To the person above me;

I think you need to realise that backups are essential.
Especially with, what is estimate is to be, ones of small sizes.
Not that those are more important then bigger ones, just easyer.
You learned your lesson, it will come back no worries.
If not you will find a backup of someone who did backup, if you are a bit lucky.

Hi,

I am looking for a Spondoolies SP31 in good condition.
I live in the Netherlands so I prefer someone also from the Netherlands.
If u are not from the Netherlands, thats not a big deal, EU sellers only tho.
The unit has to be in decent condition not malfunctioning etc.

I also might be interested in an Antminer S4+ or a Spondoolies SP35 those really depend on the price but if its a good working unit, in decent condition, name your price and perhaps u got yourself a deal Wink !

It will take about a year I guess, to mine 3.9BTC with the S4+.
Could be a bit earlyer but I guess about 10 months.
It's up to you and me if we going to take the gamble if we think the price will gain alot or not.

Re: Who would like better PHYSICAL storage?

Paper wallets are pretty weak, let's be honest.  If someone were to offer you a superior way to keep Bitcoin in offline (PHYSICAL) form, would that interest you?

Brutally honest?  Ok.

How is paper not physical?

And let me add to that:
How are they weak?

If you create a paper wallet on an offline computer, then completely erase all data from that computer (hell, even get a cheap old pc and destroy it afterwards),
how is that weak?

Please enlighten me.

/Advocate of the devil here;

-You could loose the paper
-You could loose the password of the wallet number
-You could have ur house and/or the paper burned
-And it could get unreadable after a year or so depending on the printer and or inkt cartridge.

Just like all of you.
Any substantiated speculation on that around?

Our first generation Miner S1 produced in October of 2013, are still hashing!
S2 released in April of 2014 are still hashing!

Warranty is 90-days, however, most hardware do last well over 1 year and S1 as an example, 18 months and still hashing!

Ok thanks!
Im glad to hear that! Smiley

Thanks for the information dogie. Smiley
I would personally still prefer the LCD, and, a working, buzzer tho, even if you dont overclock the GH/s rate would be gr8 to see in my opinion.
So u can see if it still runs at the speed in GH/s u want, meaning no hardware failure probably and most likely, and there are difficulty raises in Bitcoin of course. And IP adress just like the max temp is good to see as well, convenient, in my opinion.

U also know the answer on what the MTBF, Main Time Before Failure, on average, in good environment conditions, would be? Smiley
(Since the warranty is short, just like on all other miners tho)

Since the warranty on most, and not exluded this, bitcoin miners are short, what would be the main time before failure?(MTBF)
How long does it on average run until it probably stops. MTBF, build to run..for how long? Under decent circumstances?

I am not particulary happy with the fact that Bitmain decided to not build in an LCD screen.
Even more so, I just hate the fact that there is no "buzzer"
Why would they do that, it was convenient and a good thing to have. The buzzer is just important to have.
Does anyone know WHY they decided to not include an LCD and an buzzer in this model?
For the price and especially the power usage they could at least have placed(keeped) the buzzer..why did they remove it, where they did have it in the "normal" S4..?
