The S19 104T is a very good, very stable machine. It is obviously caused by the overheating of the machine. From experience, you must use a negative pressure fan! Be sure to use a negative pressure fan! Be sure to use a negative pressure fan!

Re: Experienced GPU miner thinking about starting an ASIC farm; what should I know?
by

on 06/04/2022, 03:30:05 UTC
As a Chinese practitioner who mines both GPU and ASIC, I now have about 1,000 pieces 3060TI and 3070, 400 units S19 series. My idea is that I will keep digging with GPU. If ETH turns to POS, then I will dig ETC. There will always be a way. Of course, ASIC mining is my main business. Many Chinese investors are now working in Texas for the chinese  policy reasons, and the electricity price in Texas is completely acceptable for mining. As for the S9 is a very stable machine, the failure rate is not high, but $380 is definitely second-hand,The failure rate will be much higher. So I suggest you buy a refurbished S9j 14.5t, it will be much more stable, about $500 a piece. If you are worried about the price of BTC falling, then I suggest you to buy the Ant S19 series. With Texas electricity costs, you'll always be profitable.

Re: bad time or good time to buy asic miner
by

Long time GPU miner, first time Asic Miner...

I moved away from mining eth, given the planned PoS move in June.  Looking to buy an Asic miner, but from what I can tell, the ROI on most miners is 24 months min.  24 months is a lifetime in crypto, as well as the 24 months does not include diff increase over those 24 months.  Am I missing something?  Can anyone give me some suggestions on models that have a decent ROI?  On one hand I can get myself an A 1246 Pro 87T, but i see some new units coming in July at 140T that will certainly raise the hashrate and increase time for ROI.

Thoughts/Guidance ?

There is a problem with your calculation method. What really affects your return cycle is your electricity cost. If you have good cost control, some BTC miners can make a return within a few months, such as S9, T17. Of course, at the same time you need a reasonable mining machine purchase price. It is important to find a suitable mining machine supplier, like me. Support newegg or ebay transactions, lol

A newbie account trying to lead members to a telegram channel? This is not a safe way to buy an ASIC miner, there are a lot of scam related to purchasing a ASIC miner online today either through stores online or through fake websites... Anyone reading this should be careful.

Hello sir, I totally understand your concern. Because we generally use WeChat in China, we use telegram for foreign countries.you can chreck our telegram channel ,https://t.me/HoneyMiningTech      The channel have all our offcially documents and notarization with English, or you can buy our products by NEWEGG (Newegg checks all our official documents before we open our store)https://www.newegg.com/Seller-Store/HoneyMiningTech/about

Thank you for your attention, indeed we need to be careful, there are many scams in this industry.
Do you know how easy it is for someone to pretend like the real honey mining Tech? Everyone including myself can easily pull this stunt, telling someone to PM you direct is wrong, you should direct them to popular stores where they can get refund if anything goes wrong.
Our business license is officially issued by the Chinese government, which cannot be faked, and is notarized in English. We actually considered selling on Alibaba, but because of China's policy, we can't sell mining machines on Alibaba now. If you are willing to Google the newegg e-commerce platform, you will find that all the stores above are legitimate, not scams.

Yesterday a new ASIC miner launched a machine, NM440, that is supposed to do 440 EH/s with a lower cost than currently available miners.

Does anyone know if these guys are legit? Seems crazy that the machine is 3-4x more powerful than anything from Bitmain.

In Feb 2021 I built a mining rig with 6 MSI 1660 that costs me 2500$ with motherboard and a 850watt power supply my question is what can this 2500$ built this 2022?
If you live in the USA, then you can buy the same thing for the same money, or the RTX 1660 super a little more expensive. According to forecasts, less than 3 months until the end of Ethereum mining, are you sure you want to buy video cards? I think that in most countries prices will fall every month and your profit will be less than the loss from falling prices.

How sure are we that this is not another one of those scam Helium (HNT) miners. I have come a cross dozens of scams claiming to sell equipment that can mine HNT.

Do you have any proof of official communication from Helium confirming that Panther Clear point is one of the approved hardware?

very simple,
1 Follow our TELE channel: https://t.me/HoneyMiningTech
It has all the information you want, if you know a mining machine supplier in China, ask about the reputation of our company. Or visit our company directly through your Chinese friends.
2 Check our company qualifications through our NEWEGG. All our materials are reviewed by NEWEGG before we can open the store. (Newegg ID: honeyminingtech)
3 The Panther official will release the new product of the Panther cleaning point later, when you see it, you will know whether this machine is real. And the Black Panther X2 is now the best and most stable HNT miner, you can see it in various channels like YOUTUBE.
4 We are also the supplier of Panther X2, you can contact me if you are interested. @honeyminingcheng

Hello

All YouTubers are talking about KOI Miner
Do you recommend me to buy it?

I have to say something, as one of the Chinese distributors of Koi Miners. I am very clear to tell you that this machine really exists, not a scam. We have already offered to buyers in Russia and Laos. Of course, to be honest, because the machine has just appeared, its stability and durability will take time to prove. But the machine itself is real, not a scam.

Re: WHERE TO BUY WHATSMINER M30S++
by

on 16/03/2022, 02:35:47 UTC
Hello guys!

I'm searching the cheapest website to buy the Whatsminer M30S++ and I think the best one I found is the official website (https://whatsminer.net/shop/). All distribuitors I found are more expensive than the official website. However, I see everybody purchases the Asics with distributors which is more expensive than the official website (https://whatsminer.net/shop/). Is there something that I'm missing? is it possible to buy the Asic here? https://whatsminer.net/shop/ or do we need distributors as Alibaba or others to buy an Asic Miner?

Thank you!

Hello, I am a mining equipment supplier in China, I will answer your question. Because under normal circumstances, manufacturers such as Whatsminer or Antminer will invite us to place an order to buy a futures mining machine a few months before the production of a mining machine. When we complete the procurement, they will arrange the production tasks according to our procurement situation, so that their risk will be much smaller. So all they produced were bought by us, and there would be no inventory on his official website.

When I power on my S17+. I have 3 full boards working. However after 5 minutes one of the boards drops off, as indicated in my picture below by Before and After

Most likely your third board is overheating. It is recommended that you clean up the dust, especially the dust of the fan and try again.

Re: Looking for data center operators
by

on 15/03/2022, 13:46:59 UTC
Hi,

we plan to start mining on our own. In the beginning we start with some dozens of the latest Antminers (not S19, currently) and plan to increase the number of units up to 500 within the next 3-6 month and some thousands within the next 12-24 month.
I need some help (i.e. with network hardware) to build a reliable infrastructure for such many units. Is anyone here, who can help with building a (private) mining data center?

Best

BTW: I do not want to talk about reliability.

Hi, I can help you out. We have professional mobile mine boxes, each of which can hold 220 sets of S19 pro 110t. The temperature control system and all electrical arrangements have been integrated. The mine box to your mine only needs to be connected to the electricity to start mining, and it is very cost-effective.We already have our users in the United States, you can go to investigate.

Re: MINING BITCOIN IN GEORGIA
by
honeyminingcheng
on 15/03/2022, 03:16:54 UTC
hello bitcoiners!  Grin

I have been thinking about mining Bitcoin for a few months now and I have been trying to find the most cost effective way both in the choice of the ASIC and in the electricity cost.

I am from Spain, and here the electricity is very expensive, plus in my country there are very bad tax regulations, so it is a country that I discard to mine Bitcoin. Analyzing all the countries in Europe to mine Bitcoin I found what I think is the perfect country to mine Bitcoin, both for its tax advantages and its extremely low cost of electricity (0.06 $/kWh on average). That country is Georgia. I am sure there are many on this forum who mine cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin in this country for its many advantages.

On the other hand, I am trying to see which is the best mining equipment that has high hash rate, low power consumption and affordable price. And that's when I found the ASIC Whatsminer M30S++ (106 TH/s, 3300W, $7300 price). I have several questions regarding this.... Can I buy this ASIC on the official website? Is it safe to buy it on the official website? (https://whatsminer.net/) or is it better through a trusted distributor? As far as I see you can and it is the cheapest place to buy it (much cheaper than in distributors). Here is the link: https://whatsminer.net/product/m30splusplus-106t-31w-may-delivery/ Anybody here could confirm me if you have bought it on the official website?

I have another question... What do you think about this brand? I think it is better Antminer (for example the Bitcoin Miner S19j Pro) but it is a more expensive... I think Whatsminer is very good to start mining... what do you think?

Thanks!!!  Smiley

Hello, I am a mining equipment supplier from China and a miner with 5 years of experience. The electricity price you mentioned can definitely be mined, and it is also very competitive in the entire market. Last year, because of China's policy, many of us went overseas to mine. Important points about overseas mining:
1 Be familiar with local policies and regulations.
2 Make sure that the site can have long-term and stable power supply
3 The local political environment is stable
4 Local strong friends

Regarding the machine, in fact, my personal recommendation is that the S19 is better. I have over 800 s19s in my facility, some have been operating for almost two years without any issues. The M31+ that I bought in May 2021 from another mine has been repaired several times.
As for the purchase of the machine on the official website, in fact, the machine was booked in advance by our mining equipment supplier several months before production, so the official website has no inventory. If you don't buy much, I suggest you buy directly from Alibaba/Newegg. If you buy a lot, I suggest you choose a reliable supplier.
