You need to have a crystal ball to predict the price (at least in short-term). But there is one obvious pattern - after big dips there is a rally and after big rallies there is correction

Does this project have a beta version of the trading platform. How it will look after the launch of the project. It is interesting to look at it. Do you have a YouTube channel?

Go to www.globitex.com and check the platform yourself. It gives you access to live trading, depositing and withdrawing fiat, can open account in few minutes.

There are some people who were waiting more than a week for the answer. But eventually they come back.
The solution for your problem is choosing more recent exchange where they don't have problem with too many clients

If you are willing to trade just crypto vs crypto then many exchanges don't require verification. Your ID check is a must if you want to exit to fiat

Nowadays I think the biggest problem is to open the account at all. I am trying to do this with Gdax for a week now, the automatic face verification tool is simply not working. Bitfinex and ItBit is not taking new clients at all and I heard that Bitstamp is processing new clients for weeks on months.

Globitex, if you can open the account in one day, process the payments fast and provide good support - you will fly high

As long as crypto currencies will live, the bitcoin will be here because of simple fact - it was first. I also think that price of btc will go up with time, however, a month ago when it was reaching 20k my reaction was: "overrated"

Re: Bitcoin is not a store of value
by

First of all I am pro-Bitcoin and pro-Crypto-Currency, so let me get that out of the way first.

But the idea that Bitcoin serves as "a store of value" is so absurd and full of logical fallacies that I think it deserves to be explored.

First, in order for something to be "a store" of anything... it needs to exist in the present moment first.  Bitcoin's value comes (or came) from the fact that it is a usable network to send payments efficiently and cost-effectively.  Bitcoin's value in the present is totally dependent on network-effect, upon the fact that people are actually using the network (today, right now).

Now the idea that everyone else on Earth is going to buy 0.1 BTC, 0.05 BTC or 0.001 BTC and simply sit on it forever (HODL) for your benefit is ridiculous.

BTC Bitcoin in its current state is only a semi-functioning network plauged by high fees and long transaction times.  In theory, if BTC Bitcoin was the only digital payment and remittance system on Earth, and was guaranteed to remain the only digital payment and remittance system on Earth... yes... then BTC Bitcoin *could* serve as a store of value.  But of course this is not the reality of the world we live in where ideas are copied and improved upon and people gravitate towards newer products.

From the vantage point of someone who is entering cryptos for the first time in 2017/2018 it is far better to be an alt-coiner and have fast, secure payments.  As opposed to buy a slow moving coin to further enrich yourselves.

I don't think your arguments make much sense. Look at gold - noon would doubt that this metal is used as store of value. As you using it for transactions? Is it easy to make payments with it or transfer between people?

Re: What's going on with Bitcoin????

I think it's quite clear that bitcoin is becoming increasingly unusable for small value transactions. The reason is well known and widely discussed. I think bitcoin will become store of value with little practical use in daily transaction. Other currencies like bitcoin cash will become true transaction money.

You are very right, price plunge is the right moment to buy bitcoin. But I think we will see some more days with big dumps in future. I am keeping some cash free to buy more.

Big exchanges are infamous for closing accounts,  freezing funds and not giving proper explanations. They have millions of clients and dont have time for your questions. Therefore better work with smaller but reliable exchanges

transactions fees depend on number of people who are sending coins at the same time. If there is high volatility in the market - the transaction fee goes up

i dont know much details about this case but all exchanges have rights to cancel trades if somebody executed at unfair price due to technical problem. But communication from exchange blaming the customers is not right.
