My love story with Middlecoin is definitely over since I saw it doesn`t pay unpaid (after 7 days).
I thought it is up to that I`m mining on different multipool now (which is pretty much more profitable), so I returned for short time just to start engine on Middlecoin, and return what thez own me.
but alas, my unpaid was flattened to zero as soon as my user statistics was updated ?!
I`m not returning to Middlcoin, never again - big shame for once great, the best multipool.

Your config looks perfect. I don't know what 123 miner is, so perhaps that is the issue. Downloading executables from forum posts is a no no. Learn to build from source. Have you tried Thirtybird's version of minerd? It's the most up to date for YACoin. It's at https://github.com/Thirtybird/cpuminer.

You can read my explanation how POS works at http://yacointalk.grokonet.com/t/calculate-your-staked-coins-with-coin-control/41

Thanks Groko for your replay, I`ll give it a try..
I have had downloaded win wallet from the link on the first page of this thread, and it looks different then the one you use for POS mining explanation.
do you have the link for that one ?

Hi all,

I was longer time absent from YAC mining (last time done with Mikaelh miners for GPU last September) but even thou it did bring me the best overall profit so far (I really like the coin Smiley, I was forced to abandon as I moved to different town, and Rig left on old location becoming remote-one... so after some experiments with TC after N changes - Rig would pretty much Crash..  very hard to administer it remotely via Teamviewer - so I left GPU part on multipool.

I hope you guys will forgive me Wink

 and now I would like to mine some YAC with A10 CPU, POS mining.

Can you please tell me first  is it worth it ? I mean i would just leave it mining on the CPU of this GPU rig , not expecting any major result, just to have it running as the rig spends electricity anyway.

Which miner should I use to try for AVX or AVX2 ? and which version of wallet ?

which settings ?
as I tried with this bat and conf and there was no connection between miner (123 miner) and the wallet:

minerd -a scrypt-jane -o http://127.0.0.1:7689 -u igy -p sa

rpcuser=igy
rpcpassword=sa
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=7689
port=7688
daemon=1
server=1

and no connection ? what am I doing wrong ?

an if i understood, if I want POS, i just need wallet to be left not-encrypted ?
some hints for POS ?

thank you very much in advance !

"Followed by an istant drop back to original prices.. "

"problem" is that even at that price YAC is more profitabile then LTC, so miners just dump it.. this prevents price to really rise like somedays..

WOW 100 percent jump ! go YAC go !! Cheesy

Followed by an istant drop back to original prices ...  Cry

The spread is insane on YAC. After the last time I logged in I bought 10kYAC @ 0.05mBTC and could have sold them at 0.1mBTC even befor logging in again today. It hasn't been decided yet where it wants to go, but if it wants up it will be damm fast. 25kYAC market buy on cryptsy or bter and we'd quadruple for that moment.

yeap shame..
I buy every small dump I have funds for, this is the least thing I can do for YAC, but seems like rarely anybody fallows..

by

So, for solo mining CPR with GPU using GPU miner we all use, it should be something like this:

start  copperbar --scrypt --worksize 256 --thread-concurrency 28160 --shaders 1792 -I 18 -o http://127.0.0.1:7873-u x -p xxx  --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1500 --auto-fan --temp-target 73 --temp-cutoff 85 --lookup-gap 2 -g 1 -Q 0 -s 1 -E 5

this is for 7950..

and the conf file in appdata :
listen=1
gen=0
server=1
daemon=1
rpcuser=x
rpcpassword=xxx
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=7873

CopperBars-qt is up and synced, but I can not connect to RPC port.. cgminer says no connection or wrong pass.. what can be the problem ??
windows firewall is off..

what is wrong ?

Also, is there some P2P pool working ?

Get rid of shaders, they are not needed. Change your Thread concurrency to 41216 and unless you renamed the executable, it is coperbar, not copperbar.

thanks for the tip about TC 41216 Wink .. now the best for me, with best good/orphaned ratio is:
------------
 cgminer --scrypt --worksize 256 --thread-concurrency 41216 -I 17 -o http://wk1.botpool.net:6020 -u xxx -p xxx --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1550 --auto-fan --temp-target 73 --temp-cutoff 85 --lookup-gap 2 -g 1 -Q 0 -s 1 -E 5
-----------------

I lowered Intensity to 17..
.. this is for 2*7950.. I have 8GB ram..

Is there any data available that illustrates the daily payout of middlecoin vs simply mining LTC and converting it to BTC?

thanks Paul.. you must be very luck then, as I have some similar 5-chain, 6 chain results, and for about 12-13 hours nothing.. so I quit for now....Thou why should I complain when others  having numerous rigs found nothing as well Wink

maybe that  is the owner of http://middlecoin.com/  ? and all the miners on his pool are one user on the other pool (most profitable scrypt pool at the moment ? Wink

maybe LTC was most profitable at the time picture was taken ?  Wink

The miner works fine, it does exactly what mtrlt said it would.  So really, stop fucking complaining about it, especially if you didn't donate (like I did).  It's based on HP7 code so if/when mtrlt or mikaelh update it to HP10 it will certainly run much quicker than HP10.

Incidentally I have 2 x 7950 and a crappy quad core with code I have compiled myself.  I have also tweaked a few things too (but nothing like the HP10 improvements) and have minded 2 blocks with it in about 20 hours.

OK good,

some schreenshot of that phenomen ? Wink

how did you setup, GPU doing the test, or ?
