Re: [PPS multipool] NiceHash.com pool - higher profits than direct mining BTC!

You are correct bro ..
this is the first time see service like this ..

As you can see we'are adjusting the arbitrage level to a very modest level purely to give a minimum level of protection for miners so that the mining profitability wouldn't drop into unreasonable levels.

Also, there are many services doing internal protection measures and leveling to make sure service is optimal for all involved parties (even exchanges at some levels). Probably the main difference is that in our case we decided to do it in a completely transparent and public open manner since we're big supporters for open market and transparent services.

Kind regards,
NiceHash

That's no correct , if many company doing that , maybe the best company need to do that the exchange company like BTC-e OR Bitstamp , to protect the bitcoin not going down .
You need to look more for this addition , or you well lose more client's

I normally don't double post but look at this page my orders are in blue.

The mystery order is just under my orders.

So if I want to drop to 0.0096 this will kill my hash

So what is order #374774?

Hi, Phil.

This is no mystery order, take a look at the bottom of the orders list: there is a link to FAQ with explanation. We marked it explicitly since we want to provide absolutely transparent service.

Additional information: As you know, NiceHash/WestHash doesn't have it's own hashing power, it completely relies on hashing power sellers. And of course, sellers are not interested in selling hashing power below a certain level of profitability (currently -8%) - we've received several feedback from miners with these concerns. Therefore to sustain a long-term relationship with miners (sellers) we have to provide them at least a decent sustainable price. Otherwise miners (sellers) will go away and there will be no hash to buy whatsoever, or when hash power will be too small prices will go higher. Hopefully you understand this.

It is of no intention for us to make any money with arbitrage orders (since we're not running our own Bitcoin mining pools we have to point arbitrage order to external pools and taking into account variance and external pool fees, therefore arbitrage order will always basically generate us a 0 profit).

Anyway, this might not be our final decision, we're testing out this approach, but we have to find a way for long-term balance between sellers & miners expectations.

Of course, as always, comments are welcome, from both sellers and buyers.

Thank you for using our service!

Strongly disagree with this, and I'm a seller. Let the market dictate the price. If sellers don't like the price, they'll switch to another pool until the price comes back up. Anyone mining for -8% (-10% with fee) isn't really keeping an eye on their equipment.

Bottom line is you're costing people money. Let the market regulate it's self.

Was about to place an order, but will take it to MRR instead. I won't be using NH/WH anymore as a seller or buyer until this is resolved.

You are correct bro ..
this is the first time see service like this .. i well stopped my account in this service .. fuck you nicehash

Mine does not seem to work.

I get hashes from Minerd, but nothing reflects on the dashboard.
It shows that the worker is not active.

Thanks

Is DRK and XCO now the same thing and can be traded on same exchanges?
So if the Exchange says DRK then you can send them XCO?

Thanks

Hi there

Im new to bots.

How effective are these bots?

What type of return on investment can one look at?

If I buy the simple Bot and let it use 1BTC, how quickly will it typically make the money back?

I assume there are more and less aggressive settings!

Would love to hear from all you real users!

As a thank you to our customers for being patient with us as we move towards fulfilling our shipping we are instituting a chip credit program for all pre-orders prior to April 1st, 2013 (Including orders already delivered). This program will allocate a $25 discount per chip up to the number of chips you currently have on order. For example, if you have a Single SC on order, you will receive a $25 credit per chip for 16 chips (Meaning 16 chips can be purchased for $50 each). The chip count for each unit is as follows:

5 GH/s / Jalapeno: 2 chips
25/30 GH/s Miner: 8 chips
50/60 GH/s Miner: 16 chips
500 GH/s Miner: 128 chips
1.5 TH Minirig: 384 chips

Every customer with a current pre-order dated prior to April 1st, 2013 will receive a chip credit for the number of chips/units they have pre-ordered. What this means is that you will be able to purchase raw chips from us for $50 instead of $75 per chip, up to the number of chips you have credit for. We realize that not all of our customers are interested in or have the desire to make use of the chips themselves. To that end, you will be able to sell your chip credit to other people who may be interested in or have the ability to make use of the chips directly.

For our very earliest customers, the first three months of orders (June 23rd to September 23rd orders) will receive 2x the value of the chip credits. For example, a 60 GH/s miner will be worth 32 chips in credit, a Jalapeno will give a 4 chip credit.

You should see your chip credit code(s) in your account shortly, and you may do with them as you wish at that time.

There is a 100 chip minimum purchase, so if you are acquiring codes, please be sure to understand that you will need to order a minimum of 100 chips.

Terms: While we do not have the facilities or the ability to facilitate chip transfers directly, the chip credit codes are transferable from one person to another and we do not limit the resale or transfer of the chip credit codes. The customer is responsible for doing their due diligence when buying, selling or trading the codes, so please be sure to only trade with trusted, verified individuals. Codes can not be refunded, returned or canceled once they have been used or transferred. Butterfly Labs will not be responsible for what a user does with their codes and we are only providing the discount to verified, paid pre-existing pre-orders. Once codes have been redeemed and the payment process has begun, if you do not complete the payment, the codes will be invalid and can not be refunded or returned.

This seems fitting given the fiasco surrounding their products. Hopefully they have pure intentions here (not trying to buy more time) Decide for yourself. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with 80 creds yet.

She was all about it when the price was topping $280 a pop, and the earning calculator she was playing with was saying that 2ghs would earn some extra cash. But then of course as difficulties went up, and the price went down, and the cost to further invest in mining infrastructure went off the scale... She puts it up their with buying crap for my supra, or building a new gaming rig. "whatever" as long as your happy.

Luckily we have cheap electricity!

You're a lucky man IBCBen!!
