In the coming weeks, we'll have a prototype that we'll have a private beta to the early investors and coin holders.
Following that, we'll do some incremental and iterative development on the beta and bring it to a public test release.
For the basic coin wallet, we'll have that ready within a few weeks.

Greetings, thanks for all the interest, just a note to say that we're very much alive and we've been working on some branding with the first being a fresh website to outline the purpose, and intent of our project.
In meantime, we've been building the templates for our mobile app which we will be sharing some screenshots of very soon. These will include a number of mobile coin payment integrations that will help transition the coin to some real world use.
Of course, we will also endeavour to get added to coinpayments.net which will allow merchants to easily accept MPC as well as serve as the payment processor for our integrated mobile app.
We have a few other things planned, but will discuss more as they become concrete.

I would pm hunnaryb, he's been online and the nodes have been updated. Also, I received my coins yesterday so you should have to? I went for a tiny amount so I wasn't going to be bothered if it turns out bad.
Anyway onwards and upwards, what's the situation with exchanges and I do you need a graphical designer? Maybe make a nicer ann and have an info page of some sort.
I have been very much online and thanks again for supporting the mpc, I will do my best to make it good. Didn't get as much as I hoped to work on it full time but I will still put all the investment into good development use! I've been busy looking over the recruitment messages and thank you to everyone who applied, it was actually very overwhelming to see the talent available. I'll be announcing more details regarding what's coming near term and longer term very soon.
I'm still looking for a community manager to help run the social media. As always feel free to pm.

Basics
Mobile Pay Coin is a public blockchain enabling decentralised messaging, payment and notary services. It introduces, and integrates a decentralised micro-payment facility onto Mobile Devices as well as providing a platform for merchants and service providers to conduct business through MPC API.
MPC as a crypto currency carries the benefits of a decentralised currency.
-MPC is Fungible. One unit of MPC is no different to another unit of MPC.
-MPC is Immutable. Transactions are publically available to be interrogated.
-MPC is yours. You own the keys to your funds, and require no trusted party to manage your money.
Mobile Platform
As of 2016, Mobile Platforms dominate the consumer usage time when consuming content. It is therefore our focus to develop the mobile platform as comprehensively as possible.
The mobile platform will serve as a social platform that has messaging and marketplaces at its core. As a messenger, you can expect to connect with your friends, and conduct all the usual messaging features found in apps like Telegram, or Whatsapp. But taking it further, MPC will enable the transfer of MPC between users through QR Code, OnChain Public Key, via NFC.
Having a diverse and easy to use solution for transacting is bolstered by the decentralised market place which is based on the Open Bazaar code ported to Android. With this, we intend to allow merchants to easily create a store, or use the platform to conduct their business through our merchant API.
Adoption and Steps Beyond
MPCs goal is to strive for utility and user adoption. Our choice of developing for a mobile audience is something we believe will be what sets MPC apart from other crypto-currencies. The world is increasingly about being connected, is more social than ever before. Our platform lends itself to these growing uses and enhances utility for the everyday user.
At our mobile platform will benefit from encrypted messaging, making your chats anonymous at your choosing.
Payments can be sent to your contacts, by name, or to people not on your contact list either by NFC, or their MPC Address, you can also send and receive via QR Code. Verifying purchases and money transacted is immutable and uncensored. Once a transaction has occurred, it cannot be reversed. Micro payments for all sorts of digital goods can be handled directly in the platform.
Decentralised social driven marketplaces are now becoming popular as every merchant strives to reach a wider audience. Now, a merchant can do business with no middle man fee, in a trustless marketplace. Furthermore, merchants can now accept one universal currency skipping the worry of getting paid in multiple fiat currencies.

Nice update dev, all working here. Dev has been responsive to my questions and I understand the holiday period has been busy. Im sure we can expect good news soon. I hope you guys liked the paper wallet. I have some time on my hands so if there is anything I can do for some extra HIRE or just to help the project let me know!

You have direct contact with preen? I think the site will be great. I wonder if there are any other wallet features that would be useful.
Given the humble beginnings of this coin, I think the wallet is just fine as it is, clean and does what it needs to. Obviously the point is to help stimulate a healthy platform with lots of activity and that's the real power with crypto currencies. Think of all the mums at home working by clicking on ads etc. Now they can make some micro money through services themselves.
I think a messaging feature in that case might be useful or a chat, that's integrated to the wallet so you have a central place to go to to look for services.

It's for an update as our site enters its final stages of development. Here's what's happening:
Site Development
The site is almost ready for public use and will be ready for business in the coming weeks. We have been working on tailored services to help freelancers get the most out of the website. Our marketing campaign will be kicking off soon so look out for that!
Beta Testing
We want the website to be fully functional before deployment. Testing and bug fixes are constantly being rolled out and we are pleased to announce that we will be inviting beta testers shortly to kickstart the freelancing action!
Exchanges
With the festive season coming to an end we hope to have HIRE listed on a major exchange in the coming days. In the meantime, be sure to follow our social pages to be the first to know when and where we will be listed. (Be sure to check out subreddit page too as it goes live, credits to mattjack!)

As we approach launch we have updated our wallets so be sure to grab the latest ones below. Mac wallet will be coming soon after. Hey apologies! Been sick for the last few days, but I do have some great news! The website has been completed but we are looking to officially launch it soon. For now, we have our reddit up and running! Credits to mattjack for making it. The reddit will be used to not only look for job listings that reddit users have created, users can also introduce themselves as freelancers and to also seek technical help should it be needed.

That is baseless wild speculation. It does not give a time line. I can safely say bitcoin will not be worth more than US dollar in terms of market capitulation in 5 years.
We'll never have the market cap of USD. I'm sure there are some economists out there that can prove mathematically why.

Ha ha... nice one.Can't say I completely disagree with you; there certainly is not enough evidence to say for certain whether the cycles actually exist, or whether they are simply a series of coincidences. I do find it especially interesting that if we apply the idea of cycles, it points to quite a rosy future at least in the near term, at a time when other factors are really looking positive as well (tx rate, exchange volumes, upcoming halving, ETF(?), etc.). So, maybe just a coincidence again, but I also believe human psychology also factors in to this, and so there may be a cycle at play behind it all.
Humans have a very uncanny ability to fit correlations into two separate things that have no correlation and explain it very well. Its really hard to stay unbiased when you hold a stake in an asset that you hope to profit from.
