I sure wish the Miner Wankers and the Developer Wankers would get together and SOLVE the scaling problem(s). Else they may damage the Bitcoin Ecosystem and discourage newbies from joining the community.
BTC to $5000 if/when they resolve all of this (credit to jonald_fyookball for that prediction, and I would agree with that number).
Never lost faith in Bitcoin. We can't, it's too important. Cryptocurrencies are the future of money and we are here as first witnesses. SW/BU is war must come to an end soon but I wouldn't say it affects the price too much.
Some of the forum members are thinking this, but I believe I am the first to put it in writing on a public forum.
The Chinese Mining Cartel is real and is an existential threat to Bitcoin.
Who are the members of this cartel? They include all the major mining farms, mining gear manufactures and traders. Some of the members are vertically integrated, I e, they manufacture mining hardware, operate mining farms and actively engage in speculative trades.
What does the cartel have to do with the Bitcoin price?
TCMC wields an enormous amount of influence over the price. We know the members meet publicly, and I suspect they also meet privately. Bitcoin price is definitely one of the major topics they hold discussions on. I suspect they strategize how to maximize the profit,
Why is this bad for Bitcoin?
History is full of examples on what happens when leaders of an industry collude to corner the market and control the price. Only they will profit and everyone else loses.
Will history repeat itself? Are we too stupid or weak to let them? Have we forgotten the lessons of history?
China has cheap electricity and wages are lower, that's why most miners are there...am I wrong?

In the old times I used to re-invest, now I have much less time and my rigs are often offline. Making profit with home mining is more and more difficult

I think DASH is one of the game-changing altcoins that will stay on top together with BTC in the future. People thought that LTC was at the second place, but I see no future for it. At least, it's a widespread altcoin, but DASH has all the key features to replace LTC. I converted all my LTC into DASH in the last pump, and I'm so happy about my choice Also I still mine DASH with my small rig.

It's the first time I see a recipe on Bitcointalk, very funny I don't know what will happen with the pre-sale on Yobit, but dev had a great idea I can tell you because my girlfriend is vegan, and despite what people say, she lives a perfect and healthy life. She's a runner and never had problems with diets, it's actually true that you can find all the necessary nutrients in vegetables instead of meat. Not mentioning what WHO released a few weeks ago. I won't stop eating meat but it's nice to know we have alternatives and I agree (sort of) with vegans ethics! For those saying "animals will die anyway" and "there is no other use for them" have you ever heard of pet therapy? It's scientifically proven that sick kids gets noticeable treatment improvements while in contact with animals, it's much less painful for them to go through the disease. Anyway, if you're not interested or not feeling comfortable while talking about this topic, simply don't post here.
