Did I understand the release of Filecoin Virtual Machine will support Ethereum Smart Contracts and NFT's?  If so is that not a big deal? 

Not sure if this has been pointed out anywhere.  My understanding is that in the case of Filecoin - the borrowers are Filecoin Miners and after spending 100's of thousands on Special Servers specified by Filecoin they then need specific amount of actual Filecoin in order to have more standing on the network.  The filecoin that is lent by Gemini, Coinlist and others, (my understanding and maybe I am wrong), is fully collateralized and the miners are not able to sell it if they wanted to.  If the above is correct and the actual borrowers have not taken filecoin can it be assumed that some other party took the filecoin to pay for other non filecoin lending defaults?  Eitherway this is a big black eye for Genesis, Gemini and Grayscale.

https://www.bitrefill.com is a legitimate site where you can purchase things with Crypto.  https://www.bitrefills.com seems to be a scam.  I accidentally used https://www.bitrefills.com and never reviewed the gift card and after contacting https://www.bitrefill.com they seemed very complacent and just said to contact https://www.bitrefills.com.  Why would they not stop someone from using theres name to scam people?  By not stopping this they are hurting overall acceptance of Crypto....

I have Filecoin vesting with coinlist and the vesting stopped several days ago.  Coinlist says its an issue with Gemini.  Wondering if anyone else has been having this problem?  I did research getting my own address and cutting out a custodian but seemed a bit technical.  I wish Filecoin had an easier way, (wallet etc), to take ownership of ones private keys.

According to the whitepaper IPBC leverages IPFS which stores files on nodes of the IPFS network, (I may have it slightly wrong).  Just wondering how that will scale and weather this may also leverage FileCoin which I believe IPFS will leverage for data storage.

P.S.: MaidSAFE was one I have followed for years who I was hopeful would do something like this but no luck.

Is this a centralized solution and is the only way to participate via ones bank?  I suppose the answer is yes. 

Did Vertcoin consider a blockchain based KYC such as Civic vs Yoti?

Decided to bring back the miner with some older AMD r290's.  After screwing around with linux/amd drivers for several days I finally tried the bundled solutions.  HiveOS was by far easier to setup the all the others.
