Has anyone ordered one of these in the last couple days?
Emailed them three days ago and they said they were not taking orders

I had my order locked in before Christmas but sent a wire on January 3rd (between the Jan-1st and Jan-5th payment window) and haven't gotten a confirmation from him yet. Starting to worry a bit. Hoping he confirms within the next day or two.

Wired to Baikal Limited Holdings in Hong Kong

Hello,

I had the same experience but they replied just yesterday and confirmed the payment so don't worry...

Re: shitty amdgpu-pro mining performance
by

It seems the problem is the dpm clock control for the primary video card.  Setting power_dpm_force_performance_level to manual and then setting pp_dpm_sclk has no effect (it stays at 0).
https://www.phoronix.com/forums/forum/linux-graphics-x-org-drivers/open-source-amd-linux/871595-amd-delivers-overdrive-overclocking-support-for-amdgpu-drm-driver/page4

I think something with Xorg may be interfering with the clock settings, so I'm going to try running X off the on-board video.

So far trying to run the iGPU along with amdgpu-pro is just as problematic as it was with fglrx.  With the iGPU enabled and a Rx 470 and R9 380 plugged in, opencl crashes.

Code:
$ /opt/amdgpu-pro/bin/clinfo
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

try sudo command ,i think it will work

If we were both working on closed-source miners, these improvements would've taken much longer, or may not have happened at all.

Two heads are better than one, the open source ...That's why I switched from windows to linux ubuntu for 8 years til now not only for mining but for my daily life... even if you are not an active coder like me but you have decent knowledge in programing you can help and give a hand to the community

Well if you are a good coder then you know most of the time two heads are not better than one.  It's only for complex problems that there is a multiplication effect.  For simple code where the optimal solution is already known, I'd use another old cliché: too many cooks spoil the broth.

I think the silentarmy improvements we are seeing are an example of open source development working well.  I've known for several days that the the atomic_inc in ht_store was a speed bottleneck.  I thought if all the counters were in their own table, it could improve L2 cache hit rate.  The table would be 4MB, which is still large compared to a 512KB L2 cache.  In my discussions with eXtremal, he had an idea for using a single uint for multiple counters by using atomic_add instead of atomic_inc.  The two ideas together (and eXtremal's fast coding) made the latest optimizations.

If we were both working on closed-source miners, these improvements would've taken much longer, or may not have happened at all.

Dramatic CPU usage savings and PCIe bandwidth savings are now committed, thanks to on-device filtering of invalid solutions: https://github.com/mbevand/silentarmy/commit/146b8dc0b6618852e2f322fab51f3ed3739da07a

PCIe bandwidth usage dropped from ~100 MB/s to 500kB/s per GPU! This should really help those with PCIe ×1 risers. MAX_SOLS is now reduced from 2000 to 10 Smiley CPU usage should also now be close to zero. (Well except Nvidia because their OpenCL implementation implements busy waits, but I'll check in a workaround soon.)

As always, check the changelog which I always update in real-time: https://github.com/mbevand/silentarmy/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md

I just tried this update and i can confirm that  cpu usage is near zero  Smiley

also i can see 2~5% more speed improvement on my 8 rigs of rx 470 .. good work

I think you should keep improving speed rather than support windows for now,  because they have claymore miner already with decent speeds

while as myself on linux we stuck with the half of their speed on windows with claymore miner i just got around 45~49 per card for modded rx 470....

I hope to consider this in the roadmap....

v1.1:

- added Linux version.
- fixed issue with rejected shares after devfee mining.
- remove "-allpools 1" option if you use it and mine on miningpoolhub, suprnova, coinmine or nicehash pools.
- added "XnSub" support for Nicehash.
- fixed bugs.

PS. Read OP or Readme for updated samples of using on different pools.

Thanks  Smiley

""Please lower my min payout
Please lower my min payout
Please lower my min payout""

I do not understand, there's talk about GPU Miner or payments from the pool? It may already be enough to spam?
Yes. Copy from first topic:

Roadmap:
1. Add a button to website for set minimal payment threshold
2. Add a button to website for force manual payout
3. New silentarmy kernel integration
4. Support other miners (stratum, etc..)

Wait this buttons, please, don't this spam.

We have multiple instances reported of users not being paid, not being paid their fare share etc. This pool is a partial scam or is badly implemented. Details are in this discussion: https://forum.z.cash/t/is-coinsforall-io-legit/4453/81
Users will do well to abandon this pool. Using flypool+ZOGMiner seems to give 2x the payout!
Payouts good for other coins, but not for ZEC with this price. Every miner want got every his 0.0000000000000000001ZEC now and immediately, may be pool can't do this now, but I working on it.

Dear eXtremal

First Thanks for moving my balance from z-address to t-address...
Second I want you to focus on stability of the miner because gpus crash alot

Thanks again
