Imagine if people had a way to invest directly into the internet infrastructure when it was just getting going. And how much they would have profited. Now that growth if what you will see with Bitcoin.

Did you do any market analysis or research the coins before you invested? Most altcoins have increased in value in the past 6 months.

Do heavy research on those coins if at that point you still believe in them then average down if you no longer believe in them then it could be a good option to sell.

Making a new OS is a fairly large task especially building one as unique as one of the 1st blockchain OS. I wonder if 2 years was really enough time to launch this since he started it in 2014.

dividing your groups by cost of coin makes no sense you should be doing it by market cap.

You should read a lot on past and present altcoins and do heavy research on them. Don't just buy the first hyped coin you see.

You should really do some of your own research instead of taking everyone else's word especially if you are doing a substantial investment.

If it's your first crypto coin investment even though it's a smaller amount you should still do the neccesary research on coins and pick one you see the most potential in. Treating your first investment like you would a bigger investment further down the line will give you some good insight that you might have missed if you don't take your first investment seriously.

Re: Stable altcoins?

I don't see any point for a coin to be very stable with no growing. A coin I would recommend for it's stability and potential growing would be Diamonds.

Coins being stable is one essential part of it being used as a currency. Profits are always but with highs also comes lows, for a day to day use currency stability is fairly essential.

The effect that this will have on cryptocurrency is being completely overblown their will just be a small short term setback then it will be business as usual.

Re: Litecoin is officially dead

There is always people coming up and saying this coin is dead, that coin is dead. Most likely because people feel they need to get rid of some coins to let the coins they believe in thrive. There is enough space in this ecosystem for many coins to fill many different niches. One coin doesn't need to die for the other to succeed.

The longterm effect most likely won't be that big but in the short time some people will get scared and the market will go down a bit.

Education on blockchain is always a good idea. Do you have a road map of how exactly you want to do things or are you still figuring it out?

So i`ve checked the Swarm presale page aaaand: "Purchase Amount (minimum 50,000 $USD equivalent in ETH)"...  I mean, really? Fifty thousand dollars? They should`ve gone for the million straight away.

any idea why they set it so high? A $50k minimum is very rare in the crypto space.

Getting true mainstream adoption on a crypto currency is extremely difficult. Bitcoin is the biggest success and even it hasn't reached mainstream adoption.

That's mostly nonsense, a coin will stand on its own merit regardless if it what ico issued or mined. But both methods still have their pros and cons.

They don't really seem to stick to their bans and when they make a decision on crypto it's usually vague and can be interpreted so many different ways.

well hindsight is 20/20 of course if you pick the right ICO you will have higher returns then really any other asset but you really need to do your research on what you invest in either way.
