and he supports many small projects. We are very lucky to have him here.
As for your assertion that he somehow lacks the skills to carry out an IPO, it is baseless and offensive. China isn't the most Bitcoin friendly environment, yet he publicly embraces it regardless of the personal risks. He has decades of business experience and a very committed network of associates to carry out a wide range of operations throughout all of China. Li is also my friend and I'll always support his efforts to bring Bitcoin to a society in desperate need of the economic freedom we take for granted.

How to Upgrade
If you are running an older version, shut it down. Wait
until it has completely shut down (which might take a few minutes for older
versions), then run the installer (on Windows) or just copy over
/Applications/Bitcoin-Qt (on Mac) or bitcoind/bitcoin-qt (on Linux).
If you are upgrading from version 0.7.2 or earlier, the first time you
run 0.8.2 your blockchain files will be re-indexed, which will take
anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours, depending on the speed of
your machine.
0.8.2 Release notes
Fee Policy changes
The default fee for low-priority transactions is lowered from 0.0005 BTC
(for each 1,000 bytes in the transaction; an average transaction is
about 500 bytes) to 0.0001 BTC.
Payments (transaction outputs) of 0.543 times the minimum relay fee
(0.00005430 BTC) are now considered 'non-standard', because storing them
costs the network more than they are worth and spending them will usually
cost their owner more in transaction fees than they are worth.
Non-standard transactions are not relayed across the network, are not included
in blocks by most miners, and will not show up in your wallet until they are
included in a block.
The default fee policy can be overridden using the -mintxfee and -minrelaytxfee
command-line options, but note that we intend to replace the hard-coded fees
with code that automatically calculates and suggests appropriate fees in the
0.9 release and note that if you set a fee policy significantly different from
the rest of the network your transactions may never confirm.

安德烈：我个人在金融投资方面相当保守。除了持有一些比特币，余钱基本就是放在互助基金里，而且我总是对人们说 不要把你的养老钱都来买比特币，它不稳定、风险也大，你可能会因此失去所有。
记者：过去所有的虚拟货币，比如Beanz和Flooz，都失败了，比特币有什么不同？
安德烈：过去的电子钱或虚拟货币都失败在中央化这点上。所以一家公司发行的货币不会有多少价值。发行货币的公司要想使这种货币进入商业领域，就会遇到明白人的阻止和反对，这就是它们失败的唯一原因。比特币绕开了这一点，它是世界上第一个进入商业领域的、没有中央组织的系统。比特币由每个用它的人支撑，除非所有用它的人由于某种原因都不再使用，否则比特币会永远运行下去，不会消失，也没办法关掉它。
记者：难道政府不会压制把它关掉吗？
安德烈：某个单个政府可能会判定比特币交易非法，但很难想象世界上所有的政府都认为它是非法的。我的判断是一些政府不喜欢比特币认为它是非法的，而另外一些政府会非常喜欢它。

安德烈：我对政治不在行，所以我只能猜想也许政府是在考虑这个事。如果我是中国政府看到美元是世界主要储备货币，那么比特币应该伤害的不是自己啊。
记者：比特币的进程会怎样呢？
安德烈：只有很小很小的机会比特币会成长为真正的老大，我的意思是只有不到二十分之一的机会能在50年时间里取代美元成为世界主要储备货币。更可能的是比特币会在相当广的领域内流通使用，它不会威胁到欧元或美元，但能成为受到重视的世界货币之一。
去年我曾说过，比特币比世界上任何一个主权国家货币都小，今年我要改说法了，比特币已经比某些国家的货币大了，而且还在不断变大。如果以总流通价值算的话大概可以超过20或40个国家的法币。比特币的地位还在上升，现在已经走在成为世界主要货币的道路上了。

比特币现在已经用在正当市场了。我用比特币买了蛋糕，商店有一个iPad付款登陆口，上面有一个比特币付款按钮 .然后按上去，整个过程大概20秒。比特币到底还能买多少东西我也说清楚，也因此不清楚黑市交易能占整个市场交易的比例。
记者：一旦所有比特币都被挖出，矿工会不会退出不再运行比特币分类账系统？
安德烈：矿工仍会工作，因为每次交易会有交易费，这个费用会给到那个运算的矿工。一旦矿工费下降，那么交易费就会上升 交易费是自愿的，不过你不付费的话，你的那笔交易有可能没有矿工愿意为你确定啊（目前一个比特币的平均交易费用为千分之1）。

New per-asset FAQ system enabled.
Asset pages have an "Asset FAQ's" link in the asset menu bar at the top.
Issuers can now edit the asset profile and add/update FAQ's.
Hopefully this will help people to not have to constantly go looking for answers.

I checked that asicminer is legit
I checked that bitfunder is legit. However, as a precaution I saw that bitfunder publishs all private address from everyone that own stocks.
I trust bitcoin of course.
However, will asicminer recoqnize me as the owner of asicminer stock if owner of bitfunder run away? Do they make that kind of statement?

I imagine the person who released this coin is sitting back and laughing his ass off at all the lemming who jumps at the chance to mine a coin with zero information at all. Why go through an effort to pump a coin up yourself, if all you have to do is release one and let other people waste their time doing it for you and then reap the benefit yourself.

The member who release the coin created the account the day before and has only 7 post. 5 post to get out of the Newbie area. 1 Post in the Chinese forum area 4hrs before another post in the Alt Crypto Forum. During which over 1000 blocks had been mined already.
Does it offer anything innovative over litecoin? Nope.
Do we know who even made the coin? Nope, there has been no information on the developer at all. The fact that the Linux version wasn't compile correct shows just how much effort they put into making the coin.
If this is what happens every time a new coin is released then I feel that the crypto-currencies as a whole are bound the fail.
