to people having wallet synch issues...

1) download the new wallet
2) navigate to C:\Users\YOUR_PC_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\cleanwatercoin
3) delete everything except wallet.dat file
4) create a text file named cleanwatercoin.conf
inside C:\Users\YOUR_PC_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\cleanwatercoin folder

in this file, Use only these 2 nodes

connect=107.170.209.91
connect=107.170.89.103

I would also recommend adding these nodes

connect=64.90.187.253
connect=62.83.87.198
connect=85.240.144.203
connect=98.163.22.211
connect=174.25.40.140

5) start your wallet up and let it synch

I am on block 23403 with this conf file.

The conf file that came with the updated wallet tx fix does not work

I agree, the conf file that came with the wallet just creates more problems.

At the time of this writing, the current block is 22219.
I would recommend removing the following nodes from the list of good nodes.

107.170.217.4    Currently synched to block 14355

128.199.255.146     Currently synched to block 20132

where are people mining this? I only see the minep.it pool working... with 7 mhs... while net hash is above 40mhs...

solo's or another pool?

That is a good question.  The official pool is offline at the moment.

Wallet synced at block 16061.  Thank you for the advice BrianB. I'm looking forward to my coins maturing tomorrow so that I can start minting.  Smiley

By the way, I'm launching the wallet using this batch file.
Code:
cleanwatercoin-qt.exe -checklevel=5 -checkblocks=10000
I'm not too familiar with the -checklevel and -checkblocks commands but I thought it was worth giving them a try.  One of the functions of -checklevel is to verify that the transactions found in each block are on the main chain. The -checkblocks command determines how far back to look at previous blocks and verify that they are valid when starting up (default is 2500). It seems like using these commands might help to prevent accidentally ending up on the wrong fork. At least this is my understanding of how it works.  I'm still a noob, so feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
