There are no reasons to buy ethereum classic... I have never feel attracted by this coin and that is the main reason of why i have never bought it.

Just look at the price.. It has increased only because of pure speculations, everyone who is saying that ethereum classic will be a huge coin, are retards.

It is an useless coin, tell me, does it have any function? is it "usable"? Of course that you can send money with this coin, because you can sell them too..

But it is useless, and that is the main function of this coin.

I started to be involved in the crypto currency world just this year of July and the price of bitcoin at that time somewhere $1,300 to $1,800 and I wonder why it had a meteoric rise of the price in just 5 months.  Would it will be happen to some digital coins also listed in coinmarketcap?  Is there any reasons that it was manipulated or anybody behind on how this price dramastically goes up so high?   

I'm planning to buy some ETH, will it hit $1000 in 2018?

Hey guys, I am new to this forum. I have been driving myself crazy over which altcoin to invest in for the past few days now. I am between substratum and electroneum. I am open to other suggestions as well. Any way, which coin do you guys think will show the highest percentage increase over the next year?

In Argentina, a new tax is about to be approved that will charge profits for holding cryptocurrencies with 15% per year. (Source) This tax applies for everybody that made profits of more than approximately 3.500 USD per year, so everybody that held more than 0,25 BTC in 2017 would be affected.

This tax will be possible to be charged retroactively, but it will come into effect on January 1, 2018. So everybody that sells before that date, will not have to pay the tax for profits that have accumulated until that day.

Even if you don't believe it: Argentines are a significant Bitcoin holder group. A history of restrictive exchange regulations (the last "restrictive" phase lasting from 2011 to 2014/2015) made many people aware of cryptocurrencies. And at least one of the historical Core contributors is an Argentine.

So it's a pretty likely scenario that Argentine holders could move the price a bit. But maybe it's nothing to worry about: They could re-buy at January 1, so they get only charged for profits after that date.
