Long-term investment, I prefer to Altcoins that are already on the top list but the coin prices are cheaper than the other.
You can invest in these coins like Ripple, Tron, Cardano and many more.
Those coins will never be drop down to the ground because the network is secure and investors are confident that those coins will be able to give them high profits after few months or even a year.

I think you should get involved and investigate. there is a lot you can do in purchasing altcoin. I think saving with short term is better for cheap altcoin like the new one coming out of ico. yes, you have to be smart to choose

ethereum will always survive with the rising of waves and ethereum is strong coins with good community inside. we can see that many coin is using ethereum network and many of them is success. waves is a good coin and will increase soon but it would not defeat ethereum itself. many other coin in ethereum network that will be potential like waves and we should wait for this.

Since there are so many enterprising cryptocurrency especially altcoins and tokens projects that aim to change the world of business, which ones that worth our investment is hs a good and unique innovatif. The good news is there are many markets has already done the work for us by identifying and rewarding the most promising projects with high but rapidly increasing market caps. We can look at from site like coinmarketcap and another site and big exchange.

Currrently my two favorites are Siacoin and Pascalcoin.
The reason for their stability is that Siacoin has a real and working product and Pascal is an innovative idea, which is its own blockchain, using account names that are distinct from the pascal blockchain to ensure only the last 100 blocks are needed. Ensuring the speed, cost, and longevity of its blockchain. Other blockchains have to consider the entirety of every transaction that ever occurred, meaning larger blocks, leading to longer transaction times and higher costs.

 should really saw this as an opportunity to buy more and we should really not panic but I do believe that this emotion is really happening as of now which the tension would really be there specially for those people who did bought on peak prices and seeing their portfolio into large percentage negatives would really put you into a situation where you do have the doubts already either you would hold or would tend to sell for cutting loses.

Many people are selling their alt coins due to recent market crash. They expect big income when they invested on crypto yet all the prices dropped they only think for short term and not for long term investment, also there are crucial factor that making investors panic is the issue about FUD news and scams, they become afraid thus they sell their coins. But still im holding mine. HODL

well, I liked Ethereum as an altcoin and a new technology that brought new features at first. and I really find it interesting. but as days go by I am getting a little disappointed in it.
also from the start, it was all hype. spams everywhere. all the available social media that was remotely related to crypto were being spammed with numerous bots hyping ETH, they still do (not as big) and that is the main reason for the rise. but this kind of rise always has a cap.

another thing that I don't like is the maximum number of coins. not everybody may agree with this but I think a huge number (5x what bitcoin has) will prevent any big price achievement, because there always will be more coins to dump (high supply vs low demand.)

First, we have to remember that Waves price in June 2016 was $ 0.7 per unit, and it is now above $5 per unit. Which means that this increment was of +600% in one year. Waves is a "long term investment" cryptocurrency.
Waves will enable people to make custom tokens and create their own cryptocurrencies (without coding) and then launch their own ICO to fund their projects. This is great and very interesting.
For these reasons, I think waves will be a big tradable value in the future.

what i really like to invest in is some real cryptocurrency that is actually focusing on acting as a decentralized currency like bitcoin does and has positive sides to it when you decide to use it.

but when it comes to reality i am never able to find something like that so i always stick with bitcoin because that is the real thing for me.
and then i focus on the altcoins only with pump and dumps in mind and only do it to make profit. so i look for the coins that have a better chance of getting pumped hard. these can be small coins or big coins but the important thing to look for is whether they are at the bottom or not.

No coin is safe for investment, no guarantee there, if you are beginer and don't know about investment in cryptocurreny, you need learn more about it, because every something have a risk, seem like your wallet can be hacked, the coins price can go down and etc, if you already know about investment in cryptocurrency, I sugest you to imvest in Ethereum, because there is many users, and many company choose it, for example for bounty, airdrop and etc. I think this help you

When market is falling there are 3 tactics I use, First is to sell high and buy low to increase my holdings (works 50% of the time) if it doesn't work I usually switch to other coins and never come back to the one I sold if it is not lower than my selling point, Second is I cost average my holding by buying the dip of the dip of the dip and trying to be patient for it to recover but this needs research and confidence in a coin so you can hold it and buy some more, third is plainly holding and riding the wave. It depends on the scenario which tactics I use.
