Re: 200,000 people apply to be first to live on Mars
by

on 25/01/2014, 22:17:14 UTC
I personally would not want to go there, because I will be missing out on a lot of the amenities that I enjoy here on Earth. I mean, what are we supposed to eat on Mars? How about recreation? No tv, internet, video games, movies, or radio? That's worse than being on Survivor! I think that the 200,000 people that applied for it think that they wouldn't miss Earth anyway, so they are completely ok with being stuck in Mars forever. I find it weird, but hey, it's their life, so let them be.

I didn't know that they also own Paypal? There are no giveaway signs on their logo. However, I did notice that Moneygram made their models do the "666 salute gesture" on their print ads.

A quick Google search will give you lots of examples with pics like this link:

Aside from what you said, they are also involved on some gross rituals like drinking children's blood, that's why some random children just go missing and they were never found.

I'm not surprised though, if you have been researching about the activities and rituals of the Illuminati then you will know that they have murdered many people already. But why not post a thread about someone that they have recently killed instead?  Grin There are rumors that they killed Paul Walker and Cory Monteith, but I still am skeptical because I haven't researched that thoroughly yet. I do know that it's positive that they have killed Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson.

Re: [POLL] How would you describe yourself politically?

I think I'm leaning towards the Liberal and Conservative group. But I'm really jaded with the broken promises of some politicians. They just put their best foot forward during election/voting season and then after that when they get elected, they are back to the same old routine where they don't really do anything.

I also know what you're talking about, so good job posting this thread. It seems like you're concentrating on the health aspect sabotage that the Illuminati is doing. I'm sure you also know of the conspiracy that they have with the media and the famous musicians and actors, right? The Satanists are everywhere.. When I found out that Oprah and Tyra were Illuminati sold-outs, I got disappointed, especially Oprah since I idolize her and her generosity and philanthropist ways.

I believe in the Illuminati, and it's members are not your average Joe on the sidewalk. They are the "Elite" and up there in society, like the Rockefeller clan and the Royal family. The whole New World Order is predicted in the bible, so I'm not surprised that it is actually unfolding bit by bit before our very eyes right now. When that microchip and universal currency pushes through, then you know that the NWO has started. But I think that the reign of the anti-Christ is still a long time from here and in won't happen in our current generation.

Re: moving out with just $4000

If you can be able to rent a studio type of room and you are expecting or if you actually have a decent job then you can manage to survive for like a month or 2. But if you don't have a job right now, then I guess it's time to start looking before you even think about moving out. It would suck if your money ran out and you don't have any job.

I think your best bet on how to deal with the possibility of losing your bitcoins would be to entrust the info to a trusted family member and teach them how to use it, and since you seem to be in good terms with your family, then I would say that you should do it as soon as possible, because you'll never know when something unpleasant will happen to you. I'm not in good terms with my family, so if I had a stash of bitcoins lying around then for sure I won't let them have it!  Cheesy

Well, since the other members have already listed the most popular stores online, then I guess that it's up to you to decide which one do you want to purchase from. I strongly suggest you to avoid buying refurbished ones, because they can potentially cause a lot of hassle when you have them delivered to your home, and then they start to malfunction shortly after you have used it.

If I had that much money, then I would try living in several places, just to see how it's like to live in a certain country, then from that point I will take my pick as to where I want to reside permanently.

Re: How do you make friends after college?
by
inquisitive
on 23/01/2014, 23:06:40 UTC
I normally made friends just by chatting with co-workers, and then if we get along, we chat more often, and then it turns into hanging out after work and exchanging cellphone numbers. I think you need to find people you have a common interest with and start from that. I think the reason why you don't have co-worker friends is that they have other more important responsibilities like having a family to take care of, so hanging out after work is not even on their minds. That is understandable, so I guess you should try to just randomly be friendly with strangers when you go out, like if you go to a bar or even the supermarket, make an effort to initiate small talk with strangers. Who knows, they eventually may become your friend later on.

So what's this about exactly? And I wouldn't go walking around NY looking like that. She's asking to get shot by some trigger-happy cop who think she's a suicide bomber.

Grin Maybe she was just too eager to show off her bitcoins, after all, the tangible version of bitcoins isn't mainstream yet. But yeah, she should have been more cautious.

Re: Bitcoin mentioned on a TV show

I think bitcoins would gain more publicity if they were featured in a popular talk show, like in The Ellen DeGeneres Show for example. Maybe that would happen in the near future, who knows, right? And being featured in a talk show is more beneficial, because it also explains to people what bitcoins are about and how can they use them as compared to just being the subject in a scripted tv show.

Well since every opinion is subjective, then I guess we should just treat it that way. The most important thing is that we can earn real cash with bitcoins and that's all that matters, whether someone considers it as an "art" or a "currency".

Re: What other ways do you use to make money online?

I used to invest my money in those HYIP sites and money cycler sites, but it's not risk-free, and I ended up losing money more than than earning or making profit from it. So newbies should not really try it because they may end up being scammed, because they are all Ponzi schemes. So now I just concentrate on writing articles and on other task-oriented sites, but I'm currently looking at how to earn passive money from those pay per download sites.

Re: Movie Recommendation Station
by
inquisitive
on 20/01/2014, 17:32:13 UTC
I would like to recommend these films, some of them are underrated, but they are quite good. Unfortunately, they just lacked the hype that some other big films had. The films that I would recommend would be:

-Monster
-The Talented Mr. Ripley
-Big Nothing
-Insidious
-Shutter
-Let Me In

And if you're into crude humor:
-Bruno
-Deuce Bigalow 1 and 2
-The Hangover 1 and 2

(I will edit this list from time to time to add new movies that I want to recommend)
