Well that's basically is a flaw, you lose nothing, if you bet against all players and win yourself. 
First, I will not place a single bet. Second, I will not be assured to win even if I did.
I will be launching a regular automated game similar to this shortly after this game ends. I don't want to lose credibility by manipulating this game.
I've put a few bets on this one, but I think the bigger prize will get too pricey for my liking... although 199BTC is a nice jackpot!

edit: the game ends within 14 hours. This is also kinda flawed since you can just send like 20 bids (0.2,0.3,0.4 etc, and hope noone else does that) before 199K block and it will cost you 40btc to win 199btc. (also don't forget to negate 0.1's guy)
If i was running this game (and had a service where people send their coins aka laundry) I would just double every unique bet before 199K block automaticly somehow.

You can't resist beating that 0.1 bet before 199k. I know many are just waiting on the last few blocks to bet.I don't believe this game is flawed.
So I seem to recall you saying the short term loan is used to stake someone for gambling? I am on a phone so I can't go looking now but who is the person you stake if that is correct?
I think you are in the wrong thread.
That said, this game is flawed as the game operator has an easy way of winning the game with a very high probability. By investing 201 BTC, it can bet on 0.01, 0.02, 0.03,
, 1.98, 1.99, 2.00, and collect every bets including its own.
Another player could do that too, but would have to make sure that other players have bet at least 7.22 BTC. Otherwise, the 3% taken by the bet operator would be larger than what could be gained, and the winning player will lose money.
Even if a player choses to take that risk, it is always possible for the bet operator to top that, unless this is done at the very last moment, with the risk of having bets sent past the 199k block lost if they were not included in the last block.
So I'm not saying that the game operator will cheat, but that the 3% fees are much more than fees, in that they change the game dynamic and allow the operator to get everyone else bets if it choses to do so. The operator may be honest and let a player win, but there is no guarantee it won't abuse its dominant position there.

I don't think it's flawed. And I have no plans to play, that would be unethical. I plan to make it a regular game. I just want to host it.
This is a clever one, as, in order to win, one has not only to place a bet in the smallest available slot, but also must cancel the smaller ones.
This is going to be fun. I plan to make this a regular automated auction game where every block is a game with a smaller guarantee like 1btc or something.

You should clarify whether bids in block 199k itself are counted. i.e. is it "up to" or "up to and including" block 199k?
Also, is it allowed to send multiple bets in a single transaction?
If I make a transaction with 2 outputs, one of 0.1 and one of 0.2, both to the bet address, does that count as two entries (0.1 and 0.2) or one entry of 0.3?
It would be better (from a spam reduction point of view) if you treated it as 2 bets. Then I can make 2 bets with one transaction and not pollute the blockchain quite so much.

It would be interesting to plot the amount lent against the number of confirmations required. Having to wait for 6+ hours makes it much less exciting than it was at the beginning.
The beginning configuration was never a sustainable setting. That was very attractive though. It must be balanced for it to self sustain.
All I can say is that currently he has been true to his word and returned stakes +1% after 144 confirmations. I have no idea whether his idea is sound or not and whether he can sustain it in the long term. Thats all I really have to say at the moment, my knowledge of poker is limited to the very few number of games I have played with friends with a few beers, I have no idea how the big boys play!

I also doubt I can sustain it that's why I reserve the right to lower the interest or increase to confirmation when the average fund level increases so much. It is a balance of making it attractive and making it sustainable long term.
