Re: Donald Trump's stance on Bitcoin is changing, the Trump pump is beginning
by

Trump surely won't have any problem with it at the moment, As he's trying to avoid offending anyone to secure every possible vote that he can get which fair enough does makes sense. He could genuinely be support mainstream adoption of Bitcoin but it's hard to figure out his true feelings during an election period.

Re: Did you start investing in bitcoin because of some celebrity ?
by

It's very important to be cautious when considering investment advice from celebrities or specially social media influencers. While ofcourse some may offer valuable information, Never blindly follow their recommendations. We've already witnessed many instances where individuals have lost loads of money by investing in cryptocurrencies endorsed by social media influencers and celebrities. It's very important to conduct thorough research on any coin they promote and make informed decisions, Always verify the details and rely on your own research before investing.

Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻
by

El Salvador is a fool for doing this. I highly suggest everyone to sit back and watch how this country will crumble because of Bitcoin. Encouraging Decentralised currency and making it tax free is not a good idea at all. There are so many things wrong with this but I seriously can't be bothered typing all that but anyone smart enough and knows how the world works will surely know what I mean  Smiley

Re: How does El Salvador benefit from making Bitcoin Legal Tender and 0% Tax?
by
humanvelocity
on 14/03/2024, 20:15:54 UTC
As many of us already know El Salvador sits on $84M dollar unrealised profit from holding since September 2021, A government that completely supports and encourages BTC got me thinking how it is going to work in Long-Term? Dropping the tax on Crpyto from 30% to 0% is just beyond me. Keep in mind that El Selvador is not a First world country, It is a Third World developing country. How are they going to develop infrastructure and invest lots of money into education and health sectors? Everyone now living there is going to choose crypto over their local currency which is gonna make the whole country decentralised.
I think we have the wrong mindset in the beginning here, I assumed that the OP is just thinking that El Salvador only rely on their Bitcoin investment. They have trade partners like US, and their Top 3 Exported Goods (2021): Apparel: Knit, Plastics, and Paper, and their top industries: Food Processing; Beverages; Petroleum; Chemicals

https://globaledge.msu.edu/countries/el-salvador/economy

So don't be mislead that Bukele is just going full blown 100% on Bitcoin as their main source. So even if it drops, their economy is going to continue and so they could have other sources to improved their infrastracture and health care. Removed their Bitcoin investment they will still going to survived. Their Bitcoin investment is just a plus for them.

Yeah sure good luck trying to run a country exporting plastic and paper. Any country that encourage Bitcoin as one of their primary currency they are doomed, Especially a third world country like EL Salvador. You are a fool if you think Bukele is smart, The day Bitcoins value drop rest of the world will be fine but El Salvador will be in Deep Sh*t. You can't just Gamble your chance with the whole country like that.

Altcoins will always remain dead. Majority of them just make false promises and give you all kinds of false expectations to put money in their pockets. Although I must admit ALTCOINS will never actually be dead because they will be used for pump and dumps. If you are lucky and quick enough to jump on a trend then you can make BANK with Altcoins.

When i am playing blackjack and trying to count cards then I do definitely prefer if they keep their mouths closed and also in general now that i think about it i'd still prefer if they kept quite TBH. We all know they are pretending to be on our sides and don't care weather we win or lose so I might as well be focused on my bets and try get their money and walk out when i am on top.

Re: Bitcoin Halving effect
by
humanvelocity
on 25/01/2024, 12:54:04 UTC
The impact of the halving will be much smaller than the previous ones, most of the volatility has already disappeared. Don't expect to increase the price with percentages (%) above 3 digits as happened in the past.

In the long term, bitcoin will stabilize its price, it is still cheap in this price region and we can still buy bitcoin with some freedom, it is a very good time to accumulate a little more.

When you say in longterm Bitcoin price will stabilize, in how many year do you mean? Like approx 10 years?

Bitcoin Halving effect
by
humanvelocity
on 25/01/2024, 12:18:04 UTC
As we all are aware Bitcoin Halving is excepted to happen around April-May2024. Dare I say whatever price BTC sits on today is irrelevant and can expect an exponential growth after May2024. If we look back at each time Bitcoin Halving took place in the past (November2012,July2016 and May2020) We have seen tremendous growth in prices due to supply shock. I think anyone who truly believes in Bitcoins future could not ask for a better timing to invest into it right now.

Even for those who want short term goals could easily see their investments grow like crazy by next halving which be in 2028.

"Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it"

This is just something i thought i would share with the community if someone wasn't aware but let me know what you believe and also please feel to share your thoughts on this even if you disagree with whatever i've said above.

There is a rumour going on about an potential $500 billion investment into BTC by the Saudi governments, As we know today BTC just dropped below $40k. I am having a very strong feeling that this would be the perfect time to invest, What are your thoughts about this and price predictions for next week if the this "rumour" becomes a reality?

First thing I see is "CAN I WITHDRAW MY WINNINGS WITHOUT ANY HASSEL?" and then check KYC rules and lastly this might be a vey unpopular opinion but I like to see the UI of website because if i am willing to loss my money in there atleast make it visually appealing so it doesn't look so bad after all.

Re: Is Gala still worth it?
by
humanvelocity
on 22/01/2024, 15:29:37 UTC
Sorry to break to you but Gala ain't going up anytime soon and I don't think that will change unless they announce collaborations with other networks since it already has very good foundations and strong backing from the crypto community. This whole process to happen could easily take a little more than couple years BUT the problem is will people give up on it or stay trusting the process is the question you need to be asking. Speaking of rough numbers if all that happens I'd say $0.400 could be realistically be achieved by 2027ish.

Re: Will Bitcoin Rebound This Week
by
humanvelocity
on 22/01/2024, 15:18:54 UTC
Not sure about this week has quite few people have mentioned, But if we extend the range upto 2-3 weeks you could most probably see a significant change in prices. I would also not be surprised if we see the price dipping to close 30's and see a bounce back from there marking it has a beginning of the up-trend.

You wanna know the best best way to start investing into BTC? Set aside a monthly budget that you are willing to comfortably spend and continue accumulating btc for a good couple years. Maybe in 10 - 15 years you will either be super rich or have lost most of it.

Re: what sort of btc transaction results in a visible price move on btc ?
by
humanvelocity
on 20/01/2024, 19:47:41 UTC
I am really confused about this question, If you send someone x amount of btc then the other person is also receiving x amount of btc hence it doesn't make any difference in the market. What could make a difference if you sell your btc in exchange of any other crypto then surely yeah i suppose you could cause a dent in the universe.
