Whats the point??? There is no evidence paper money can transmit the virus. It is person to person contact. Burning cash is a hysterical thing to do!! Everyone making mountains out of molehills about this Coronavirus stuff. The common flu will kill more people!!! People freak out just because there is no vaccine, thats all.

Armstrong seems like a BCH/BSV supporter.Even Roger Ver is commenting under one of his tweets. Grin

BSV supporter?? Seems not because Coinbase doesnt even list BSV. BCH maybe yes. He used to be a vocal big blocker but seems very quiet ever since the insider trading allegations around the BCH listing.

I would think Indias demonetisation of large banknotes would also encourage distrust of the Indian rupee currency and banking system. Will they turn to Bitcoin though?? That is a big stretch.

There is not that much trust in Bitcoin yet. Its still very young.

The half-trolling "wall observer" thread in bitcoin talk seems to me like a better observer of bitcoin prices other than any of the well know technical analysts that focus on charts.

What do you mean by that, "a better observer of bitcoin prices"? The posters in the wall observer thread are good at making price predictions??

Re: Can corona virus or any other epidemic disease can collapse Banking?

Hyperinflation only happens when a government decides to start printing money to cover their spendings, but if they don't do this then there's no hyperinflation. Economic crisis on it's own doesn't cause hyperinflation, it can devalue a national currency, but not on a scale of Venezuela or Zimbabwe. Also, there was a huge epidemic 100 years ago known as the Spanish flu, it was way more serious than the coronavirus, and as you can see, banking didn't disappear.

Its crazy that people are freaking out so much about this Corona virus. If we look at the numbers it's quite a small matter indeed!! The clickbait news media culture is very unhealthy. It seems to thrive off fear and hysteria.

Markets are dumping and Cash is King for a little while as a result. I don't think banking or fiat currencies would collapse because of this. Roll Eyes

Re: Bitcoin's End Game

My guess is that once governments start circulating their own digital currencies, they will try to crackdown on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as we know them.

What does one have to do with the other??

Governments don't seem to care much about BTC. They are regulating it like a commodity and regulating the shit tokens like securities i.e. stocks. At the end of the day Bitcoin will probably end up like any other Wall Street traded commodity. Gold, platinum, crude oil, coffee, and so on and so forth.

Its not just Binance but also Poloniex, Huobi, maybe even others too?? This is quite a big scandal. Has this ever happened before? Exchanges banding together to overthrow existing DPoS consensus?
