I still have NPXS tokens so how to convert them into Fx token in official I didn't see any option to convert these into this one? Is that swap has been finished or new phase will take place?

The conversion of 90 days period has been closed, so now the only option we have in Xwallet is to stake the PundiX coin and start accumulating the F(x) coins. Otherwise, you can exchange your PundiX coin and start converting them to the F(x) coins.

I just update my Xwallet but there is no option to exchange or convert them into F(x) coins? Maybe I am missing something or not following the procedure correctly kindly give me link how to do this?

Hi,
Token conversion has been ended (last day was July 14 2019). The only way to get FX token now is by staking / purchase the token on the exchange.

Glad to see we have this thread already, all we want to know about the project is available here.
I am a holder of PundiX and I might consider staking my NPXS for Function X, but right now I'm in the process of accumulating more so I will enjoy a good staking reward based on the decent amount of PundiX I will stake.

Good luck to this project and to PundiX, hopefully this unstable market will end soon so we can see some great progress on value.

Thank you for your kind words and support.

Pundi X has successfully completed integration support of its XPOS module on X990 made by US-based Verifone, one of the largest providers of traditional point-of-sale (POS) terminals in the world, to allow a wider network of retailers to accept payments in cryptocurrencies.

really? Is there a related article?

here it is: https://medium.com/pundix/pundi-x-successfully-completed-its-integration-support-for-verifone-x990-to-enable-crypto-payments-9eabd22a4dca

There is a tweet from Verifone as well: https://twitter.com/verifone/status/1158704274324557824

Zac Cheah (CEO and Co-founder) and Pitt Huang (CTO and Co-founder) from Pundi X share with us what Function X is all about, our motivation behind creating it, and how it will power this new era of the decentralized world.
The 5 key components of Function X are:
- Function X Blockchain
- Function X OS
- FXTP (Transmission protocol)
- IPFX (Decentralized file storage system)
- Function X Docker
https://youtu.be/z-EfzJXkJAw
More details added to help community to know more about Function X.

What is f(x) chain?
f(x) chain is a high performance and secure public blockchain. High speed is achieved via both software and hardware implementation (XPOS, XPhone, etc.). More information on the f(x) public blockchain is available in other sections.

What is the f(x) Operating System?

The f(x) Operating System (OS) is an Android-modified blockchain-enabled operating system. Users can switch seamlessly between blockchain and traditional mode. In the blockchain mode, every bit and byte can be fully decentralized including calls, browsers, data storages and text messages. DApps are also housed in the f(x) OS (we will create a strong DApps ecosystem by allowing easy porting of current mobile apps; more on that in the following sections). In regular mode, it supports all Android features including Android apps. More information on the f(x) Operating System is available in the next section.

What is f(x) FXTP?
FXTP is the Function X transmission protocol. As the name suggests, it is a fully decentralized transmission protocol, similar to HTTP. It will allow total decentralization and P2P transmission of data in a distributed network. More information on FXTP is available in the f(x) FXTP subsection.

What is f(x) decentralized docker?
Decentralized docker, i.e. DDocker, is an open platform for developers to build, ship and run distributed applications. More information on the f(x) decentralized docker is available in the f(x) DDocker subsection.

What is f(x) IPFS?
InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is a protocol and network designed to store data in a distributed system. More information is available in the f(x) IPFS subsection.

Dear Pundians, it’s the time of the month to recap our progress! July monthly report is now available. In this month, we have several tech accomplishments, including integration with VeriFone X990, the Android-based Point of Sale device made by leading manufacturer, XWallet’s Telegram chat integration, Samsung Blockchain Wallet integration and more. We’ve also worked hard to spread the words with our partners and in the important conference, educating more people about the blockchain technology.

Here’s the INSIDER for you to catch up 👉 https://medium.com/pundix/monthly-report-a-recap-of-activities-in-july-2019-7585e1488601

All this is really cool! Pundi X keeps delivering every month as always! Anyone knows where can i find the information about Dubai and Pundi X? I heard that Pundi X is working with Dubai government? True???

Hi, please refer to this official article https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/dubai-to-offer-digital-payments-on-pundi-x-technology-300726736.html
Updates will be published soon.

Pundi X just had a meetup in Dubai: https://twitter.com/pundixlabs/status/1153709460214280192

i saw some videos on the XPHONE and it looks interesting.
as far as i know, the FX OS is a modified android ? can i just install the OS on any phone ?

Hi,
The f(x) Operating System (OS) is an Android-modified blockchain-enabled operating system. Users can switch seamlessly between blockchain and traditional mode.
In the blockchain mode, every bit and byte is fully decentralized including your calls, messages, browsers and apps. When in traditional mode, the f(x) OS supports all Android features.

We will continue to release more information as we progress.

Please stay tune.
FUNCTION X WEBSITE

GENERAL INFORMATION

What is Function X?
Function X is an ecosystem built entirely on and for the blockchain. Everything in f(x) is totally decentralized and secure, which means that the application source code, transmission protocol and hardware can be part of the decentralized network. In fact, every bit and byte in f(x) is part of the blockchain. The f(x) Ecosystem consists of five elements: f(x) operating system, f(x) public blockchain, f(x) FXTP, f(x) docker and f(x) IPFS.

What is f(x) chain?
f(x) chain is a high performance and secure public blockchain. High speed is achieved via both software and hardware implementation (XPOS, XPhone, etc.).

What is f(x) FXTP?
FXTP is the Function X transmission protocol. As the name suggests, it is a fully decentralized transmission protocol, similar to HTTP. It will allow total decentralization and P2P transmission of data in a distributed network.

What is f(x) decentralized docker?
Decentralized docker, i.e. DDocker, is an open platform for developers to build, ship and run distributed applications.

What is f(x) IPFS?
InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is a protocol and network designed to store data in a distributed system.

What is a node on the Function X network?

A node can be any hardware that is powered by Function X (yes, the five elements introduced above). In other words, XPhone, XPOS and other smart hardwares can be potential nodes.

Will this be a proprietary project?

It will be an open source undertaking. In the worst case scenario, or rather the best one, the f(x) ecosystem is designed to continue to flourish with or without the company (Pundi X), as per the spirit of Satoshi Nakamoto. Ultimately, Pundi X will ensure a long lasting growth to Function X while the company continues to serve the ecosystem.

How secure is Function X?
Owners have full control of the data, no one - whether it’s third party, ISPs, or even network nodes can control, limit or eavesdrop on your data. Only the owner of the private key can encrypt, send or destroy information in the network.

Who created the Function X?
Function X is created by Pundi X Labs.

Who owns Function X?
Function X was conceived with the ultimate goal of it being completely decentralized including its own ownership. Therefore, it will be autonomous and owned by no one.

Is the f(x) blockchain also a Function X?

f(x) blockchain can be used loosely to mean both the Function X ecosystem and the public ledger component of the ecosystem that is the f(x) chain.

Is there any difference between Function X and f(x)?

Both are the same and can be used interchangeably.
