I have around 1.3 THs and have been w/ Slush since I started mining in the summer of '13....the past few weeks have been extreme highs and lows..  If folks are jumping ship, where are they going?  What advantage is there to go somewhere else?  We are now back over 830Ths...we continue to have bad luck...thoughts?

I just made the change to 5002 and have much higher rejects through that port 58%, 43.4% and 28.3%; there is something fishy going on here.

Screenman, yes I consistently have rejects even after the pool switches.

Screenman - currently have 150+ghs pointed at the sha-256 but am receiving over 20% rejects using either BFGMiner or Multiminer (GUI)...I have another 800+ghs that I'd like to point at the east-us server but am not sure if it is better than mining with Slush pool directly given the number of rejects.

thoughts, advice are greatly appreciated.

i have 4 r9 290x cards and was hashing at over 838k but it has been steadily dropping with each found share...for the last 15 minutes...now hashing at 673k

from what i understand, you need the upgraded rights in order to perform some of the script commands...on azure i think by default you are automatically given these rights.  sudo -i elevates your rights into root

at the prompt just type sudo -i

it will make you root.

use sudo -i and it will make you root...then you can run the next set of commands.

I get permission denied when trying to cd to the new maxcoin directory

i finally got all four of my r9 280x to work with risers (they have molex on them) but I am NOT connecting them to the power supplies.  I have 2 Corsair 1200axi PSUs - 1 is connected to mobo along with two molex connectors to this mobo as well.  4 cards all have risers attached to them - 2 cards to each PSU.  Finally working...each card is around 73 degrees..and hashing at a rate of 735 or so.  Windows 8.1 and the latest catalyst drivers along with SDK 2.9 I think.  REPEAT DO NOT CONNECT POWER TO THE RISERS - CONNECT POWER TO MOBO and to the TWO MOLEX PORTS ON THE MOBO as well.  I have a Honeywell fan blowing directly on the mobo and cards too.

Forgot to mention the risers are 1x to 16x; I am NOT using the 16x port on the mobo...

i have 4 r9 280x Sapphire Dual-X OC version and my hashrates are appauling...what should be the proper cgminer settings...I can't get them above 580 or so...using risers and temperatures on all cards are well below 70.  Using latest Catalyst drivers and SDK from ATI all under Windows 8.1.  Really struggling here...any all help would be greatly appreciated.  Using a Corsair 1200ai PSU and Asrock H81 Pro BTC mobo.
