My bro just said I'm getting addicted to my Portfolio app, and I think he is right. I usually check crypto prices at least three times a day. I know it's not very healthy checking crypto prices these days, but bitcoin specifically has been doing well.
When I'm about investing in a new project I believe in, I usually monitor the price for a couple of days. There are those moments when you believe in the team behind a project and appreciate their methods of communication, but the price of the token could be even more appealing. A crypto enthusiast once said, "It is far better to buy a wonderful crypto at a fair price, than a fair crypto at a wonderful price." Since it involves money; no one would want to throw funds away. You'd definitely want the accumulate a wonderful crypto at a fair price!
When you monitor cryptos for a long time you realize that sometimes as quickly as it goes up, it can also go down just as quick. That is one of the perks of being observant. You know when to jump in and when to pull out. Don't forget the French/ English proverb; a stitch in time saves nine.
PS: If you have high blood pressure, I'd say you should avoid checking the price of altcoins regularly. Every time I check the price of some Alts, they're down another 5%. Such dumps on Alts could trigger up the blood pressure.

At the beggining when i was still learning everything i could about cryptos 3-5 times per day. Now i usually do it once every morning and maybe once at night along with the crypto news. But it all takes less than 30 seconds.
If i only had to invest in 2 altcoins i would go for BNB first as it is the most stable over the course of its existence due to represent an actual business (an exchange market). Second i would go for monero cause its the biggest privacy coin right now and this category has a bright future solving real problems (privacy).

I have started building my Portfolio....Please suggest some more tokens to be included, apart from BTC and ETH.... ( these two are all time favorite for anyone i guess
)All the privacy tokens will have a bright future. I would go with Monero for sure for a long term hold.

Unless you have a solid edge over the market its always worse to trade instead of buy and hold. This is especially true for the cryptocurrency market where the whales manipulate prices.

For profit ofcourse but also to support this sector. Cryptocurrency and smart contracts are the future and the more they develop the better for all of us.
ETH is still number #2 cryptocurrency by market cap (and a wide margin from xrp). Its only a matter of time before it reaches all time high prices again and even surpass them as people adopt crypto more. The same will happen ofcourse with all other solid crypto projects.
Friends, I have recently read an article on the future of the banking system thanks to proliferation of smart contracts, some countries are already preparing cryptobanking projects, and this should happen the next few years. Actually the conclusion of the article was that the free financial market - cryptocurrency is the future for the financial system. Do you agree? Is it so positive, or will the state regulation complicate things, but in my opinion it is inevitable for the banking sector, in your opinion?
Banks are trying to integrate blockchain technology because its way more advanced and secure than the current digital money (visa, swift etc.). Their plan is to tokenize all forms of value and assets.
At the same time they absolutely hate decentralized and privacy cryptocurrencies because they are against their own existence.
In fact the only reason they haven't pushed to make crypo illegal is because they need the blockchain technology.
I know many will say the time ended, we must have bought before 15 days but I think this is the best time. Before couple of weeks ago, BTC was around $4k and which is why altcoins are overpriced in term of BTC. Now that BTC has gained price, altcoins price has decreased in term of BTC and now is the best time to pick your favorite altcoin because right after the BTC ride, altcoin will also follow the trend.
I ve been holdign for over one year the same altcoins. the past 6 months was the best period to buy. Even now with the curent price rises we are at the beggining of a bull market. As for what to get just the old solid projects like ETH, BNB, NEO, LTC, monero etc.

As what we see in the past 6 years. The price of bitcoin will increase this year and my estimate for the price will reach to 6,000 USD this November.And the reason behind is the booming of Lightning Network and the Lapps that base on LN.
Well i think that we hit rock bottom at around 100b market cap (total crypto sector). So speculating a BTC price of 6k usd by November is a very realistic goal. To be honest i will be somewhat disaponted if it is only at 6k after 8 months...
Thats complete nonsense. The cost of mining BTC alone and the investment of big miners is enough to keep the price way above those limits as they themselves would just start buying it just to keep the prices high using their huge amounts of capital earned over the years.
We are probably already hit rock bottom since prices are stable for months and a reversal in market psychology leading to another boom is coming. Just look at the advancements in the sector its almost only positive news everyday for over a year now.

If you see a steady rise in prices that lasts for months (4+ imo) then you can start talking about a bull market. I may last year we had a nice rise that lasted over a month and then prices dropped again. Thats why i think it takes months to talk about a change in sentiment.

I am pretty confident ETH will rise over 1k in price as it is one of the highest quality crypto projects right now. The only problem is with the current overall market conditions it will take years to happen.
In my opinion, the best time to sell is when the market price of the coin is 20%+ higher than the market price at which you bought the coin. Dont wait till the market price is 95%+ before you sell. That only happens when you got your eyes glues to your machine 24/7. Dont be greedy... Make a little profit and grow it over time. Cryptomarket is growing and full of terror! Be careful
Just hold long term and take profits slowly when prices rise. No need for shorterm speculation and set numbers.
The problem is the price of BTC is so low now that it may not even worth to work for 1 per year. Also we are in bear market and even icos are stagnating. I would try it after the market recovers.
