I think BTC price will be over $ 2k at some point in 2016 and after the peak it will swing between $ 800 -1300.
Since BTC price will increase , it will also affect altcoin market in a positive way which altcoin price will also increase. At least we will see 1 LTC is over $ 20.

I'll initially trade what I get until I've reached my goal of 1 BTC
Mine at pool chosing the most profitable scrypt coin then and exchange to Bitcoins immediatelly. Also, you need to monitor the rig from time to time, so you do not miss much time if comp freezes
So unfortunately, after a month of trying to get into Bitcoin without even being able to get a single one, I'm giving up. I really hope that some reputable service providers start producing secure, easy-to-use and fool proof Bitcoin trading apps in the near future. Until then, the technical challenges and security risks just seem too high for me, so I'm out; sorry.
I agree Bitcoin is now for tech savvy, but come back next year, hopefully secure hardware wallets and more Bitcoin ATMs will be available.
How low do you guys speculate the price of btc will drop before reaching something relatively stable? Will it never stop? All this negative attention towards the crypto currency is the reason for the panic selling
I doubt Bitcoin price can be stable now because I still waiting what happens with China at the end of this month.

For noob trader it is highly unlikely, but there is small chance you will do well
