Thanks Frog.

Which DDR3 is the RAM ? DDR3-XXXX ?
Kingston 2GB DDR3 bus 1333MHz CL9

Unless you use PCIE Riser Cables, you cant Add all 4 Cards to the Board, due they Are Dual Slot.
You can Add 3 then, cause the 2nd Card will hide the 3rd Slot.
Can i use the cables and still keep it in the case somewhere?

I wouldn't use a case at all for 4x6950 GPUs on a dedicated miner.
There are many innovative caseless solutions on the board. And boot from a 4GB USB stick and go diskless (no HDD or DVD).
The atmosphere here is dusty, not sure if the GPUs gonna like it caseless.

With the PCIe entender cables (Cablesuarus.com) mentioned by badfrog this M/B would probably support 6 GPUs as the two PCIe x1 slots will work fine for mining.
6? GPUs o.O

Not sure if this will work well, it will help a little but the air will be distributed unless you make it so close to the GPU's.

Re: New bitcoin machine: To buy or not to buy?

There is 5830's in my store should i buy one then buy another one when i make some BTC?

PS: 5830 is for $254 and the 6950 is for $375.

I'd say buy in, but start small. You say you have a gaming rig, then why do you need an 890fx board? If you want to use it as a pure miner, buy a VERY cheap mobo with 2 pcie slots or even 1 x16 and 1 x1. get a sempron 140, you dont need a dual core. And unless you care about your power consumption, don't get a 5770, get a 5830 or even 6950 (in the US 58xx seem to be rare I hear). You could also consider getting a second hand 775 board with a pentium, or 939/AM2 board. Worst case, you will lose much less than with your setup.
I wanna leave my current PC -intel/dualcore- intact, for gaming and work Tongue
And get a mining PC cuz i will leave it running and have no problem it eating my current PC resources.

And the 890fx board is very cool with 4 slots for GPU's.

Do you have any suggestions for the board?

My fav. store has only those:
GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5 - AMD 890FX
GIGABYTE 880GA-UD3H . REV3.1
GIGABYTE GA-880GM-UD2H - AMD 880G
GIGABYTE GA-MA74GMT-S2 AMD 740
ASUS M4A88T-M/USB3 - AMD 880G

Otherwise, you could build a gaming rig with good mining GPUs, mine for a bit and then sell it to a gamer for good cash and little loss...
Yeah if i am done with mining (which won't be soon) i will sell it with a small loss or keep it.

This has nothing to do with MtGox.

They took him cuz he hosted the IRC for the lulzsec hacking group.

At one time OpenBSD would have been the top of the heap for security but as I've said times have changed.
But -in your opinion- it's still a good security-wise, right?
If not, do you care to explain more?

Hey Kevin, thanks for mk IV

Sincerely,

Pitchforkmedia smackdown
In 1999, I was working for Midway Games. You can see my name in the credits under "Special Thanks" for the arcade version Mortal Kombat 4, as the above poster was mentioning. You can see my name in the credits for the arcade (and some home versions) of Cruisin' World, Crusin' Exotica, Maximum Hangtime, NBA Showtime, NFL Blitz, Touchmaster,  Touchmaster Infinity, and more I'm probably forgetting now.
Shocked
A million thanks for MK 4!

Mt Gox can't tell the head from the tail.
Why would a hacker sell then buys what he hacked? I hope they are not thinking of this as laundry.

but look at openbsd.  It had a backdoor for years exactly because less people audit the code.
Not true, prove it.
