Re: [ANN] ICO EloPlay - Smart eSports Tournaments

This seems interesting. One question, are elocoins the same as elotokens? I see on your website that you get 50 elocoins for registering an account. Further you can buy 100 elocoins for 1 usd, which is cheaper than the elotokens for sale during the ICO.

Can you let me know what the relation between those two is?
Next to that, how can people buy elotokens after the ICO, do they need to buy them on an exchange directly or will you make some GUI that allows them to buy these tokens on the exchange via your website?

And how much is raised during the pre-ICO?

Thanks in advance.

Elocoins are not Eloplay tokens. That's two different things.

Here's info from Eloplay whitepaper:
At the moment, the main accounting unit and reward for the players is the virtual points called Elocoins. Elocoins are centralized and have a fixed exchange rate (1 Elocoin = $0,01). Elocoin is used for payment purposes and for rewarding tournament winners. It was implemented as method of work with fiat money.
Having Elocoin onboard allowed the team to test some of our hypotheses.

With time Elocions will be removed from the platform and Eloplay will use only tokens.

Apart from classic pre-ICO, Eloplay had order book for early token orders.
$200,000 were raised during that stage.

Thank  you for your questions.

Thank you for the answers provided. Mucht have overlooked this part somehow in the Whitepaper.

A fighting game as in playing it ourselves like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat? Or to bet on virtual fights between various animal characters with or without a fight we can actually see Smiley

Not a bet, an actual fighting game like Mortal Kombat.

I do not see the logic of a fighting game on the blockchain at this moment. What is the benefit of that? I get that with gambling since the blockchain makes it transparant and avoids scams.

How would you see a fighting game thats suits the blockchain technology? What is the benefit of a fighting game on the blockchain?

You'd be able to use the XBL tokens to purchase champions and hats, among other things.

Ok like that you mean.
Well personally I prefer (at least for the initial period of development) to focus on gambling games like the raffle, poker and some others (maybe wheel of fortune, blackjack). Otherwise it will be a few games of multiple categories while in my opinion it is better to initialy focus on something first before expanding your game types.

But that's just my opinion.

Hey guys.  These things take time.  This is still a brand new coin.  We have obvious development, a roadmap, and a vision.  People in crypto wants things to happen in the span of hours.  There is a dev who is competent, active, and is working everyday on the project.  I'm chilling here for the long haul and seeing what happens.  Either way, it is still trading above ICO price.

I agree, we should not get impatient. Everyone is excited about the burner and raffle, but rushing here is bad for the long run. Image you will rush to implement the burner and raffle but due to some errors it does not work or worse, people start losing coins or whatever can go wrong. Then you lose even more value than the coin does now.

Hi,

the first round of the Raffle will be in October? or November?

And is there a other way to participate easy and not over Myetherwallet?

Cheers

I also wonder on how to participate even when the GUI is in place. I mean you still have to have XBL, so people (who are not into the crypto world) still need to purchase XBL on the exchange. As far as I can recall this will be integrated in the future as well so that basically people without any crytpo knowledge can participate? Will this also be in place in November, or will this be a long term change.

The site have already change ?

Not yet.

We want to move fast and have the new website and Raffle + Burner (with a Graphical interface) by November. This is why we're not even bothered with updating much of the current website, it will all be replaced!

This means that the first time we can use the raffle and burner will be somewhere November? Or are the raffle and burner itself earlier available to play?

It will be available at an earlier stage (not long from now, according Gluedog). However in the earlier stage you cannot do this with the GUI so Gluedog and his team will write in instruction on how to do this before in November the GUI will be ready.

Ps. correct me if I'm wrong.

You can also use Mist to store and use your tokens. It has a much sleeker interface, it's faster and easier to use. The only downside is that you have to download the whole blockchain to your PC. I recommend using an SSD.

It will also be much easier to play the raffle using this wallet. I highly suggest you guys start downloading it if you plan on playing the Raffle seriously Smiley

Can't we just use the raffle with Myetherwallet? Personally I prefer not to use Mist.

Re: [ANN][ICO] Billionaire Token - Games on the Blockchain! 🔥 Trading on Cryptopia

Thank you guys for your support!

The volume on Cryptopia is amazingly high, however it is fake. Woke up to 312 BTC this morning, and last night it was around 100 BTC when I went to sleep.

This shouldn't matter at all in the long run.

We have applied for Coinmarketcap last night, and we should probably get listed today or tomorrow, so watch out for that!

How and why would these be manipulated. Only thing I can think of is buying and selling it back and forth, but that would mean it would cost large amounts of transaction fee for the persons involved. I do not think it would be benefitial to do that, because I do not assume that this will increase the price so much that it would cover the loss in transaction fees. At least it is obvious that it is fake. total amount of coins are around 3 million and total trade on one day is over 8 million. That is almost three times the total supply..

This project seems very interesting.

However I wonder why I cannot find any information about the team? Who are the people behind this project? And why can't I find any information, linkedin profiles and past experience?

I assume there is nothing to hide right?

And what about the legal structure? There are a lot of legal requirements and rules when it comes to gamble websites. Where are these covered?

Hey ifrietpani.
There's nothing to hide, it's just that at this point in time we're not sure we want to go 100% public and show our names.

I'm in the process of quitting my job and because of this, right now I can't show my linkedin profile over here and link it with this personal project of mine.
The way I see it is like this: On the odd chance of the market crashing, or any other sort of unpredicted failure I will be in a very bad position had I went public with this. My team and I will still continue the project no matter what happens - however if it does indeed crash I would not be able to go forth with the plan that I have to quit my job and go full time crypto-developer. So I would need it. I would need to keep the job I have to sustain myself.

But I wouldn't be able to keep it if they found out I had any other sort of personal project - it just doesn't work that way where I work.

What I can tell you at this point is that, if we are indeed succesful with the ICO (and by the looks of it - it's going quite great), and we will have enough funds to keep the project going and we go to a point in time where I finally realize my dream of being a full time crypto-developer, then i will link my linkedIN profile here.

About the legal structure, we are in collaboration with a legal representative that will advice us on moving forward. You are absolutely correct, if we will be allowing people to instantly buy XBL tokens from us, or instantly fund their gaming accounts with credits (so they don't even know they're playing on a blockchain) we will need to have the legal structure into place.

Dear Gluedog,

Thank you for your clarification. I have to say I preferred to receive some personal information about your team, but I can understand your decision not to do that.

I have another question for the long term. How do you plan to earn money as a company with this project. I know a part of the coins go to the team, but this is to limited to be sufficient on the long term (I do however like the fact that the percentage of the tokens that go to the team is rather low). Also with these raffels, no money will go to the future development. Are you planning to gather additional revenue by using a rake system in the future poker rooms or what is your plan to generate revenue on the long term?
