I think all of this will help fuel 2018 as the year of DEX's. It is long overdue.

I do not know whether this platform will succeed long term, no-one does. But consistant user friendly software is a big plus in getting main stream adoption. Waves is more than a coin and I think it will have a good chance to succeed. But there are some other good platform coins too.

I also read that Waves will embark on a big promotion campaign in 2018, just at the right time in my opinion.

I hope this project is a survivor project with ICO's. As others fall foul of Government regulation.

It's good that have a lot more developers now, I think it is what this project lacked, but to be expected when crypto was in a bear market.

They are quick to delist coins though and sometimes on mass like with the Waves tokens they had listed there.

I have always liked the user friendly approach of Waves and recent approval of the code by a respected Swiss Cryptographer. But I think it will awats suffer a bit for being based in Moscow.

Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments
by

Railblocks  is nothing compared to  the  big  Giant  IOTA.

It's   rising only thanks  to  the big  moon  of IOTA.  The team,  the  dev, the  tecnlogy  the fact that IOTA  will implement smart contracts,  wolskvagene, Bosh, microsoft... railblock is  nothing  compared to this.

Railblock  is speculation and immagination, IOTA gonna   the  reality of the  next  5  years.

So  make  your  choise,  guys

I  admitt  that railblock  has  been  a  good  thing for  people  were making faucets and captchas in the last summer,  when its  worth was nothing  than some  cents...

I want  to see  its price  down , cause  I don't  like  when  I  see  a  potencial  coin and  I have not  bought it  on the  dip.

And   now it's not  the dip (and  I don't  hodl  shit coins), so I  won't  buy rail

I keep reading worse things about iota from respected people. This might change, but at this time  Railblocks appears to work as a currency, where as iota that promises at lot does not appear to have its currency token part even working yet. let alone the IOT part.

why is there no official offline wallet up for download some where? I have seen some older ones but why not officially support one?

For legal reasons Ripple cannot officially support a consumer wallet on-line or off-line. But I think you are safe to use ones verified by xrpchat.com users.

Re: [ANN] MonetaryUnit [MUE] - X11. MasterNodes. Funding. Governance. Services. Devs

How you want build a masternode network with this colateral input level of 500k MUE ? If MUE cost 2$ masternode cost 1 mil. $  That is more as DASH masternode now.
Why not 10k or 50k. Network need more masternodes then 142 (But now is only ONE masternode online and 45% profit from all blocks go in one hand)
Looks like you want only small amount of masternodes for early adopter or insider. This is against decentralisation concept.
Why? Explain pls.

It is what was voted on at the time. But with the the new Governance system it could change in the future. Until then there is masternode shares sometimes available at mymue.com

Hello friends. When I bought this RiptoBux 100 Satoshi before. Now it costs 5 satoshi. And so I understand the developers completely abandoned this coin? Or is there any positive news ??

Sell and move on, but you should remain interested in the Waves platform.

if not already posted, here is an impressive list of coins on blocknet exchange, many tested and working...

https://block-node.info/index.php

I assume the 'not compatable' Ethereum tokens are just a tempory matter. As I thought ERC 20 tokens were in the roadmap.

Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS

Hhhm, I have a few questions about the Stratis ICO platform launch

Who is actually going to use the ICO platform when its done? Are we talking corporations and businesses? Because thats not going to happen without huge regulation being in place..loads of ICOs and most of the scene is turning into a scam with crap being launched left and right

If we're talking new alt coin projects, what advantage does Stratis have over Ethereum? Im not seeing any advantage here whatsoever in the long term, its simply Stratis re-inventing the wheel here and trying to take its piece of the pie

The Stratis ICO platform also isnt offering liquidity - its not an exchange like Cobinhood where ICO tokens get instant deep liquidity on launch. The issue now for ICOs is not whether they can launch an ICO (which is easy) but whether they can get LIQUIDITY post ICO and have the post ICO process managed more smoothly.

Until those are made clear, seems a lot of questions unanswered and its all hype, FOMO

I don't think Ethereum has actually proved it can do much well yet. Safer but more limited Smart Contracts may go in favour of Stratis and others like Ardor.

Instead of a slap you can tell them that in time they will stop worrying and become numb when a crypto currency goes down or does not move up. I think XRP was the first coin to make me numb.

Yes gold is still relevant, crypto is still an experiment and can be hacked. It is easier not to lose your gold.
