We do not understand why you're having this issue with two of your GPUs.
This is happening always with your EVGA 1080, and one of the 1070 Ti, right?
Have you tried the v1.9z version? Do you have the same problem?
Do you experience the same issue if you mine another algo?

Thanks for the replies! I have solved it by now, nothing wrong with your miner, maybe it was a little bit more sensitive. But it got worse and affected other algos like ETH, was a faulty PCIe power cable. When I replaced it, your miner worked fine!

No that didn't fix it. Same as before, forgot to mention that when the miner crashes, HiveOS reports GPU 1 & 2 need attention and the rig needs to be restarted.

Why do I get this error with miniZ? I have tried different Nvidia drivers. Always GPU1. Have tried no OC at all. Other miners works.

Anyone have data how a GPU nowadays will perform on Scrypt algo? I saw a USB Scrypt miner like  Futurebit Moonlander USB Scrypt Miner. I think it's doing like 4 MH/s. How about a modern GPU?

Yes apperantly there is some scam coins, and others just fails. But Zclassic I was chocked about, it had a ATH value about $200 back in 2018, then it just dumped all the way to the bottom. I mined a lot of them with my ASIC Bitmain Z9 Mini, it was the most profitable to mine on it, never ROIed because of that

Either stocks or PoS coins are made of thin air. They also have a underlying value in a way or another. BUT the value can be highly overpriced, when for example a horde buys massively. But that's with everything, look at some Meme-coins

LolMiner works just fine with these cards, as well. I'm running two HD7950s with LolMiner doing 20-25 MH/s @ ETC.

I'm a miner that stakes some coins like Cardano, Cosmos and Tezos. But the return of staking is VERY low, atleast for me. I calculated if I will invest $5000 into for example Cardano. I will get right now, 21834 ADA (price $2.24). I stake those at 4.91% in Exodus. I will get 1091 ADA ($2445) a year. It will take 20 YEARS to ROI

Don't buy the Bitmain Antminer E9! It's mining Ethereum, and we all know that it will go Proof of Stake in early 2022, then you not able to mine Ethereum. The ASIC can't switch to other coins that GPUs can. Well, you actually can mine other Ethash coins. But they are very low cap and has low net hashrate compaired to Ethereum, so your profits will plumber!

Yes they are still very good for many different algorithms as well. I have a bunch of them and they are very easy to use! Best GPUs I have in the long run, hassle free.

I have Nvidia 1000/2000/3000 series cards. AMD Vega 56, RX 5700 XT and 6600 XT cards. But Polaris is the least hassle free, that's my thought.

It depends. I have GPUs mining fine from 2017 when I bought them new (RX 570/580). I also have ever older GPUs like R9 290 and HD7950 that I bought second hand and they mines well too.

The conclusion is they can mine until they arn't profitable anymore. If your question is when they arn't profitable anymore, that's a harder question to answer. As I said above I still mine with HD7950s that are made in 2013, and they are still profitable, but it's crazy times right now. In 2019 GPUs bought in 2017 wasn't profitable

I have an couple of HD7950 and they can pull like 25 MH/s at Ethereum Classic. Revenue is like $1 a day. Power draws like 150 W if you modify the BIOS. Profit $0,63.

If you have them you can use them, but don't go buy some in this market. You'll probably overpay for them (like all GPUs), but they will be like the first ones to get unprofitable.

I don't think it's weird, I have lowered the core clock to just 800 MHz on the 290 to reduce the power, it's a blower style card and it overheats quite easy, and I don't want the fan to do more like 60% because if the noise.

Good plan, ofcourse. Now the prices are extremely high on hardware, the difficulty on the blockchains are high. You are getting very low amount of coins now, the only thing it's very profitable is because the bull market.

When you have free electicity you can mine when there's a loss for others, buy GPUs when in next bear market I say. Buy cheap RTX or RX cards when everyone is quiting

Yes it's the same coin. But it has forked. It forks away from ASICs. Have been on LyraRev2 and LyraRev3 before. Don't know what algorighm back in 2014. Never the less, it's a great coin. I think you could optimize 79xx GPUs a lot like on Polaris etc. I had an 280x before and that was even profitable in the bear market mining Vertcoin on LyraRev2. I want a HD7950 or such to play with actually. I think it's still profitable on Verthash..

I'm interesting how many Vertcoin do you mine per day per GPU? I'm mining Vertcoin with RX550/560 (they are mining like ~1 VTC/day) but I want to compare with older better GPUs

Just run 1100 MHz on core and 2000 Mhz on memory and you'll fine. Undervolt some like 850 mV maybe.

You answered your own question. Ethereum need more than 4 GB VRAM, not possible to mine with 4 GB cards nowadays. Well zombie mode exists but it's not worth the hassle. Better off if you can unlock all VRAM on the cards.
