It is ok to sell your Bitcoin?

Yes, it is generally okay to sell Bitcoin if you own it and wish to sell it for cash or another form of currency. Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency that can be bought and sold on various cryptocurrency exchanges. The decision to sell Bitcoin is a personal one and depends on various factors such as financial goals, investment strategy, and market conditions.

However, it's worth noting that the value of Bitcoin can be quite volatile, meaning that its price can fluctuate rapidly in a short period of time. As with any investment, there are risks involved, and it's important to do your own research and understand the risks before making any investment decisions.

It's also important to be aware of any tax implications of selling Bitcoin, as the tax laws surrounding cryptocurrencies can be complex and vary depending on the country or region in which you reside. It may be a good idea to consult with a tax professional to understand the tax implications of selling Bitcoin in your specific situation.

Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX?

Watching the lately spot about Musk appearing on live tv this weekend for showing what all the hype is about and if he will actually have a mention of his favorite cryptocurrency doge, it seems the media are jumping all over this appearance.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWWzszskgmA

What are your thoughts about this North American appearance and what do you think he will do or say about doge or even bitcoin?
I think since Miley Cyrus is the musical guest he will have her dress up as a dog and call her doge. Cheesy
She likes cats and had dressed up as them on stage during her concerts, so you never know what these two crazy people will do on this episode.

Just another individual who wants to use his influence and make money out of it! Just like other prominent financial people who make negative comments for bitcoin but bought during the times they FUD!

This is another proof that market is definitely somehow manipulated

Unifarm Staking Platform: Stake one token and earn a lot more....
by
idrisalomagold
on 18/05/2021, 11:36:22 UTC

Altseason is literally going out there and this is the best time to accumulate so much value in bitcoin. I've been farming in Unifarm right now and this platform really amazed me a lot. Look at its current partnerships and collaborations, this is so much to an undervalued project having its current market cap of ~4 million. Disclaimer: Just DYOR before investing anything.

BTW, they are currently on launch on May 18th | 1:30 pm GMT this evening on their 8th cohort thingy  Grin. What do you think about farming and staking one token and earn a lot different one? For me, it seems like, portfolio diversification  Cool, good for the accumulation

Re: Did you bought the dip?
by
idrisalomagold
on 14/01/2021, 07:31:24 UTC
I though this sudden dip can be a corrective price action from impulse count since the price has managed to drop over 20%. However, it turns out to be accelerating further back for about 24 hours trading activities. Hence, people get to buy the dip price of nearly 32k had huge profit right now. I think this dip is a pure whale sell off and possibly a market manipulation given that it bounced back the price so fast. Considerably making the market highly volatile for a moment on bitcoin market... which in fact showing weaker buyers and that is the objective of getting out weaker holders.

Woohoo, we are now in the trillion market industry. This may be the start of the robust market that will be engaged by institutional players, retailers to achieved mass adoption. This is the confirmation of the bull market cycle that may target BTC price to reached 50k or more.

Re: Will we ever get another 7th Jan 2018 Alt Season?
by
idrisalomagold
on 06/01/2021, 02:13:28 UTC
History repeats itself, by means of repetition - based on market fluctuation and activities - bitcoin is targeting ATH to ATH this closed year ended 2020 and to earliest 2021. With a lot of speculations, we must be careful about the activities of the market right now as the latest huge transfers of more than <10,000 BTC had already diminished over time. So, we may see the correction for a bit this time. Alts season correlates to a decrease in BTC price dominance and price against altcoins (increased). Alts are already making a little increase in its price but we may not yet be seeing those ATH like what happen to the 2017 bull run, since the market of BTC is possibly not yet at its peak. Trying to see a little correction in order to hit another ATH. If a sudden sell-off will be observed in the bitcoin market, perhaps these alts season may exist.

Re: What exactly was the idea behind bitcoin?
by
idrisalomagold
on 05/01/2021, 05:47:41 UTC
Hello
Never be sorry for your point or what you think , I do think you have to understand the fact that bitcoins is actually something different for everyone. Bitcoins as a whole only have value depending on the person.
For some people it's a form of investments
For some people it's easy money
For some people it's a currency even though you might think that's absurd but many business have started using bitcoins now
For some people it's a way to make transactions happen internationally.
It is indeed a very different form and I do think only Mr. Satoshi can tell why he invented bitcoins but I do think it was to tackle capitalism and to have something other than fiat and stocks to invest it , something which is free from control of the centralized bodies. I think he wanted people to be more in control, more free if I may say.
Plus I do think that it started out simple but it became a moment after that. Bitcoins have been used by many countries to stand against the oppression of the state and the army. Take the case of venezuela. Bitcoin is itself a way to make your own case out of. You can use it in any way that you want. It's that versatile.
It's not just money trust me.
It's way more than that.

Based on a philosophical standpoint bitcoin is what people think about it. @OP makes his point of view and standpoint about what is Bitcoin cause in reality - Bitcoin hasn`t changed yet the perspective and issues underlying fiat problems and its vision (based on whitepaper) being a "peer to peer" payment system. In fact, people with little to no understanding of what is Bitcoin would think this way... Think again, institutions are not meant to control this system - it's for the people, right?

Re: Bitcoin is a new investment

The best way of making used of crypto investment was to hold it for a long period of time. In which invest and perhaps forget about it for a certain period of time like 5 years from now or so. Like btc, there are so many coins out there that soon may rise in its value in the future. Bitcoin as for long term hold is among one of the best investment we can possibly think of.

Re: Bitcoin a deep pullback @40K?
by
idrisalomagold
on 04/01/2021, 01:57:09 UTC
There is a saying that whatever goes up most come down. Some traders predicted a pullback @30K but got smashed. Can we see a pullback @40k?
Let have you thought on this...

This paradigm is different from the previous 2017 bull run which impacted the recent bitcoin market with an obvious sell off after hitting an ATH. Right now the market is breaking ATH to ATH. Most practically, these bullish activities may not likely correct yet as it is making another parabolic. $40k is not an ATH yet so we may not see corrections further but if it goes to 40k - we will be expecting significant retracements.

6,427.2734 BTC have moved a few minutes ago from an unknown address to another unknown address. What doy ou think? Another institutional investor who bought OTC? A lot of institution showing interest on moving their treasury into bitcoin.
May be new year will be the one for which holder HODL.

Happy New Year

Obviously these were from unknown institutions; accumulating bitcoin as reserved assets. Before it hits at this price level of 29k usd, there were no days that the transferred amount do not surmount to more than 10,000 bitcoin. So these 6k transfer you mentioned were among those accumulation.
