Unfortunately, we have zero ability to control the price, nor the millions of dollars required to pull off such a feat. DigiByte is open source and decentralized.  We as developers have a very small amount of total DGB.  All of which we acquired through mining or purchased on the market over the years.

This drop has hurt us as well.  All we can do is to continue to do what we have been doing the past three years and continue working. It takes time to bring new resources and people on board and to train them and get new things completed.  Which is exactly what we have been doing the past few weeks. We are not going to release news without anything to back it up, simply for the sake of "pumping."

We will not answer any price or speculation questions so please do not PM us asking about it. Also, anyone accusing us of being "scammers" will be promptly ignored & blocked. If you don't have the ability to do your own research you should not be in crypto.

As stated many, many times we are not in this for a pump and dump.  Unfortunately, there are groups out there who move from coin to coin pumping and dumping.  The entire crypto industry and every major coin is in the red over the past couple weeks. Much of this is now due to the uncertainty of a coming Bitcoin fork.

On August  1st,  and through August if Bitcoin splits this could be a very turbulent time for all blockchains. This also highlights why DigiByte is in a much more stable long-term position than Bitcoin.

DigiByte is currently the fastest, most secure, most decentralized UTXO blockchain in the world today. This is due to the past three years of consistent committed development.

If you notice trading patterns for DigiByte differ significantly from other cryptos, a lot of this has to do with how widely distributed DGB is. Because there are no "central" bag holders like there are in many other cryptocurrencies our market cap is not artificially inflated. This also means we are susceptible to wild swings as mass trading psychology takes over. Often times you will see DigiBytes daily trading volume higher than its market cap.

that's like 33 million dollars worth of DGB. Why did this adress stop buying since 14th of june tho? And the weird persistenly buying 10 or 20 million tokens.

I'm in no way comparing DGB to XRP, however I'm going to stick my neck on the line and when XRP first pumped in April, it took a month of consolidation before their was another big push.  I believe that something similar will happen with DGB in coming months.  The main difference currently, is there has been a major correction in the market so it may take another month or 2 before we see the spike.

The good news is there isn't any panic coming from DGB, they're not being desperate and pumping out news in the hope investors will throw their money in.  It's business as usual which is how it should be.   

Agreed tho, I see 1000 sats in the near future and 2-5k end of year.  Plus if BTC is at $5000 I'm sure everybody will be very pleased.

What's the main reason DigiByte has fallen to this rate? Is there no development going on? Lack of (good) community? What are the expectations on DGB? Is there some news in the pipeline?

if you can read: i am telling you that there are happening remarkable things i don't leave cryptoworld because i am making alot of money daily. and love to be a honnest trader and to help other ppl making decissions! there are allot of FOMOS (Fear of missing outs) ppl , i want to warn them that there is nothing to miss out. ppl like you are helping scammers to scam to talk possitief about the coin... i will return on this forum after 1 week to laugh you out oke? because it reaches 200 satosi. bye

Don't be so negative people, just be patient. Things don't happen over night. The only positive thing about negativity is that I can buy low and HODL Just relax, take a stroll outside I don't know.. No stress.

Yeah that goes for many other coins as well, except for Digi. I invested three times with DGB and everytime I lost, unlike other coins. I lost more than 2,5 BTC in total. Also there was some row on telegram and the channels just dissapeared.

DGB has no proper team no social platform outside bitcointalk. It's nothing but a stupid scam coin.

i don't trust this coin annymore... the ppl who are buying 100BTC worth of coins are fucking up the market.... they selling it all @once and the market crashes, just after i buyed the coins... this is frustrating, i will o search for a 1 satosi coin like CV2 , that coin has more potention than this one . good luck everyone, it is going down to 500 sat again, maybe 100
