Re: Selling Bitcointalk Accounts 40% sale with proof of legit ownership.

WARNING

It has been well over a month since I paid and my order is only 20% complete. I email the seller around 2 times a week and he just says he will send "later today" or "tomorrow" but he never does.

Do not send money until seller clears his current backlog of orders.

Once my order is complete, I will post here to let everyone know.

I don't get it, OP states that escrow is a MUST.
How can you possibly have lost anything?

Believe me, he was more than happy to accept BTC without escrow. I don't bother with escrow for such a small amount of BTC. Here is a screenshot of one of our many PMs - he just makes excuses after excuses (he only sent 2 out of the 10 accounts I paid for). I asked him many times to just return the rest of the BTC if he can't fulfill the order (no response of course). I think he's a little slow in the head to be honest.

Anyway, I can't be bothered dealing with this fucking cunt anymore. I left him a negative trust and I will monitor to see if he comes back under a different name so that he can't rip anyone else off.

This guy is either stupid, lazy, incompetent or a fucking scammer. Whatever it is, there are other more reliable people selling accounts on here so there's no  need to waste your time with this asshole.

There have been many reports of account farmers getting their accounts banned. If one of his accounts is banned, but posts or sends a PM from another of his accounts then it could be considered ban evading which would result in a perm ban (this is my understanding). I would speculate this to be what happened, but I can't say for sure.

Unfortunately that isn't the case, AccountTrader logs in on a daily basis.

I have lost track on how many times I have PMd him. It is always the same story - "I'll start sending tonight, tomorrow, etc".

To be honest I am really getting tired of dealing with this so if he doesn't complete my order by the end of the week I am just going to write it off as a loss, leave him a negative trust rating and then monitor for any new users trying to sell accounts in case he comes back and tries to rip people off again under another user name.

BTW, I did come across your thread and I would have rather used your services but it appeared that you only had senior level accounts and the prices were much too high for me  Sad

UPDATE

Ok, I've talked to AccountTrader and he has started making good on his deal with me. Apparently he had an accident which has added to the delays but regardless, I can confirm that he does have real accounts.

So he is not a scammer, but if you place an order you just need to be aware that it may be a number of weeks before it is completed.

Once my order is completed I'll be sure to let everyone know. At least this is a positive development and it's nice to know that not everyone is out to just take your money and run.

SCAM WARNING - DO NOT SEND THIS GUY MONEY!

I placed an order and paid well over two weeks ago and he has not sent anything except excuses and promises. I am about ready to write this off as a scam and make sure this guy doesn't conduct business on here again but I will give him one more chance to make good.

If he sends what he promised, I will update everyone immediately. For now just assume it is a scam and do not waste your time and money on this guy like I did.

Re: Ideas to make NEM popular ?!

NEM does seem to have some great features but the attention span in the crypto world is really short so there needs to be something that will really draw people to NEM. It used to be just an anonymous marketplace or built in chat could draw people in but that's not really the case anymore.

wow that is totally insane maybe we are on the verge of something?

I've been thinking that myself. You can just feel it in the air that BTC is gearing up for another rocket trip.

So Crypti is now being traded on BTER, Poloniex and Cryptsy? I haven't checked in for a while so I am happy to see the rapid progress!

I'll have to check out Poloniex and Cryptsy's prices compared to BTER. BTER seems to attract the dumpers so it's good for buying  Grin

So glad I saw this in time! It is obvious the dev is very serious about this and has a good plan. I think we can easily get enough people behind this to make it as big as Crypti or even NXT  Grin

Re: Darkcoin - Will it rise again?
by
hloren70
on 25/08/2014, 09:04:30 UTC
I don't think it will myself. Coins have a pretty short lifespan now and Darkcoin had a very good, long run. Once a coin declines off of its initial pump, most of the time it never returns to those highs. The problem is that there are just too many choices coming onto the market and nobody has the patience to sit with a coin for a really long time - they just dump it and move on to something else and interest in the coin gradually declines.

Interesting! One of the issues with current cryptos is distribution as they are usually only given out or purchased to members of this forum. That is such a small number of potential users. If you can tap into the masses on social networks then you could have something special here!

I don't believe the coins you have listed are in any way connected with each other. For goodness sake, NEM and ORA were totally free in the beginning and Node was available for next to nothing. Those 3 should not be grouped with NXT, QORA, DRK and QRK.

Re: How come there are so many literal idiots on Bitcointalk?
by
hloren70
on 21/08/2014, 09:20:16 UTC
I'm not even using this term figuratively. Most people here seem to be literal idiots. Not only do they type like idiots, but they also make claims without basis.

"It will fall now, sell now"
"It will go to moon, weak hands"
"Bitcoin is kill Sad Sad Sad"

^^^
WTF seriously?

Everytime you make any claim about price. Not "I think", but "It WILL" you HAVE to provide arguments WHY.

Provide exact calculation by which the Bitcoin should go to 100, 300, 1000, 10000.

If you don't do this you are a very stupid human being and should kill yourself.

Also, if you cannot sleep over the price changes and need to check daily, then it means you are so stupid you risked a big proportion of your income on a speculative asset. In which case I think you should kill yourself.

Someone had to say this.

I feel the same way. From what I have heard, this forum wasn't always like this. I heard it started to go downhill after the boom in late 2013 and especially after the introduction of Dogecoin with all that broken english crap.
