There is 1.5 million max PoW coins and a IPO of 1 million coins, Does this mean that there is only 500,000 coins left that can be mined or is the amount of PoW coins completely separate from the IPO?

a p2pool uses a different technology to mine.. it creates a secondary "cryptocurrency" (called a share chain) which has a lower difficulty and therefore shares (blocks of the share chain) are found every few seconds by everyone. like the regular shares on a normal stratum pool. (p2pool uses stratum as well)
now if you find a share-chain block (share) which has a difficulty equal to or higher than the difficulty of Cypherfunks, you find a cypherfunk block. the generated coins from this block are instantly paid into the miners wallets, that were active in the mining required to find this block.. comparable to eligius.st mining for bitcoin.

What we need is a website where musicians can upload their music for people to buy. The website would have a 15-30 sec sound bite for the potential buyer to listen to and decide if they like the song if they do then they purchase the song using Cypherfunk. The musician would be able to choose how much they want to charge for each song but it would have a max limit as to not have it set so high no one would even consider it. This would tie the coin into what it is actually about. More features could also be added to it such as paying a musician to have them develop a song for you etc.

Poolers is absolutely correct in his description and we do need MORE awareness of coino in general. One of the things that needs to change is the activity here in this thread. We really need to move the discussions OFF of the coinoforum and bring them back here.
The activity here is giving the impression nobody is active, this is not true because we have quite an active forum on coinoforum.
I think discussions on coinoforum should be left to promotions and non-coino talk between coino enthusiasts and that the real discussions need to come back here where people starting out will more likely discover it and join in.
I honestly couldn't agree more! Since people seeing this having activity, people seeing how many people love this coin and want it to succeed and how great the community will bring in more miners and investors. But right now we have the exact opposite, This post has almost no activity and what little it does have is pools advertising and people saying it is dead. How is that going to look to potential investors/miners? Do you think that will persuade them to jump on board with Coino? Because it won't. only 1,3mh/s i should make about 80k per hour, but with pandapool i make only 50k, i've already tested this multiple times, there is something fishy there
Yeah, I just looked at the estimated earnings list on both pools. Scryptominers a person with 4.5 mh/s makes 6.58 million a day and a person with 4.8 mh/s on pandapoolinfo makes 5.35 million a day. This is just estimates but it is still off by quite a lot. i'm starting to think that pandapoolinfol is a scammer, when i mine with scryptominers i get much more, around 50% sometimes, i'm pretty sure that it isn't because of the random reward...

Why hasn't the Dev said anything about what's going on and tried to come up with a reason why it is happening and a possible way to fix it? The miners are seriously getting screwed over.

Judging by the decling network hash, seems like its not going too well.
It's not going well because people are giving up on mining the coin simply because it isn't on an exchange yet. I have no idea why they expect it to be on a exchange 3 days after launch but they do. All these big miners leaving because it isn't on an exchange are going to be the reason why it will be hard to get on one because no exchange is going to pick up a coin that they don't see promise and growth in. Mine isn't syncing either. I'm stuck at block 15915 as well. Stopped about 18 hours ago, was working up until then. I hope this isn't a permanent stoppage. I have several hundred thousand coins in my wallet. And yes, I have the latest client.
So I got it to work. First make a back up of your wallet.dat file (If you haven't already), Then re-download the latest client just to make sure you have the right one. Then go to the "Roaming" folder (If you are using windows, if you are using mac or linux go to where ever that folder would be on that OS) and delete the whole thing. Then run the karma client and let it sync either past where it usually gets stuck or all the way doesn't matter, Then close the wallet and replace the wallet.dat that it generated with your back up and relaunch the client and it should be fixed.Re: [ANN][KARM] Karmacoin - 6 Exchanges - Most Profitable 10 Days Straight
