Mine staked again today. 
I have never gotten it to stake. Could you explain what you did step for step? Please?Here's what I have done:
Download latest flavoured wallet
Backup wallet.dat
Close wallet
extract sync-qt from zipfile
delete old sync qt
start new sync wallet
make sure anti-virus/firewall doesn't block connection
I had to close my wallet twice to get it to sync, no problems since.

I have not used the bootstrap. As far as staking goes, I leave my wallet running 24/7 unlocked for staking. I've had 3 stakes in 2 days. Hope that helps.
Not bad hashrate AMD, but nVidia gtx 750ti's do 2.2 mh/s under 40 watts.

Please keep in mind by the time July is here, nvidia will most likely have already launched the new maxwell chips with superior efficiency. Factoring the time lost and increased difficulty, it is hard to justify this purchase since it is blanketed with uncertainty and no guarantees.

Indeed. That's really the only sane and mature attitude to take right now. It has a chance, just as any other crypto. What is silly is to whine about the evil whales and 'manipulators' spoiling your hopes for instant wealth. Please people, this is altcoin. So many cheers of enthusiasm were uttered at the amazing network hashrate during PoW. Was it not perfectly clear, and to be expected, that this was largely due to big players looking to do what they always do, namely mine the crap out of a launch and turn a quick profit? And why not? That's the nature of this business. If you like the coin and want to stay in fine. Great. And fine to sell. Oh, and one more thing - the term 'weak hands' is misused quite preposterously on this thread. It's a term from equities, commodity and forex trading and it signifies a situation where someone is heavily leveraged on margin and gets flushed out in a down-market by the threat of a margin call or otherwise unsustainable losses. The big sellers of this coin are not 'weak hands'. In general they are actually the stronger players, with the ability to move the market. Anyway, do what you want and stop all this whining about the coin being manipulated. Nobody with any sense gives a shit. This is altcoin, bitches. Full disclosure, I own 132k blackcoin and wont be selling now because a) the price is low, and b) I can afford to take a chance on it. Period.

Let's better think about promotion and dev team support and don't lurk at Mintpal too frequently.
A thread of over 200 pages is a big enough sign that there is a community behind the coin. Not just whales.
I believe we need more adoption of this coin and the staking needs additional clarification as it seems that many people are left confused about how the wallet mining occurs. If the coins staking regenerates at a faster rate then people would be more inclined to spend. I have a hunch that a vast majority of people are currently holding the coin uncertain about the real returns of the stake.

let me clear up some confusion, i just woke up and saw the price had halved. the most obvious reason that this has happened (to me, at least) is because a lot of people, especially newer miners looking to get in on the action with BC got too discouraged over the fact they couldn't work out the POS configuration for the wallet and inadvertently dumped their coins and abandoned ship because they are crying that the dev has a life away from his computer.

Agreed. These kids think they are entitled to get rich in no time. Please note the launch of this coin is less than a week old, what could you possibly expect?

i already did @ 3099 on mintpal yesterday. Dont think you will be able to sell over 1600 soon...Take it to the grave if you like, but this is NOT mint nor anywhere near the professionalism. Talking about mint, that dead cat bounce did it no good, now headed under 30.

I've tried many pools, some of them were really good but p2p rules them all! Just check for a low ping node and you are setteled ;-)

Less constant payment compared to dogehouse but higher amount when you look at it over several days... quite a lot more actually
just check http://p2pool.jir.dk/dogecoin/ and pick the one with the lowest ping... they are all connected so it doesn't matter for block finding on what node you are.
getting half that at similar hash rate... how long have you mined at this pool?
3.5 days non-stop, very important to stay active as p2p uses PPLNS ...
mining p2p is really fun, yesterday evening I was wondering if i should not switch to normal pool again as my payout for that day was low, then suddenly, boom within 1 hour: 6,265.43458471 and 5,319.97200566 and 5,079.28225964 doges, so 16+k within 1 hour. 3 hours later I lookt at my payout for the day and saw it was all gooooooood
