I'll cut out your Gordian knot. In a critical and passionate situation, only an academic will reply in such a cold hearted way. The best way to stop Mike Hearn is to raise our individual voices and say what's on our mind. It's common sense. No need for academia. You tell me how critical infrastructure systems will be affected just for Fukushima, the food chain poisoning, the panic and the response. The powers that be only plan for chaos. That's how they reset their power structure. Any guidance from regulators will be according to the moneyed interests. They plan to divide and conquer thru out the chaos. Their only plan. I say don't give them any lever to lean on.

With respect to all you programming geniuses, you all speak as if you're in a vacuum in space. At this late stage the core development team still hasn't understood the vision of a currency that doesn't depend on government approval??

The world is heading into the Fukushima nuclear disaster with Japanese Secret State Laws to reduce the reporting of how melted the reactors are and how many Japanese are getting sick. China and the US and allies in the Pacific are on the brink of war over some islands but really about whether the white race or yellow race should rule the planet. The US is about to start the next QE, Europe and Japan the same, to no success. There are holes in all the banks so big they can fit the moon thru. Do these governments look like they know what the fuck they're doing?!

I want to ask Mike Hearn, Peter Todd, and Gavin what kind of wisdom and order they hope government regulations would bring bitcoin. I'm sick and tired of hearing Mike Hearn's stupid ideas about red-listing and using national passports as trust certificates for bitcoin. I've invested too much money and time and I've been on r/bitcoin for the last 9 months every day spreading the bitcoin gospel, rebutting wanna-be economists that deflation destroys society, and predicting that the war machine will be dismantled forever. Mike Hearn, Peter Todd and others should be ashamed of themselves. I'm so angry I don't know how to say it.

I am on the same boat like you guys, very great points above. I am reinvesting dividends all way down 2.7 , 2.5 , 1.7 , 1.0 , 0.56 , 0.57 ... right now my future life is in Friedcat's hands.

I believed in him and in ASICminer so like 6 or 7 months ago I invested 80% from my BTC into ASICminer, fuck fiat, I was never planning cashout BTC into fiat anyway. Dividends was the only way how to steady increase BTC position in long term.

Only true believers in BTC and in Friedcat will stay on the boat after this period, so I am not surprised that your opinions are similar to mine, who else should be on the boat right now if not us?

Btw I don't think that Friedcat was hard working on "bringing AM into another level" , payment system, exchange, great hi-end immersion cooling stuff and container design without strong believe that he'll be able hold significant percentage of the network in near future. Also a lot of groups successfully developed <130nm chip, so this should not be a problem for someone like Friedcat.

Yep, same here. From 2.5 down to .51.. I'm more 90% AM of my original BTC.

> who else should be on the boat right now if not us?

lol so true!

OFFER EXTENDED, BETTER INSTRUCTIONS ADDED

G.ASICMINER & AM100 (TAT.ASICMINER) Conversion Offers
(Limited Time Only, Ends Nov. 22, 2013)
With Bitfunder blocking US citizens, requiring ID verification, and not allowing exports unless you have 250 shares, we know some of you feel stuck and are looking for options. Below are two new, temporary services we are offering.

We have decided to offer a limited-time service to convert your G.ASICMINER shares into AM100 (Havelock), AM1 (Havelock), or Direct Shares. These are fee-based services that require 5 microshares in fees per whole-share (or you can use whole shares to cover the fees for larger conversions).

There is no fee to convert G.ASICMINER to AM100 (fractional shares), but please note that AM100 shares carry a 5% management fee on dividends.

Additionally, we will be offering AM100 or TAT.ASICMINER shareholders a temporary service to convert their shares into AM1 or Direct Shares for the same fees.

Example #1: You have 10 G.ASICMINER shares, but you want to convert them to AM100 fractional shares. Pay no fees, simply push your G.ASICMINER shares to TATInvestments and email us according to the "G.ASIC > AM100" instructions below.

Example #2: You have 10 G.ASICMINER shares, but you want to convert them to direct shares. Push the 10 G.ASICMINER shares plus 50 TAT.ASICMINER shares (or AM100) to TATInvestments, and follow the "G,ASIC > Direct" instructions below.

Example #3: You have 1000 AM100 shares, but you want to convert them to AM1 shares. Transfer 1050 AM100 shares back to the issuer, and email us according to the "AM100 > Direct" directions below.

The following limitations apply:
1. You must initiate each conversion request before November 22, 2013.
2. Due to many requests, your migration might take anywhere from 1-9 days to process.
3. Beginning Nov. 22nd, these temporary services will be discontinued.
4. We can make no guarantees that Bitfunder or Havelock will not impose additional limitations on trading in the future.

what exactly am I paying for here? I thought that was the default option anyway.

It's an optional service to convert your shares now, rather than whenever the issuer passes them to Friedcat as direct.

Be it for peace of mind, or any other thing you might want to do with your shares once they are out, we're just offering options.

It worked out pretty good. I take back what I said. It's just stressful.. and thanks.

Then when the AM100 goes low enough, ppl will arbitrage the AM100s to sell into AM1s, depressing all of AM. You did not think this out.

TAT you've just added an extra 5% as a burden onto AM100 holders. I only have 200 of the AM100s but I'm sure there are others who have been buying the 100s trying eventually capture its full value as full shares. Now they will be sellers in the 100's, so I'm not buying anything yet to complete my full shares.  This was stupid.

Her btc address could be found in her sticky thread in Chinese subforum:

The biggest thing to take from the update is the blockchain-based exchange. Bitfountain would get trading fees, transaction fees, and the mining income from the block itself. I'm sure asset registration fees would bring in a hefty bunch as well. They could market it as, "As long as the blockchain is still intact, you can maintain your asset."

Pardon my ignorance, but can you expand on what a "blockchain-based exchange" is? Would be appreciated. What are we exchanging here?

Now that the US is on the path to destroy bitcoin stock exchanges, people have come up with colored coins, based on decentralized stock trading on the blockchain, allowing for coexisting with bitcoin's main function. Look up colored coins.
